CHAPTER 17

Bane didn’t come after the day he said goodbye to me and I’m starting to get worried to him. But I have my hands full on this day remembering this was the day that my parents would return together with our uncle Ben and his family.

It’s already one in the afternoon and grandpa had a call to my mother saying that they were already near their house and after forty minutes of waiting and just watching random shows on TV I heard the door bell rings.

I went to open it and was shock when someone hugs me quickly. It was mom and I look up and saw dad and my uncle behind him and together with his family behind.

“Hi mom, Dad.” I said and hug her too. She pulled away and smiled.

“Gab how are you? Where’s Jade and your grandparents?” said dad to me and hugging me too.

“I’m fine dad and they’re inside.” I said and gesture all of them to come inside. Mom tells me about how she misses Jade and me. And dad was talking to my uncle about some business I think after he greets me.

We entered the room and when Jade saw us she instantly ran on our parents and cried. Guess she totally misses them. While my grandparents came to uncle Ben hugging him, aunt Mary and our twin cousins.

“Thank you mom, dad for taking care of Gab and Jade” said dad, mom was still soothing Jade, calming her down she didn’t let go from her.

“That’s ok son.” Grandpa smiled to him.

“They were such good children, even helping me on my daily chores.” said grandma. I smiled and dad patted my head.

My uncle and aunt came upstairs setting their things in a room grandpa told them excusing themselves & leaving the twins in grandma’s arms.

Shadow came to me and barks at my parents and the twins, seeing them for the first time. I pick him up and rub his head.

“What have we had here?” said dad rubbing shadows head. He smiled to him and shadow wags his tail on him.

“We found him outside the house on our second day here and so I brought him in.” I said putting shadow down.

Michael and Mason the twin who’s around the age of Jade came to me and down to shadow. Shadow look up to them and bark playfully while wagging his tail.

“Can we play together with him Gab?” said Mason and Michael smiled at the pup

Then Jade came to them and hugs shadow.

“No! I don’t want shadow play with you two. He’ll play with me” she said. The two boys just shook their heads.

“Come on Jade, don’t be like that. We want to play with him too.” Michael said reaching for the pup. Gees she’s protective of shadow. I just shook my head.

So I said to Jade that it’s ok that they can play with them and call me if something went wrong, she nods and call shadow up and goes out, the twins just followed her and shadow outside.

It was five in the afternoon when I called the four small animals and I saw them laughing and Jade running to shadow. I called them telling that uncle Ben was looking for them, they stood and nods then came inside, I went to Jade and pulled shadow up wagging his tail on me and licking my arm when I grab him.

“Let’s go inside Jade. Mom was looking for you.” She nods and telling things that they do together with Michael and Mason. I just laugh at her.

During dinner the grow ups just keep on talking about things that’s concerning some business or something like that, I just eat quietly and looking down for shadow eating beside me. He would bark and I would smile handing him another piece of meat. Guess he really like today’s meal that grandma and I made. (Hahaha. I’m proud that I help prepared the meal, even if it’s just cutting the meats and peeling the veggies. Lol.)

This is it, I told myself, after dinner I told mom and dad that I have an important thing to say they ask and I said to tell it privately. I look at Grandpa he noticed me and nods to me. He too came together with us. Glad grandpa would help me in this.

So here we are at my room cause the twins and Jade was in the living room together with my uncle watching TV, while my grandma and aunt was washing the dishes. Tomorrow our other relatives would be coming here and we’ll have our reunion held here, we do it every year that it became our tradition to do it in my grandparent’s house.

“So what were you going to tell us son?” said dad smiling at me. I look down on my lap and can’t seem to put my words on it and I then feel the tears beginning to form on my eyes, mom instantly came to my side and hugged me.

“What wrong hunny? Why are you crying?” She asks worriedly.

“Mom. I love him.” I said between my cries. She look shock and taken back by my outburst.

“What are you talking about Gab?” dad said coming to my side.

“Bane, I don’t want to loose him. Please, let him and me together.” I said.

“What the hell are you talking about Gab? And who’s this Bane your saying? Tell us clearly so we can understand it.” Dad said. I nod but grandpa said the words for me seeing I still can’t say it.

“Gab and Bane are mates.” He bluntly said no caring what my parents would say.

“What? What mates?” they ask looking at him.

“What are you two? Questioning that to me, haven’t I told you about lycan’s? or you don’t remember that they exist?” grandpa said.

“You mean this Bane was a lycan and choose you as his mate?” dad raise to his feet with a loud voice saying it to me. I nod at him while mom just shook her head while rubbing my back soothing me.

“I can’t believe this, this is insane. Do you know what they really are Gab?” dad said, I just again nod.

“How could you let this happen dad?” dad said to grandpa.

He shook his head. “You can’t change it son, it’s already destined among mates even I can’t do anything about it.” grandpa said.

“What? But why didn’t you say this sooner? So that we could do something to prevent this.” Dad said anger was on his words.

“No. we shouldn’t mess with it, as I’ve said it’s destined.” Grandpa said sternly.

“That’s it. This is too far. I don’t want my child turning one of those monsters.” He pointed out that I instantly cringe upon hearing that to him.

“But aren’t you being hard on this son? You don’t need to work out on this, Bane was a good boy. I’ve known him and seeing that boy I know that he would take care of your son well.” said grandpa.

“Are you really saying its fine if your grandson would turn into those beast? Are you really out of your mind dad?” dad said to grandpa.

“There’s nothing wrong on that, and don’t call them beast or monster’s.” said grandpa rubbing his temples.

“I don’t care. I don’t like their kind. End of it.” said dad and looks to me. “Your not going to see that lycan again, even if it’s locking you here until came home.” He said and walks out of my room fuming with anger. Mom patted my shoulder.

“I’ll talk to you about this tomorrow ok? I need to know how this happened.” She said getting on her feet and off following dad.

“It’ll be ok Gab, I’ll talk to him again, don’t worry. I guess he’s just shock knowing it.” grandpa said patting my head and so I nod. Then he left the room too leaving me alone. I lay down on my bed crying on my pillow then shadow came to my room.

He came to my face stained with tears. I grab him and hug him to me, I cried with shadow beside me and the pup would whimper beside me and licking my tears away and I didn’t even remember that I gotten asleep on my tears.

I was woken up by the sound of something tapping on my window. I saw shadow curled up in a ball beside me and he whimpered when I stand up but I instantly patted his body avoiding waking him up.

I open my curtains and saw how the moon shines on me and again heard a tapping sound on my window, opening it I then was shock to see Bane and he enters. He smiled and I instantly hug him crying on him.

“Babe what’s wrong? Why are you crying?” he said worriedly rubbing my head. I shook my head and hug him tightly, I cried on him and him rubbing my back. Soothing me and saying that it’s going to be all right and that he’s here for me, I just cling on him and crying on his chest.

After a while I calmed down and wiped my swollen eyes. I withdraw from hugging him still wiping my eyes and I look down but the tears was treating to form on my eyes again.

“What happen Gab?” he said softly bringing me to my bed so we sat and I told him what happen when grandpa told them about us. He pulled me to him and I again started crying and him soothing me.

“Shhhh.. don’t cry.” said Bane he pull my head up looking at him and he wipes away the tears in my eyes.

“It will be alright, I promise that.” He said kissing me quickly and laying me down to bed.

“Promise? Don’t leave me ok?” I said grabbing his hand. He too lay on bed together with me and shadow, bringing my blanket on us. We lay there together in silence him rubbing my hair while kissing it. And we just stay like that and I didn’t notice that I was again fallen asleep.

so like this was really the title really is base.. how would Bane and Gab deal this situation. the next chapters would be intense. seeing his father was against Bane and all. how would he accept it? well better read the next chapters. even i was still thinking about it..ahahaha..but i already have something in mind just need to get it all together...ahaha..

and guys do you like some love making on this story? i really dont know how to make one.ahahaha.. just vote or comment if you want one.. i will try my very best  to make one if that will make this story more interesting to read.
