Chapter 23

CHAPTER 23

“You should get ready now, were going to my home.” Bane said looking down on me, where here at the living room watching a random show on TV.

I nod and tried to stand up but then he pulled me. “What?” I ask. And he just smiled.

“I’m just glad that you accepted me for what I am.” He suddenly busted out. I smiled and sat again next to him again.

“Of course Bane, it’s because I love you.” I said and the smiled on his face got wider.

“So what will happen a-after our o-official m-mating?” I ask looking embarrassed on my question and thinking about it made me nervous and yet a little excited.

“After that I will bring you here again as your father said to me. I just hope father would agree to what I’ll say about coming with you and bringing you back here.” He said.

“What? You’re not sure about it?” I busted suddenly that he covers his hand on his ears. I just shook my head and slap him on his arm.

“Ow. You really like to hurt me don’t you?” He said smirking that I eyed him sharply. “Okay, Okay, don’t worry I’ll make sure he would let us. I’ll just have to say it to him properly since it’s for the two of us and I think he would understand it.” he said.

“Good, because I still want to attend school. Wait for me here, I’ll just take a quick bath” I said then walk back up to my room.

After finishing taking my bath I was shock to see Bane inside my room shirtless and saw how his body looking amazing. Wide eye I stutter asking him. “W-what are y-you doing h-here? As I’ve told you that I would j-just take a quick bath.”

He just smirks and shook his head. “Sorry I just got bored watching TV and decided to come here instead. You should dress now so we can go to my home.” He said then lay down on my bed.

“Then go out so I could dress properly.” I eyed him but he pretends to not hear me, but the smirk on his face never leaves that I got irritated feeling cold already. I walk to him and tried to pull him up and bring him out of my room but his heavy and instead I was pulled down on him.

My eyes widen from the sudden contact of our chest since I was only wearing a towel and him just his jeans. He smirks when I blush and I tried to wiggle away from him but he held me close to him.

“You really smell good.” He said then he slither his arms on my back then on my lower waist that I thought he would rip my towel away. I again pulled and finally get off of him. He just smirks.

I blush but then I got annoyed when he laughs. “You’re really cute babe. I was just teasing you.” He said coming closer bringing his shirt and putting it on.  He pats my head and smiled seeing I’m still annoyed. “I love you.” He said then kissed my cheeks before going out of my room.

I just signed and quickly got dress. I came down and saw Bane and my parents talking, dad looks up to me. I smiled and he sighs. I just shook my head and then saw shadow on Bane’s arms.

“Where’s Jade? I ask seeing my sister was not insight.

“She’s asleep Gab, guess she got tired from playing.” Mom said and I nod and hug her.

“I’ll be going home soon, so take care of her for me ok?” I said and she nods.

“We should be going.” Bane said to me gripping my hands.

“Bring him in one piece or I’ll hunt you down if something wrong happens to him.” Dad said to Bane sharply that I just shook my head to the both of them.

“Ow just shut up dear. Bane here would really take care of him. Right Bane?” ask mom and Bane nods at her. But then saw my grandparents came down and I hug them both too.

“Thank you grandpa, grandma.” I said smiling to them.

“Take care Gab.” Grandpa said and looks at Bane. “Be careful of him okay?” and he nods.

I said goodbye to them and followed Bane together with shadow in his arms. “Why did we have to bring shadow there too?” I ask.

“Father has to see him too since the last time he sees him was when the time you found him.” He said and then I saw his motorbike again on the same spot where he always put it when I first went to their place.

“Here, hold shadow for me.” He said handing shadow to me already asleep.

I hop on his bike after he puts his helmet on me and started his engine. I told him to not drive fast since I’m holding the pup in my arms where he nods and drive slower, my other hand was around him while the other was on shadow.

Its almost getting dark when we came on the entrance of their cave and saw Grey leaning on it, guessing his waiting for us. But how did he know? But I guess its something to do with this lycan thing or whatever.

Bane stop and so I get off of his bike and Grey smiled to me that a blush form in my face.

“Hey, don’t smile on him Grey, your making him blush.” Bane said eyeing him. Gees, talk about being really possessive.

“We’ll it’s not my fault that he sees me that attractive too right Gab?” He said smirking at me. I look down not wanting to look at him any further. Then Bane patted my head before taking the helmet off my head. Why shouldn’t he just remove it instantly that he just need to pat my head first. I hissed and look at him, he then smirk and leaned down to kiss me on my lips with Grey watching us.

My eyes widen at the sudden kiss and we he pull away my face was flushed and I cant help but blush even more when he smirk at me and said to Grey the word “Mine” and so grey shook his head and Bane handed him his key of the bike.

“I’ll just go ahead of you since your mate don’t want someone looking at you. But welcome back Gab.” Grey said to me he didn’t let me speak cause he already zoomed inside of the cave entrance.

“You shouldn’t act like a kid Bane.” I said coming closer to him and he instantly puts his hand on my shoulder ushering me inside.

“I did not. I just don’t want other men smiled at you and why did you blush? I’m the one should’ve just seen you blushing and no one else should.” He said to me that he earns a pinch on his side.

“Whatever.” I signed and walks ahead of him heading for the mansion on the small hill. I just walk together with the sleeping shadow in my hand.

He came to me again and wraps his protective hand on me. “I’m sorry, I just can’t help to be protective of you.” He said ushering me forward.

“Fine.” I said smiling to him and knowing how he’s overprotective of me.

When we came nearer the house I saw that the people were crowding again when they saw us. Kids too would approach me looking very intrigue at what they see. Knowing that they must be curious of me too. I just snuggled closer to Bane and him holding me tighter. “Don’t worry they wont hurt you, they are just curious because you’re the first human to step here.” He said.

When we came to their mansion I’m glad that every one was not following us anymore. I really feel scared when they follow us after they saw me walking to Bane’s home.

Bane tried to open gate when someone instantly jumps on his back and I saw Lovell saying how long his brother didn’t went home. “Get off me you little runt.” said Bane to her that I can’t help but to laugh of the sight of the two of them.

“Ow. Hi Gab, welcome back.” Lovell said getting down on Bane’s back and coming closer to me and seeing shadow she pats his head. “Nice, guess the pup really like you huh? Knowing him he didn’t want anyone closer to him including myself, he would just always snarl when I approach him. Like gees I’m not doing bad to him or some-.”

“Lovell could you please let us in first?” Bane said interrupting her sister and she eyed him sharply that Bane just rolled his eyes then she looks back to me and smiled.

“Of course. Come in Gab.” Lovell said sweetly to me that I again laugh because of switching her attitude towards Bane and me quickly.

We came inside and saw Tanya, Bane’s mom coming out of the kitchen with apron wrap around his body.

“We’ll hello there Gab, finally you two came. Lovell tell you father about the two lovebirds here.” She said happily and I instantly blush on what she said about me and Bane.

“Where’s Grey? He should be here first since he drove back my bike.” He said pulling me together with him on their couch.

“Yes, his already here dear, His together with your father. Guess I need to finish cooking the meal, I don’t want to burn that one up since Gab was here.” She said leaving us together.

“Your mother’s really sweet.” I said to Bane and he nods while smirking at me. I just lay shadow on the couch when Bane snake his hand on my waist.

When suddenly someone speak and saw Lucas and Gey together with Lovell. “Glad you could make it Gab.”

“It’s a pleasure sir.” I said looking down on him and again the feeling of getting nervous in front of him was again coming to me.

He pats my head and when I look up I saw him smiled looking at Bane. “You really impresses me son for having Gab here.” Bane just smirks back and pulled me closer to him.

He looks down on shadow on my hand and patted his head. He woke up and then barks at him but then he lifts shadow up. “Nice, the pup was now more heavy and have strong build. How did you take care of him Gab?” He asks.

“I just take really good care of him sir.” I said to Lucas. He smiled and again patted my head.

“Good. Why don’t you three go to your mother together with Gab and shadow? I’ll be taking this one to the other dominates, I think they too will be shock seeing this.” He said. Shadow whimpered looking at me and I tried to get him but Bane whispers to me that it’ll be alright, so I just come along with the three siblings to their dinning room.

Where here on their large table again together with some other men that I’ve not seen here. The table was full of different kinds of food that I didn’t really know. Bane was on my side and Grey and Lovell sat across from us, shadow was already here when Lucas return and handing him to me again. Shadow was on my lap leaning on the table. I just hold him not wanting him to jump on the table.

I saw some of them look at me and then telling something to Lucas then he will look at me and just smile.

I tap Bane’s arm and lean a little and he leans to me too then my eyes widen when he was about to kiss me in front of them so I instantly block his lips. “What are you doing?” I whispered yell asking him.

“What? I want to kiss you, why did you tap me and lean first to me? I know you can’t help but wanting me.” He said that I blush and pinch his side. I just shook my head and whispered to him again.

“It’s not that, I just want to ask about the other men together with your father.” I said looking at the six men including Lucas.

“Them? They were just another high rank dominates here, don’t worry they’ll not harm you babe. I’m here.” He said snaking his arms on my waist that I just again earn another blush and him smirking on me.

We start eating together with them and again Bane serving me and putting some food on my plate. I just let him seeing I can’t stop him. He would say that I need it to gain some weight.

I just rolled my eyes and give shadow some meat again seeing his plate was almost empty. Bane gave him a small plate before we eat and putting it to the other chair on my side where shadow was yipping excitedly.

“So you’re Gab?” said a man beside Lucas. I nod and look down to him since his looking at me with curiosity on his eyes. “Nice, even his human he definitely knows how to respect dominates.”

Bane instantly grip on me tighter, while patting my head. I look at him and he smiled. The men were talking to Lucas during the meal and when I finished eating and finally stopping Bane from putting food on my plate. Shadow was now laid on my lap looking sleepy after the meal.

“Bane, Gab. I’ll talk to you later okay? We men just need something to discuss.” Lucas said standing up together with the rest of the men.

“Who are those men? They really look so intimidating and all.” I said.

The three laughs and so Tanya came close to me grabbing the now sleeping form of shadow. “Don’t worry honey you’ll understand it afterwards. Grey, Lovell why don’t you two join your brother going to your father’s office.” She said walking with shadow away.

We walk on the large mansion and seeing the top floor of it and I still can’t believe that I was here. I’m really amazed on the paintings hanging on every wall. The three just let me look at every painting that we pass and then Bane suddenly holds my hand when passing a large door. I mean a really large double door. He open’s it and gesture for me to enter.

“Whoa. This room was awesome.” I said looking everywhere seeing antiques and all looking all expensive. I mean how could they afford all of these?

“Really? I never thought you’ll say that seeing this room was boring to me because of dad’s interest in antiques and such old things.” Lovell said sitting on the sofa on the side together with Grey who just nod’s with her and Bane pulling me along with them.

“It’s not, antiques have stories behind them you know and its really awesome thinking like that painting has a story to be told regarding it.” I said getting up and looking at it more closely but then the door open and Lucas came inside.

Grey and Lovell stand up and pat my head smiling to me before going out of the room. Bane again grabs my hand and we sat in front of his father when he started to talk.

“So, I guess you know what we really are Gab?” I nod.

“Yes sir and even grandpa told me about it.” I said and he nod.

“I’m really glad Tom was never against it. He really must be proud of you to be able to become Bane’s mate.” He said.

“Yes father but his dad was against me knowing that I was a lycan.” Bane said.

“What? Why didn’t you say that to me?” Lucas said to Bane.

“Don’t worry sir my dad accepted us now after Bane and I talk to him.” I said and he calm down.

He signed and smiled. “Good to hear that, guess I need to talk to him. No but both of your parents after your official mating. Bane I want you two to do it tonight.” Lucas said and Bane nod.

“Don’t worry father Gab already knew about it right babe?” He said so I nod and look down.

“Y-yes sir.” I said

“Good. Better go to your room then for Gab to have a rest already, he needs it for your official mating tomorrow.” Lucas said. “And Gab, welcome to the clan.” He said coming over to me and patted my head. I look up and saw him smiling on me that I can’t help but smile too and nod.

“Good night father.” Bane said and he walks me out of the room.

"Good night sir." he nods to me before we finally leave the room.
