Chapter 944 - Shave Your Beard for a Lifetime

By the time Feng Tianlan finished her noodles, Si Mobai was also done with his work. He tied the written letter around a carrier bird and released it. Then, he walked towards her and led her to the courtyard for a stroll, so that she could digest her food better and they both could talk.

“What bad thing have you done in the palace today?” Si Mobai asked.

Feng Tianlan roughly narrated the incident from earlier that night, then said with a smile, “I ask Shui Jue to remove Jiang Ying’s manhood.”

“Huh?” Hearing what she had said, Si Mobai raised his eyebrows in glee. “Well done.”

“Have you heard of what happened in Lin’an City recently?” she asked.

Si Mobai nodded and said, “I was thinking about crippling him on my own when I came back. I never thought that you’d do so before me.”

The recent rumors in Lin’an City were originally directed at him and Lan’er. Even if he had his ears shut against the affairs outside their window, they would still find their way to his ears.

“Is the Bailan Alliance alright?” Feng Tianlan asked.

Si Mobai held her hand and rubbed it against his prickly chin. “I’m leaving tomorrow morning, so I’m gonna skip shaving. I’ll make myself uglier so that you will have fewer love rivals.”

The bristles of his build tickled Feng Tianlan’s palm. She looked up at Si Mobai’s contented smile and said, “Why are you in such a hurry?”

Was he going to leave after only being back for three hours?

Did he really come back specifically just to see her?

Si Mobai hummed softly, “When I’m done with my errands, I’ll come back and spend more time with you.”

“Let me shave you then.” Feng Tianlan sat up straight and lifted the quilt.

Si Mobai looked at her hesitantly and asked, “You know how to shave?”

“No, so I’m giving you my first time.” Feng Tianlan got out of bed, pulled Si Mobai to the dressing table, made him sit down, and pulled a dagger out from her storage ring.

Si Mobai stared at the light reflected from the dagger then glanced at Feng Tianlan and asked, “Are you trying to murder your husband?”

“Trust my skills.” Feng Tianlan bend down and looked at his prickly, green beard. “Even if I am to murder you, I’ll let you feel no pain.”

“Am I going to die in the bathroom?” he asked.

Feng Tianlan glared at him in annoyance and said, “Shut up, or I’ll really murder you later.”n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

Mobai was becoming more and more like a hooligan!

Si Mobai smiled and remained silent after that. Keeping himself still, he allowed Feng Tianlan to shave off his beard with the razor-sharp dagger. He was confident in her. Besides, looking at Feng Tianlan’s serious eyes that seemed to say she was treating the most precious treasure in this world, his callous heart was melted into a puddle of water.
