Chapter 948 - She Is Already Missing Mobai Right After He Left

Si Mobai curled his lips and smiled. He then lowered his head gently and looked affectionately at Feng Tianlan’s sleeping face. She had fallen asleep so quickly. It seemed like she was rather tired recently. The words that she said right before she slept must have been true.

He lowered his head and gave her a gentle kiss on her forehead. When he saw her scratching her forehead in a cute manner as if she was disturbed, he couldn’t help but smile. He then hugged her to sleep.

Feng Tianlan was in a hazy state. She didn’t know how long she had slept. After feeling movement beside her, she opened her eyes and saw Si Mobai wearing his clothes. Her drowsiness disappeared immediately. She then looked at the sky outside as the dawn was just breaking.

“It’s just the break of dawn. Are you leaving already?” Feng Tianlan asked in a reluctant manner while rubbing her eyes. Besides, he hadn’t even slept for more than two hours. Wouldn’t it be too tiring for him?

Si Mobai replied with a soft “uh-huh.” He then said, “Things are getting quite urgent over there. I will come back to Lan’er after everything is settled.”

Feng Tianlan got out of bed and took his belt from his hand. She then wrapped it around his waist and tied it for him. “Be careful on the road. Rest when you need to and eat well. Don’t tire yourself out. Put your life before everything else. Otherwise, your Lan’er will become someone else’s.”

After listening to Feng Tianlan nagging him and seeing how she helped him tie his belt, he felt as if they were both newlyweds and an old couple at the same time. These two feelings were rather contradictory, but he felt very blissful.

“All right. I am cooking porridge in the kitchen. Go sleep for a little while longer. It will be ready when you’re awake,” Si Mobai said. He grabbed her face and gave her a gentle kiss on her forehead.

Feng Tianlan nodded her head while staring at the concentric knot that she had made for him hanging from his waist. She then stood on the tips of her toes and gave him a gentle kiss on his lower lips. “Come back sooner,” she said.

“Wait for me.” Si Mobai replied with a soft “uh-huh.” He then turned around and left. If he were to stay longer, he was afraid that he couldn’t bear to leave her and might take her along instead.

Feng Tianlan watched Si Mobai’s figure disappear into the hazy night. She instantly felt an emptiness in her heart as if it had left with him.

The huge house was instantly empty as well. However, the minty fragrance that had come from his body was still lingering in the air. She then turned around and went back to bed. She was lying on the spot where he had been previously as she hugged her blanket, sniffing the remnants of his smell. “Although he just left, I am already missing Mobai.”

She realized that she was too deep in love with him.

Feng Tianlan sat hugging the blanket while smelling what remained of his scent and smiled foolishly while thinking about him until morning. She really was falling deeper and deeper in love with him.

When Feng Tianlan thought about the things she had to do today, she got out of bed. After freshening up, she ate the barley red bean porridge that had been cooked personally by Mobai before he left. That texture of the fragrant sticky rice made her think of the feeling she got when she kissed Mobai.
