Chapter 233 - The Impatient Luo Yunzhu

“I’m serious, though. Who doesn’t want to stand on the highest peak?” Luo Yunzhu let go of her and pouted as she pulled a glum face. “Besides, you said such awful words to hurt me. My heart still aches, ok?”

If she hadn’t genuinely believed that Tianlan wasn’t such a heartless person, she would have ended their friendship when Tianlan made that hurtful ‘up to you’ remark!

“From my point of view, I think that my Miss and Miss Luo are the same. Both sides have said equally hurtful things.” Even though they’d said them for each other’s good, they still sounded terrible.

“You’re the best and most caring of us all, Chuling. Tomorrow, all three of us will enter the academy together. I’ll go tell Father right now.”

Feng Tianlan watched Luo Yunzhu run off immediately after saying this. Her personality was as fiery and impatient as her red dress. Both her character and her actions were the same—always in a hurry.

The next morning, Luo Yunzhu came over very early and banged so hard on the door that she might as well have kicked it down.

Feng Tianlan opened the door and saw Luo Yunzhu in the dim candlelight. She was dressed in all red like a walking flame. If she didn’t have a joyful expression on her face, one might have thought something terrible had happened.

Before Feng Tianlan could say anything, Luo Yunzhu forced her way in. Then, she took out a piece of clothing and proudly showed it to her. “Nice?”

“Nice.” The item that Luo Yunzhu was showing her was made of the best silk, and there was a flame embroidered on the left shoulder with silver thread. She raised an eyebrow and asked doubtfully, “This is the Blue Flame Academy’s uniform?”

The academy’s uniform featured a flame embroidered on the left shoulder. But it was white with green trim, not all-white, like the one Yunzhu was holding. Besides, it looked too big for Yunzhu.

“Come, quickly put it on.” Luo Yunzhu pushed it into Feng Tianlan’s arms upon hearing her positive response. “I like red, and you like white, so we’re not going to wear that ugly uniform. Don’t worry. I used my position to bribe the seamstress so that nobody will say anything.”

After hearing this, Feng Tianlan held onto the uniform and didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. “Did you stay up to make sure this was finished then rush over the moment it was done?”

“Is there a problem?” Luo Yunzhu blinked. She didn’t think this was a problem at all.

Feng Tianlan took a look outside and nearly died from laughing. “It’s barely 2 AM now, and the sun hasn’t risen yet.”

“I was just so happy.” Luo Yunzhu scratched her head awkwardly. She had been in a great hurry and was just too excited. When she’d returned home earlier, she had immediately ordered these clothes be made and brought them over the minute they were ready.

Chuling covered herself with an outer coat and looked sleepily at Luo Yunzhu. She couldn’t help but yawn a few times. “Miss Luo, you’re really early.”

“She hasn’t slept, that’s why.” Feng Tianlan had a faint smile on her face. Yunzhu was too impatient.

Luo Yunzhu dragged Chuling into the room, then took out another set of clothes and draped them over Chuling’s arms. “I don’t know what color you like, so I made a blue one for you. Since you love to cry so much, I’m sure you’re made of water.”

The clothes were hanging on Chuling’s arms, and her face was full of questions.

“That’s the Blue Flame Academy’s uniform,” explained Feng Tianlan.

Luo Yunzhu nodded. “That’s right. The three of us grew up together, so of course, we wouldn’t exclude you.”

Chuling was stunned for a moment. She didn’t dare touch the uniform, in case she crumpled it. “But I am only a slave girl.”

Slaves were not eligible to study in an academy, so she didn’t have the privilege of wearing this uniform.
