Lanterns and streamers decorated the way. The double happiness symbols and red ribbon flower balls could be seen everywhere. The atmosphere was full of happiness and even the maidservants’ faces were flushed with joy as if they were the ones getting married.

Feng Tianlan wandered around with them for a long time before arriving at the quarters where the bride was dressing up. It was full of people. She couldn’t help but frown as she listened to the laughter and chattering coming from the room.

Listening to these conversations, Feng Tianlan was confused. She frowned and took a step into the room.

No one noticed that she had entered the room. Feng Tianlan frowned, and she called out to them individually, “YunZhu, Mei’er, Xiao Xiao, Sister Lin?”

Luo YunZhu was helping to adjust and tidy the woman’s outfit. She smiled teasingly, “This piece of inner sleepwear is so soft and light. It can be taken off quickly with just a gentle tug. Is this specially prepared for the wedding night?”

The woman blushed. Her face flushed red from embarrassment. “Mobai made this himself.”

The woman blushed and nodded gently.

Xi Lin and Mei’er took the wedding gown from the clothing stand and helped her put it on. “The undergarments are nothing. This wedding gown was made by the Demon King as well. Take a look at these. The Demon King personally sewed these gardenias on stitch by stitch without asking for any help. I am so envious of you.”

Luo Yunzhu and the rest continued teasing the woman. The atmosphere was so lively, filled with laughter and chattering.

Feng Tianlan’s gaze fell on the bright red wedding gown. It had gardenias embroidered on it. As it was for the wedding, red and gold threads were used for the embroidery of the flowers. It was done with a double-threaded embroidery method which made it looked very harmonious, beautiful, and glorious.

Something was not right. Because of the characters of their names, Mobai liked gardenias. Gardenias were also embroidered on the wedding gown, so why did she only see peonies on her way here?

Up till now, she had only seen the side profile of ‘herself’ and not her whole face. So was it really the wedding of her and Mobai?

Feng Tianlan didn’t know why, but she suddenly thought about the scene she saw in the crystal ball when she was in Jialan Hall. It was the scene of Mobai’s wedding, but his bride wasn’t her. It was someone who looked just like her.
