Chapter 19: chapter 19

                                 1Leo came out of the car and helped Kim carry Zaini. Nazma and Javier grabbed Zaini in their arms. "Thank you so much!" said Nazma."Welcome. Are you guys her friends?" asked Kim."We have just met her 2-3 days back. She is our flatmate. Thank you so much for your help. May I know your name? And the contact number?" said Nazma."My name is Leo and he is Kim J...", said Leo and was interrupted by Kim."Kim Min Ho""Aa..yes. Kim Min Ho", said Leo as he looked at Kim, and nodded. "She already has my contact number. We met on the flight but why do you need our contact number?" asked Kim out of curiosity."So that she could personally thank you after waking up", said Nazma trying to figure out what kind of face was behind the mask. "You seem familiar", said Nazma again."He is wearing a mask!" smirked Leo."Even though he is wearing a mask. It looks like I have seen him somewhere!!" said Nazma carefully looking at Kim."Nice try... But he is not interested", said Leo and smirked again.Nazma rolled her eyes, looked at Leo from the bottom up, and said, "Neither am I.""But I am a little interested. You look hot", uttered Leo in a low voice. "She seemed upset. Is everything alright with her?" asked Kim Jae ignoring what Leo uttered. "No, she is not alright. By the way, was she drinking with you guys?" asked Nazma."No... No. We got a call from some stranger that she was in need.""But why would someone call you only?""Because he could not understand the other names on her cell phone. And my name is Korean so he dialled my number", explained Kim Jae."Oh okay.""Okay, then we should leave now", said Kim Jae realizing there was nothing to talk about anymore. Kim Jae and Leo turned around. Kim Jae looked back and saw Javier trying to carry Zaini in his arms. He could not bear it and jumped in front of Javier and grabbed Zaini in his arms. Kim Jae realized after a few milliseconds that he was behaving weirdly. Leo looked at him in shock. "I thought Javier was too weak to carry her...", said Kim Jae. "Really? Who is this Kim? I don't know you", said Leo to himself.Nazma showed Kim the way to her flat. All of them entered the flat. Kim placed Zaini on her bed. Leo and Kim came out of the flat to leave. Nazma came out to see off both of them. Javier was still inside the flat."Does that boy also live here?" asked Kim Jae. "Yes, we all are doctors and grown-ups!!" said Nazma stressing the word grown-ups.   Leo nudged Kim Jae, held his arm, and pulled him to move away. "Okay, then see you. I will contact you whenever I feel sick. You seem like a good doctor", said Leo smiling.Nazma said nothing as she found it odd whatever he said.Nazma closed the door after they left and came back to check on Zaini who was asleep.                                  2"What has happened to you?? Why were you asking so many questions about her? Why were you being so protective of her? You even carried her in your arms!!" asked Leo in a little bit raised voice. "Do I need to answer you? You work for me. I don't work for you!" said Kim Jae."You are right but I have been working for you for the last 8 years. I deserve to know what you think, what you do, and why you do something. And, even what you feel about something too!! I am your manager and I take care of your career and your life too", said Leo. Meanwhile, both of them sat in the car. Kim Jae sat silently and Leo was expecting some answers. He kept on looking at Kim Jae."She came here because of me and she is suffering. I feel bad for her", said Kim Jae.Leo stopped the car all of a sudden and looked at Kim Jae with shocked eyes. Kim Jae looked at him once and then looked away to avoid any eye contact. "You have never cared for me once in these my 8 years of service! But you are going out of the way for her whom you have just met 3-4 days back!!!" said Leo feeling jealous and making a puppy face. Kim Jae sighed and asked Leo to drive the car as he could hear other people honking the horns. Leo looked around and bent his head a bit feeling sorry for making all the mess around on the street and started the car. "You have not called her here. She has come on her own and she is responsible for whatever happens to her. So stop feeling burdened. Focus on your next story", said Leo while driving.Kim Jae said nothing and kept on looking outside.                                    3Zaini woke up late the next morning and reached the hospital late by 2 hours. She even missed early morning calls from Prague and her family members.She got a good scolding and punishment from Dr. Park who was furious at her. Other students enjoyed the whole scene which made Zaini feel so down that she broke into tears. "If you have a good reason for being late then I will think about reducing your punishment otherwise you are going to attend the general ward for the day and night shifts and also will come back tomorrow with the preparation of a  written test and you have to score above 90 percent to pass the test!!" yelled Dr. Park.Zaini knew there was no good reason for being late. She cursed herself for drinking so much and sleeping insanely. She cleared her tears and accepted the punishment. "I will go to the general ward as per the punishment and will come back tomorrow prepared for the test too", said Zaini in a slow voice.Other students giggled and laughed. Dr. Park stared at them and made them shut their mouths but they were happy in their hearts.
