Chapter eleven.

VINCENT.

Me and Zander had just got into the car and we are on our way to the shopping centre. I was excited this time, I have gotten used to Zander so I'm more comfortable around him.

"Calm down, Vinnie." Zander chuckled, noticing my bouncing about. "Nope!" I said happily. Zander laughed and shook his head, but continued driving.

I looked at the bag between my feet, it was a light yellow bag with little cute cartoon animals all over it! It was adorable.

My outfit was adorable today as well. I was in a yellow, sunshine designed over-all shorts, with a plain white top underneath it. I had on some sunflower socks with it and black doc martins!

(A/N, I just want to say, I love these over all shorts and I want them so bad but unfortunately I'm broke and idk where to find them!)

In the cute little bag I had my Winnie the Pooh paci, my yellow blankie and Marley!

We pulled into a parking lot and Zander helped me out the car. "Thank you." I said and he nodded. "You're welcome."

"Same rules as before. Don't run off, I don't want to lose you." Zander informed me and I rolled my eyes, "Yeah, yeah."

Zander smiled and grabbed my bag for me putting it on my back. I thank him and he nods, we begin to walk in and I follow closely behind.

It's busier today than it was a week ago.

I go to ask if I go to the toilet until I remember I forgot my cigarettes. I silently curse myself and sigh.

"Where do you wanna go first?" Zander asks turning to me. I look around and notice Waterstones, I point to the shop and he smiles softly.

We go in and I can feel my heart jump with joy, I instantly go to the young adult section. "How many am I allowed?" I ask. "As many as you want." Zander responds.

I bounce on my feet but stop when my mind trails off from the fact he said I can have as many books I want. "Isn't it going to be a lot of money?" I hesitantly ask.

"I'll buy you everything you want. It's your special day." Zander says sweetly, I hug him tightly and he seems a bit taken aback, "Thank you!" I giggle and he hugs me back.

I then look for books. I notice the whole shatter me series and get all of them. Then I look at the Crime section and see 'The Echo Man.' I grab that one as well.

"Is that all?" Zander ruffled my hair, "I think so!" I say and skip towards him.

(A/N, if you LOVE reading, like me, I recommend these books. I've read the shatter me series SOOO GOOD. I LOVE IT SO MUCH. I cried when I finished the series, it's making me sad thinking about how I finished it. The Echo Man, I'm currently reading and it's so good. So I 100% recommend these books.)

We buy them and I happily skip around, I then notice a gift shop and grab Zander's wrist dragging him to it, ignoring his pleas of letting him walk.

It wasn't busy, in fact, we were almost the only people in here. I left Zander's side since he told me I can wander around in here.

I saw two cute matching bear key rings. My mind instantly went to Zander. He's like a bear. Or a cub. I don't know.

I looked at how much money I had and grabbed the two. I went to the till, making sure Zander wasn't looking, thankfully, he wasn't. He was to busy looking at some weird statue.

"Is that all you need for today?" The woman at the till asked. I refrained myself from saying a rude response and just responded with yes.

I payed for it and thanked her.

I went up to my soulmate and tugged his hand, he looked my way. "Did you find something you wanted?"

I ignored him and grabbed his wrist, dragging him out the shop. "Okay, Vincent, please stop dragging me." He asked and I stopped. "Sorry."

"It's okay. I'm assuming you didn't want anything from there?" He chuckled, my cheeks quickly burned up causing Zander's smile to drop. "Are you okay?" He panicked and crouched down to look at me eye to eye.

"I-I got you something." I mumbled, he let out a sigh of relief before smiling a little. "You got me something?" There was a shine in his eyes, it made him look adorable.

I pulled out the bear key rings and he looked like he was about to cry. He took one and kissed my forehead. "I love it, Vincent." He said and i watched his eyes gloss with tears.

"Don't cry!" I panicked and hugged him, he held me and chuckled, "I'm okay, lovely. It's just not many people think to do this for me." He whispered and I just hugged him harder.

"They're matching as well!" I say once we pull away from each other. I show him mine and he smiles.

I put it on my bag and watch as he attaches it to his house and car keys. I smile happily.

THE KEY RINGS.

We go into a few more shops before stopping at a fancy food place. I ordered spaghetti and Zander ordered steak.

Original rich person, right?

"Thank you." I said and he smiled, "You're welcome, lovely."

Our food came and we thanked the waiter, I was about to start eating but dropped my fork. I huffed and bent down to pick it up.

My eyes suddenly met a pair of brown eyes. I jumped and hit my hand on the table but when I looked for a second time, it was a stranger.

"Vincent, are you okay?" Zander asked and came around to my side. He inspected my hand and kissed it making blood shoot up to my cheeks. "I'm okay, Zander." I reassured him and he nodded and went back to his side.

We continued eating, talking from time to time.

We got back to the car or more like I told Zander to go the car whilst telling him I'm going to the toilet. It took a lot of nagging for him to let me go by myself.

In reality I didn't need the toilet, I saw some guy with cigarettes.

I approached him and gave him a sweet smile. "Hiya, sugar. What do you need?" He asked with a sweet tone, "Do you have any cigarettes?" I asked, "Yeah, why?" He puzzled.

"Can I have one?" I put my hand behind my back and gave him an innocent look. He smirked and nodded, he passed me one and lit it for me.

"So what's your name?" I asked I puffed out some smoke, "Harry, what's yours?" He asked putting his cigarette out. "Vincent."

We continued talking until I was finished and I made sure to get all the smell off me, which probably didn't work. I got in the car and Zander gave me a weird look.

"Why did it take you so long? Why do you smell of cigarettes? And why did you leave from the side of the building and not the front?" Zander bombards me with questions.

"I started talking to someone, that stranger was smoking and I accidentally followed them to the side to continue talking to them." I lied straight through my teeth.

Zander unbuckled his seat belt and leaned in close, he grabbed my chin forcing me to look at him. "I don't like when people lie to me."

I huff.

"So, answer those questions honestly." He growls. I roll my eyes, but stop when he gives me a stern look. "I didn't go to the toilet, I saw the guy and started talking to him, I smoked with him at the side of the building. He's a nice guy." I explained.

He let goes of my chin and hums, "Thank you for being honest."

"You're welcome." I say in a mocking tone and he sighs.

"Thank you for today." I politely say, he chuckles and ruffles my hair. "You're welcome, Vincent. I'm glad you enjoyed it."
