Chapter 26

CHAPTER 26

It’s been a week when I left my family and I really miss them already but Bane told me that we would be coming back to my grandparents house together with his family too since Lucas wanted to talk to my parents and grandpa about Bane and I coming to our home and pursue my studies first.

I already know how to control my shifting and was glad to really have the hang out of it. But still I didn’t want to be on that form since I’m not yet that comfortable on myself being a lycan but Bane sometimes wants to see me on my wolf form and he would then smiled seeing me and him turning to one too. Even shadow wants it when he saw me shift he usually cuddles deep into my fur, guess he loves the warm and fell of it.

But then I usually complain to Bane about my hair being long and white. I told him that I plan on coloring it to its natural color and cutting it a little but then he won’t let me. He told me that I look good already and he didn’t want my hair to get cut. I just let him on his accord.

So where here on our way to my grandparents house. I still couldn’t believe that I will finally be able to see them at last. I just hope that they still recognize me. I sat on my seat together with Bane on my side holding me in place because anxiousness was taking its toll on me.

“Don’t worry it’ll be fine Gab.” Bane said smiling down on me. I look at him smiling a little then look outside of the car.

Grey and Lovell were on our back and Lucas and Tanya were in the middle. Bane and I were in the in front together with shadow on my lap. Bane drives us on the way to my grand parent’s house. Lucas told me that it’s his first time seeing my grandpa on his house since they just see each other on meetings and not on each others home.

I finally saw the house and we pull to a stop and when I finally open the car door I run all the way to the house together with shadow with me. I reach the door and knock a few times but no one answers and I noticed that the door was already open.

I panicked and started to call my family but no one was there. I put down shadow on the couch and went upstairs opening each room but still no signs of them.

The tears starting to swell when I started thinking about something wrong might happen to them. I went to the kitchen but still no one then I went to the back door sobbing thinking what happens with my family but was shock when something pop out of it when I open it.

“Welcome home.” said mom and grandma. I look confused but then saw everyone there including Bane and his family. Father and Lucas have the same intense look on their faces, Grey and Lovell smiling widely to me. Then Jade came to me and hugs me.

“Welcome back Gab.” She said with a big smile on her face. “Wow, you look pretty with you hair.” she said then I laugh between my tearstain eyes and pat her head. Shadow bark beneath us and Jade pulled out to me and crouch down for shadow. “Welcome back too Shadow.” She said patting his head.

Bane came to me together with mom and handed me a tissue and I wipe my tears. “I never thought that you all set me up.” I said sobbing between my laugh.

“Sorry Babe. I really didn’t agree to this but your mom said to do this to surprise you.” Bane said and mom nods hugging me and I hug her too.

“Stop being a cry baby now hunny, Bane’s family didn’t know it either, they just came along on our game and you must enjoy the day today since tomorrow we will be back home.” She said. I look shock knowing that early? I never thought about it.

“You two Bane, don’t let Gab cry anymore ok?” Tanya said coming over to us and so Bane nods and the two ladies started talking about us. We left them and walk towards Grey whose eating on a table with a pile of food on his plate. We sat beside him with Bane sliding his arms on my waist which I just let him since he usually do it to me since the day that he saw me change, he always never left my side.

“Can you eat all of that?” I ask him and he nods smiling to me.

“Of course Gab we lycans as you know have bigger appetites especially on us dominates since our body needs all of it, didn’t Bane tell you that?” He asks.

I nod. “Of course I do, but still how can you become fit and muscular after eating that many?” I ask and the two brothers laugh at me.

“It’s something about our genes and all. Well anyway I’ll be starting this already since I’m hungry already.” He said and started to eat.

I nod and Bane started to place food on my plate. I find Lovell and Jade playing with shadow and dad and my grandparents talking with Lucas. I see tension on their side but I guess grandpa was telling them both something that settles the two men.

Mom and Tanya just talk while laughing. I look at Bane and called him and lean to him a little for him to hear me. He stated to lean too and like last time wanted to kiss me so I instantly block his lips with my hand. “Why do you always want to kiss me after I call you? I just wanted you to tell you something.” I said to him.

“I thought you would kiss me that’s why I wanted to kiss you first.” He said simply. I blush and heard Grey laughing at us, rather at me so I pinch the side of Bane seeing him smirking at me.

“So all of you set me up huh?” I ask to both of them. They cringe upon what I’ve said but nod. I eyed Bane and told him that he would sleep on the couch later on for not telling me this. All he said was it was a surprise to me that’s why I shouldn’t know this.

“Whatever. Why does my family isn’t shock when they saw me?” I ask to them.

“Of course they weren’t since Bane usually comes here when he’ll go outside and telling your family about what’s happening to you on the days your with us.” Grey said while eating.

I look at him and he back away. “Sorry, it’s just that before we left I promise your mom and dad about it too Gab.” I just nod and let out a deep breath.

“Fine. Whatever.” I said rolling my eyes.

“So I wouldn’t be sleeping on the couch then?” Bane asks and I nod then he suddenly went to my ears and says something to me about how he misses me already. I blush deeper and Grey groaned.

“Don’t do your lovey dovey thing here you two. I’m still eating.” He said then Bane and I laugh at him.

I saw my mom and Tanya came to my father and Lucas table and they started talking. Bane suddenly grabs my hand and he pulled me to them. I was hesitant to hear what they were talking about since dad look pissed at something.

“You should let Gab be here, he’s already my son’s mate and one of us.” Lucas said to them.

“No. My son needs to study back home for him to have a future, here he will just be nothing.” Dad said looking straight at Lucas.

“But my son will take good care of him. It’s a privileged to be one of us and be on the alphas family.” Lucas said looking straight to at him.

“Stop it you two.” Grandpa said to them. “Adam is right Lucas, he needs to study since he’s still young and he was still on his parent’s custody since he was still not an adult.

“I don’t care, he’s one of us now and my son will definitely take care of him so why even study?” Lucas burst and stands.

“I don’t care if my son is one of you, he’s still my son and I still have the authority to him.” Dad stands too.

“Enough.” Grandpa yells that I cringe and so every body stops and Jade begun to cry maybe from the shock of seeing the adults argue. Mom instantly went to her and calms her together with Tanya and grandma.

I left them seeing that it will never have a good result. So I went upstairs and was about to grab the handle of my bedroom door when someone yank me back and was suddenly hug recognizing it was Bane I instantly hug him back and I sob, he rub my back soothing me.

“Shh. Don’t worry I will let you study.” He said.

“But your father won’t let me and let us go so how can you even say that?” I said between my tears.

“Even if father won’t agree I will still let you go back to your home, together.” He said smiling to me. I look at him and he suddenly hugs me tighter.

“But Ban-.” I was cut off when he kisses me on my lips. He withdraws and smiled sadly at me.

“I know father would accept this eventually, guess he just needs more time to properly get it in mind.” He said opening the door to my room. “You should rest. You look stress already.”

I nod and I instantly grabs his hand when he was about to go back to everyone. “Stay here.” I said looking down. He patted my head and smiled before ushering me on my bed and I slip in my covers and I ask him to lay beside me which he instantly did.

I cuddled on his chest and him hugging me protectively. We just lay they together with him rubbing my head and saying how happy he was when were together like this.

I didn’t know that I had fallen asleep and from the moment I wake up Bane was not in my sight again. I rub my eyes trying to clear my vision and notice its morning already and so I went downstairs to see mom and dad already prepared to live just having a coffee and talking to my grandparents.

I walk to them and they saw me. Mom smiled “Good Morning hunny. Dress up already so we can leave.” She said. I nod and say good morning to all of them but dad didn’t even look at me. I just went upstairs but then remembered Bane.

“Where’s Bane?” I ask all of them. They look at each other for answers but dad already spoke to them.

“He wouldn’t join us Gab, just change already so we could leave. We have to fix that hair of yours too when we go back.

“I won’t leave here. I need Bane. I want him to come to us.” I said between my tears.

“Gabby. Don’t be stupid. His father was stubborn and didn’t think for you and his son, he just wants to isolate both of you here and I won’t let that happen to you. He can do it to his son but I will not let him do it to you.”

“But I cannot leave Bane here. I love him and he loves me, how can you let me get along with this. He should be together with me.” I said between my cries.

“Ow hunny. Bane knows you would say that and he said that he was happy knowing you and you will see him on summer again.”

“But-but I want him together with me mom.” I said crying hard. I feel empty knowing I wouldn’t see Bane too long. My heart just breaks knowing it.

“Stop it Gabby. I want you to go up there and change already. Enough with your yapping and stop crying be a man for once.” Dad said to me. I look taking aback and run upstairs and just lock myself. I still don’t want to leave here knowing Bane was not coming to me.

I just lock myself even when father bangs my door. “I won’t be going home without him.” I said to myself.

Sitting in the corner for some hours sulking over my problems. Soon I heard some tapping on the window, and again. I instantly open it and look down and there I saw the man that my heart was longing for. He climbs up and before he enters he instantly kisses me. He withdraws and a large smile came across his face. “Father already agrees to me coming along.” He said then lifts me up. I was shock but then smiled understanding it.

“What? How?” I ask to him.

“I stood on you Gab.” He said hugging me, he tightens it and then feel him sob. “I don’t want to lose you so I told father that if he still wont allow me I would be a rouge myself and just live like a normal human myself together with you.” He said tightening his hold on me.

“But you’re his heir, you will soon to be alpha of your clan.” I said and he nuzzles his face on my neck.

“Yeah, guess father realizes that I would do anything for you even if it’s my position in our clan, and with it he finally let me.” He said lifting me up while laughing.

“Really? Wow.. I need to tell my mom and dad about it.” I said and he nods.

“But still we need to go back here since my father was still our alpha.” he said and I too nods to him.

We got out of my room and saw everyone on the living room and were shock to see even Lucas together with Tanya. I didn’t know that they would get here too.

I came to my family side and so was Bane. His father looks at the two of us and Bane instantly grabs my hand. Mom and dad just sat along with everyone and was silent and just looking at Bane’s parents.

“I didn’t know you’ll be this stubborn.” Lucas said to Bane.

“I got it from you father.” He replies back and his father laughs before looking at me.

“Take care of him there Gab okay?” his father said to me and I nod knowing what he really means about taking care of his son.

“Father, how can you say that? I’m a lot more capable of taking care of myself you know.” Bane said and so his father laughs again.

Lucas came to me and patted my head and looks at my parents. “I’m sorry for my attitude lately. It’s just-.” He was cut off when father stands up and speaks.

“That’s alright, I know what it feels especially when Bane here asks for Gab too. Don’t worry we’ll take care of him and we will come back soon.” Dad said and brings his hands in front of him and Lucas grabs it and shook it.

“So it finally settles then.” said Bane’s mother.

“Yeah. Finally they put some sense on their heads.” Mom said and the two woman laughs.

Suddenly shadow came to me and barks, Jade following along smiling. Then again something pop out on my mind and ask Lucas. “Can we bring shadow too? I still want him close to me.” I said hoping Lucas would agree.

“Hmmm. Of course. I was really going to ask you that Gab. You should take care of him and seeing that pup always wants to be close to you and I don’t think that he will be like this lively if he will be back together with us.” He said rubbing shadows head and the pup barks at him happily.

“So now that we finally made everything clear. Gab, have you already packed your things?” dad said to me. I shook my head.

“No dad cause I was planning to be staying here with Bane but since this happens I suppose I need to do that now.” I said between my laugh. Dad nods and so is my mom.

I was about to head up bringing Bane with me but he didn’t move and then kiss me in front of all the people here. “I’ll see you then? I need to pack too now.” Bane said and together with his parent went out saying our good bye’s to them after he said he’ll be coming in the afternoon.

I look at them head back to their place and father signed. “I never really thought this would happen to you Gab.” He said to me and I look at him before looking down on my feet.

“Don’t worry Gab, I’m not disappointed and mad anymore as I’ve said I already accept you on what you become. I’m happy that you finally have someone who will always be there for you. Seeing that boy and his love for you really show.” Dad said and mom nod.

“Better pack those things upstairs hunny, we don’t want Romeo to wait longer when he gets back here right Gab?” mom said and I smiled to them.

It was exactly twelve in the afternoon when Bane come back and has a large bag on his back. He looks at me and smiled before coming over to me and kissed my head.

“Father said they wouldn’t be here since he has something to do back home.” I nod and smiled before hugging him and crashing my lips to him. I felt happy now that Bane would be coming together with me. I felt him smirk against our kiss and then we heard someone fake cough and saw dad. He just shrugs and walks away. Bane just laughs and I soon join him.

I came out after Bane and dad finally puts our bags in our car. I tried to help them but Bane just told me to be with Jade and shadow so that’s what I did. Soon we finished and so we finally say good bye to our grandparents.

“Good bye grandpa, grandma.” I said hugging them both. “Thank you for everything.” I said between my tears in my eyes. Grandma wipes it away and they smiled.

“Always be a good boy Gab okay?” I nod.

“I promised that we would come back here soon.” I said to both of them and they smiled and nods.

Grandpa looks at Bane. “Take care of him okay?” Bane nods and hugs them too.

“Don’t worry sir I would definitely do it. If you need anything father said to just ask him and they well help you on anything you need.” he said and they nod before we say goodbye to them. Mom and dad came to them together with Jade, thanking them too and saying their goodbyes.

We wave goodbye to them and we finally went to our destination together with Bane on my side and my family that’s really supportive of me. Gees this summer vacation really became an interesting one for me. From the moment that I came here to meeting the most wonderful guy that I’ve meet and now that I think of what happen between us. We finally won every battle and struggles along the way and still keeps a bond together not just between us but with the people that surrounds us.
