"What?! Daughter-in-law? You are such a comedian Audrey" Jessica laughed at her words, thinking she was joking.

"Come on Audrey, no need to help this piece of low life" Wiping her tears, Jessica said.

Realizing Audrey wasn't joking, Jessica shrieked, "Are you serious?! You chose her. Over me?!"

Though Enya, Scarlet and Leah knew Audrey was just bluffing, they helped to keep the act up.

"Please, I would rather eat shit then have you as my sister-in-law" Enya looked at Jessica is disgust.

Jessica rolled her eyes, unable to believe their words. "Y'all are actually weird people" Jessica told them.

Leah felt a vibration at her pants and took it out to see it. Fishing the phone out from her pocket, she quietly headed of to the corner to pick up the phone.

"Hi Leah, they are outside now. We are coming in now" Stressing on the now, Stephanie told her.

She and the girls had made a signal to show that they were coming- a gun symbol on their hand.

They knew that they had to keep them longer but not making it too obvious so that the police could get them and conclude this case.

Just then, they heard the doors opening and saw many police officers surrounding all exits, making sure there was no way they could escape.

Stephanie had then just entered, saying: "Jessica Jane Warts?" Jessica nodded. "Bianca Jillian Hayes?" Bianca too nodded. "Hannah Marie Keys?" Hannah also complied.

"The three of you are under arrest for vandalism and breaking in" Stephanie said. "Cuff them"

Despite their struggles, the officers managed to get them into the police cars.

"I will be the only person worthy to be the daughter-in-law of the De Luca family! Not Leah Knight!" Jessica shouted at the top of her lungs, causing even more stares to fall on her and Leah.

It definitely caused a big mess.

"Thanks Stephanie for your help" Leah smiled in appreciation.

"No need to thank me. Just doing my job" She replied and entered the car which drove off.

The four ladies could finally relax.

"Come on. Let's go back and continue fixing up the place" Enya said, pushing everyone back in.

Slowly, the commotion had died down which was great. No one wanted to deal with the states that were on them for the past thirty minutes.

The rest of the time was spent rebuilding and  leaving sending the covers to the laundry shop for help.

Music was blasting loud enough for them to enjoy but not too loud to have a noise complaint.

She also had to plan and be careful about her budget now. Leah still needed to build a changing room as well as some toilets, and possibly invest in a better security system.

Her head was filled with so many tasks yet she didn't felt like doing any.

But she didn't want her thoughts to affect the girls mood. The music kept the atmosphere up.

After that, they went their separate ways. Enya and Audrey were going to back to their home while Scarlet was going back to her's and Romeo's place.

For Leah, she was on the way to the laundry place before going back to her apartment where half of her clothing were there.

To dress up for the date, she had to go back home where there was date appropriate wear for her fancy date, as Kane had specified.

As how she was traveling you might ask? Pete had drove a car down for her and since it was near where his wife worked, he went there for the rest of the day.

She first went to the laundry company where they accepted the covers, but it would be quite costly.

Leah still accepted the price and thanked them before leaving back home.

It was about 4pm ish when she left the laundry company and hopefully it gave her enough time to get ready for later.

Around half and hour later, she arrived back at her apartment. It looked the same as she left it, thank god.

She didn't want another episode of redoing her whole place again.

Noticing it was a little dusty, she grabbed her vacuum out and started to vacuum some of the dust laying around.

Once done, she took a shower. Feeling much better, she changed into a random set of pajamas for the time being while she blow dried her hair while watching some random youtube videos.

Then, it was outfit time- her favorite part of getting ready. Looking through her wardrobe, she found something tucked in the corner- a white long dress. It even had the tag on.

Putting it on, she felt confident. Despite feeling her rolls when she sits, Leah still wanted to wear it. Clothes that fit her body type really looked good on her.

She felt good and that's all it matters.

After that, she did some simple makeup and packed everything she needed in her purse, then left for Kane's place, but at this point, it is like their place.

While on the way, she was jamming out to her playlist of top notch songs, as proclaimed by the lady herself.

Not long after, she reached. The music that accompanied her during the drive made it seem shorter than it already is.

She parked the car at the garage and placed the keys in the garage where Pete would collect it back tomorrow.

When she entered the place, she was greeted by the silence. Leah was glad no one was here to compliment her.

As much as she appreciated it, Leah never knew how to respond during such situations.

She still had some time left before Kane came to keep her up so, she worked on some designs.

The materials are to be coming in later this week, Saturday to be exact.

When that arrives, Leah can start making the pieces and send them for mass production.

After close to fifteen minutes of sketching, Leah felt a vibration on the table and saw a message from Kane:

For some odd reason, she didn't like the contact she saved him as and wanted to change it, but she didn't what to change it to.

Once she reached the door, she opened and pondered over a new contact name for Kane- crime buddy ❤️🔪

She liked it now.

Looking up, she saw Kane driving in and hoped on into the car. "Hey honey" Leah greeted him who likewise did the same.

"Hi sweetie. Ready?" Kane asked who nodded.

They chatted about their days today as they hadn't really spend much time together today expect for now.

Leah and Kane were both busy doing work things.

"You look gorgeous" Kane complimented her as usual, but this time, Leah knew how to not blush every time she was given a compliment by him.

They arrived at an fancy looking restaurant which looked made for the rich and only the rich.

When the waiter left, they looked through the menu, well more like Leah freaking out over the amount of food to choose from.

Plus, it would be one hefty bill to pay.

In the end, he helped her to decide what to eat as she was overwhelmed be the number of choices he had.

Then, he called for the waiter to take their orders.

"We will take Don Perignon with Bruschetta and Caprese Salad with Pesto sauce for starters.

Also include Carbonara Pasta and Lasagna thanks" He ordered.

He had been meaning to ask her this and he thought now would be a good time.

"Do you want to move in with me?" Kane asked. "No pressure though" He immediately added in, scared that she might feel pressured.

She had thought about it previously, wondering if it would be better to move into her place. And for the convenience, she agreed.

"But what would happen to my current apartment?" Leah expressed her concern. "I pay a yearly rental fee. And it's only April"

"Don't worry honey,I'll let them know you are not staying there anymore and they can refund the rental fees from May to December back to you" Kane told her.

With a smile, she went on her phone while Kane decided to log onto instagram to catch up on the latest news, when the big and bold headline caught his attention:

Billionaire Kane De Luca has a wife?!

Could be it an arranged marriage or love?
