"You still didn't give me my head massage!" Kane whined the moment he woke up, but of course not forgetting to brush his teeth.

He crossed his arms and pretended to be mad, adding a frown as well.

"I'm sorry. I'll give it now okay" Leah said which made him smile again.

"Okay" He positioned himself comfortably where Leah had easy access to his head where he was given a massage.

Kane had finally got what he wanted after so long. By the time it was done, he still wasn't satisfied.

"I'm sorry baby but we need to go now. I'll give it to you at night but remind me okay?" Leah stuck out her pinky finger to which Kane locked pinkies with.

"Come on now big baby. Let's go for breakfast" Leah said as she pushed him off of her lap. He was heavy that's for sure.

While he was doing his thing, she was getting ready. She chose a hat and grayish-black sweater and white biker shorts.

That was to be her style for the next few weeks, running back and forth.

Romeo, Scarlet and Enya were also coming back today to glow settle the remaining furniture that would be coming today.

Seeing that there were only a few clothing racks and one desk, more was to come and it would be following.

Kane had also gotten ready but stayed in bed slight longer before pulling himself up. The head massage would sort of have put him in a sleep induced coma if it weren't for the fact that they had to leave.

He chose a simple blue tee topped off with black jeans once again.

He was quite a boring dude in terms of fashion. He wasn't the kind of guy to dress. You can only see him in one; casual wear or two; business wear.

This is just his day to day attire. You could never catch him wearing anything else.

"Ready?" Leah asked. Kane nodded as they locked hands and left for breakfast. Where you might ask. Well they are about to find out.

The couple stopped at the local café where they ordered sandwiches and drinks to fuel their growling stomach.

It was peaceful and all until they heard a shrill yet familiar voice coming from the entrance.

"So basically I went to the Gucci store but they didn't sell the belt I wanted so I'm stuck with this random belt from god knows where"

It was so familiar yet they couldn't recognize exactly where they had heard this voice before..

"Kaney!!" They suddenly heard the high pitch scream. Turning around, they saw Jessica  along with Bianca and Hannah.

It attracted almost everyone's undivided attention in the café. Even some curious onlookers had stopped, trying to see the commotion.

With Jessica's arm stretched and ready to give him a hug, Kane carried Leah swiftly and dodged her hug, running away to his car.

By the time Jessica came to her senses, it was too late. They had already left. People who witnessed the scene couldn't help but chuckle.

Even Bianca and Hannah were struggling to hold their laughter.

Jessica left the café embarrassed and annoyed by Leah. She stole her man and Jessica would do anything to get Kane. Anything.

All she needed was a plan.

"That was hilarious" Leah said as Kane drove off in a hurry. Though she was a little surprised by Kane carrying her, she wasn't mad. Leah thoroughly enjoyed it.

As he drove, Kane asked a random question, trying to know everything about her inside and out.

"When's your birthday?" Kane asked. Despite them already being a couple, they hadn't once talk about their birthdays.

"3 March? You?" Though it was in a months time, Kane was panicking internally. He didn't know what to get her but he still remained calm and answered.

"16 October" Kane responded, trying not to sound panicked.

Throughout the car ride, they found out more things about each other and shared some funny memories they had.

It really helped Kane take his mind off the birthday situation.

Soon, they reached the shop and realized the three of them were already there.

Leah felt bad for making them wait. She rushed out the moment Kane had parked his car.

"Sorry guys" Leah apologized repeatedly, opening the door.

"No worries we just arrived" Enya said, calming her down a little. She was just scared that they would be mad.

Kane caught up with them and waved. He briefly explained the situation.

"So you are telling me that this Jessica was about to hug you, then you dodged while carrying Leah and then rushed off" Enya couldn't believe her ears.

"Didn't know my brother was that cool" She added, causing Kane to look at her, a 'you will pay for that' kind of look.

"Anyways, the furniture should be arriving now" Speaking of the devil, a delivery man had knocked on the door and she rushed out.

There were multiple things she had purchased- chairs, clothing racks, some interior decorations, etc.

As there was a lot to unpack and build, they started right away.

Everyone was working on something different, the guys were fixing up the chairs while the girls roughy planned to layout of the shop.

There was a need to build a changing room, at least three in order to cater to a few customers in the future, as well as a toilet.

Luckily, Leah had already contacted someone to help her with that.

After that, the girls went to help the guys fix the chairs as well as the racks. There was quite a bit to build.

Halfway through, Leah had sneakily left and ordered pizza for delivery. She ordered an array of sides and two big pizzas to share. It was her token of appreciation for helping her.

Coming back, she told them she went to the toilet as for them not to suspect.

She wanted this to be a surprise.

When the last of the clothing racks were finished, everyone laid on the chairs they had built.

Just then, there was another knock, which made everyone look at each other puzzled. They didn't expect another delivery at all.

Getting up, Leah rushed up and grabbed the pizzas and sides entering back to where they were.

The aroma of the pizza wafted through the place, making everyone's stomach rumble.

"I got everyone some pizza" Leah said as she brought the bag and placed it on the desk.

Everyone cheered for the food and dug in happily. By the time they felt full, there still was pizza and some wings left.

There was a slight argument on who would bring back the remaining.

In the end, Enya had decided to bring it back,

just nice for a person's meal.

Once they were done with the food, everyone had left. There wasn't anything for them to do.

Bidding each other goodbye, they left to their respective locations.

"Let's go grocery shopping. I think your pantry is on dire need of fresh ingredients. I'll cook braised pork with rice tonight" Leah proposed.

Kane was happy. He honestly had grown to love braised pork rice so much that he had gone to the restaurant multiple times to buy it.

He drove off to the supermarket nearest his place and got off. Leah took the lead in purchasing the fresh ingredients while Kane was off buying some snacks for movie night whenever that happens.

Leah had also chose to get some fruits, specifically grapes and watermelon.

It was a pretty quick trip.

Kane paid and they left for home. The moment they got back home, Leah had already started preparing the pork already for later use.

On the other hand, Kane started to do some paper work. Seeing he was busy, Leah also started to do some sketches till around five thirty.

Of course, they took some cuddle breaks. Or else there was no way for them to be this productive.

Leah did everything step by step like she remembered. By six, the dinner was ready and served.

Turning on the television, they watched another episode of Brooklyn 99.

When the episode ended, Kane grabbed both of their dishes to wash.

"You cooked so I'll clean. This relationship is a partnership" Kane said, making her heart melt.

He really was so unlike her ex.

While he was washing up, she took a shower and remembered the head massage she promised and changed into her usual pajamas, then hopped onto the bed.

Waiting for Kane, she would be giving the head massage she promised in the morning. At least she wasn't going to be labeled as a liar.

He had expected to see her asleep or half asleep and thus was shocked to see her still awake.

"Don't you want your head massage?" Leah asked teasingly. "I'll go to sleep if you don't want it"

Like a puppy, he laid on Leah's lap and she began her head massage. She massaged for around thirty minutes before she started to find herself yawning.

Being the considerate boyfriend he is, he moved her hands and placed her in bed comfortable sleeping position.

"Good night" Kane said.

"Good night honey" Leah said, yawning right after.

Though Leah had long fallen asleep thinking Kane was also sleeping, Kane wasn't. In fact, he couldn't sleep even if he tried to.

He only had one thought in mind- What should she get for Leah?
