Chapter 789 - Shen Yunya Wants to Talk to the Demon King?

The handsome young man who ruined her wedding that day was Feng Tianlan, and Feng Tianlan was also Shen Qingdai. Shen Yunya had tested her many times before; however, she had never gotten any clues from those tests.

“I have also never expected Ya’er to make such a miscalculation,” Feng Tianlan sneered. Wasn’t her tolerance forced by Shen Yunya? When she was being tortured previously, she couldn’t move nor scream. She could only endure it silently.

Shen Yunya sat down gracefully and looked at the calm Feng Tianlan. She gazed closely at Tianlan’s looks, vibe, and behavior. Tianlan was nothing like Shen Qingdai.

“I was wondering, how can you still be alive?” Shen Yunya had asked the state preceptor to get rid of Sheng Qingdai’s soul, and her corpse was also hidden. How had Shen Qingdai come back from the dead?

She just couldn’t figure out how Shen Qingdai did it.

Feng Tianlan looked at her with a smile. “If Ya’er really wants to know, then why not die once? Maybe you will get your answer by then.”

Shen Yunya snorted coldly. “Do you think that if you come back to life, Brother Jin will belong to you? Don’t forget the fact that he ate the dumplings that were made from your skin. Don’t ever expect him to love you again. Don’t even think about revealing your identity to him, or else he will know the truth.”

“I won’t say a thing, but you can stop dreaming about getting married to Brother Jin.” Feng Tianlan smirked while looking at Shen Yunya, whose expression changed completely. “Ya’er, this matter is not only my secret. Didn’t it become your secret as well?” Feng Tianlan asked.

Unless Shen Yunya didn’t love Brother Jin at all, then she wouldn’t mind revealing the truth.

However, Shen Yunya cared about Brother Jin. She didn’t want to lose him. Therefore, both of them were at a crossroads, as they both had their respective concerns.

Shen Yunya remembered how she said that she would never get married to Brother Jin in front of all the guests. When she saw Feng Tianlan’s gaze, her hatred intensified. If Si Mobai and Bailan Alliance hadn’t been supporting Feng Tianlan, Shen Yunya wouldn’t have let her off so easily.

As for their pretentious acts regarding the matter three years ago, it would be meaningless for them to do so when they were alone.

“It will be our battle next.” Shen Yunya stood up and glanced at Feng Tianlan with disdain. “Even if you have been reborn, you are still no match for me.”

Feng Tianlan raised her head. “Ya’er must not forget what I said. Your lives belong to me!”

Those were her last words before she died. She had been fighting hard to fulfill them.

Shen Yunya sneered. “No one knows who will emerge victorious, but please grow a brain this time and stop depending on men. You can’t depend on them forever,” she snapped.

Feng Tianlan smiled as she sent Shen Yunya off. She probably came by purposely to give Tianlan a warning because she was mentally and physically exhausted from worrying for the past few days that Tianlan might reveal the truth.

Shen Yunya saw Si Mobai returning to Bailan Alliance right after she had left. When she saw that he was planning to walk past her as if she didn’t exist, she couldn’t help but call out, “Demon King, please wait.”

When Si Mobai heard her voice, he frowned as he turned around and looked at her. “Were you here to look for Lan’er?” he asked.

“Yes. Can I speak with you?” Shen Yunya said in a graceful and generous manner without any hints of shyness. She kept herself three inches away from him, which seemed rather appropriate.

“No.” After saying that, Si Mobai didn’t take another look at her. He strode into the building. He had already held back by not killing this woman, who was Lan’er’s enemy. Yet she still wanted to talk to him?

Was she trying to instigate his relationship with Lan’er?
