Chapter 13

ahaha...cant believe i finished this one and starting the next chapter already that i feel that my hands has a mind on its own and myself just read and editing it at the same time..ahahaha..lol..

CHAPTER 13

It’s been a while since we arrived and the night falls fast that we didn’t even notice its already getting dark.

Where here at their living room chatting and laughing at our silly lines. Hanging out and knowing Grey and Lovell more, Bane never leaves my side and always in a protective manner that Lovell and Grey would tease me about having a protective man on my side. I just blush at them and Bane would totally spat at them to not mess with me, they just stop but then tease us again.

“Oh shut up Bane. We just like to see him blushing, its just totally cute when he blush you know.” Said Lovell smirking at me. I just couldn’t help it. Grey just nod and smirk at me too. Why on earth does this people keep on teasing me? But then glad that maybe they’re doing this for me to relax a bit.

They told me that we’d all be having a dinner after their work together with their parents and the moment when I heard that I can’t help but feel the nerved coming back.

A beautiful woman came to us and Lovell and Grey stand up and greet her, they hug them both then she look at Bane and me and a smiled creeps on his lips. I look at her shyly then Bane stands up and I too take my stand.

He looks back at me then he smiled, grabbing my hand and he gently pulls me to his side.

“Glad you could make it, I’m guessing your Gab.” She said then hugged me too. I was shock and didn’t know what to do so I awkwardly hug her slightly.

“I’m Tanya, Bane’s mother, nice to finally meet you Gab.” As she told me that my mouth hangs open. She was her mother? I can’t really imagine it, she really looks young that she looks rather like her older sister or something.

“Wow. I though that you’re their older sister.” I said still amazed at her.

Tanya smiled widely. “Well thank you Gab, Gees I think Lucas would laugh when he heard you said that to me.” I’m guessing that’s her husband.

Then the three just burst on laughing. She was nice and funny that I totally forgot the nerves. And seeing that she was ok with me gives me that loving feeling about her that I instantly miss own my mother.

“Bane, why don’t you bring Gab together with your siblings on the table already, I’ll call your father upstairs, knowing him I guess he’s just finishing something before coming down.”

Bane nods and still grabbing my hand, together with Grey and Lovell we went inside a large room with a large rectangular table, I mean really large like it could seat up to 20 people considering the seats placed on it. And it’s already packed with foods and well prepared. And I was tempted to eat already.

Bane came to the seat on the left and pulls back the chair and gestures me there to sit down, he smiled lovingly so I can’t help but go along with him. I really feel like a girl now, ever since we left at my grandparent’s house he totally treated me like a girl.

The two sat on the other side across from us laughing at Bane and me, Bane then eyed them and shut them up. I just grinned seeing the two shut up, but then the two burst out and just keeps on laughing and Bane just rolled his eyes.

They leave a seat near the center seat. Guessing that’s for their mother and the center seat is for their father.

I keep looking at the foods that are really new to me and ask Bane about the one that I’m pointing. He told me that its roast lamb chops.

“Really? I haven’t eaten any of it yet.” I said. He smiled and tried to get one from me.

“No, I’m not yet that hungry, its just it looks good.” I said. “And besides we should wait for your parents.” Then the two agreed to me.

“You should listen to him Bane. And aren’t mother always tells you to wait for us to the table before you eat?” Grey asks.

“Yeah. Lately you ate ahead of us and go somewhere more important.” Lovell eyed me then she smirk.

“Why? I really want to see someone important that I need to go out instantly” then he look at me smiling that made me blush and look away. I have a guess that he was referring to me.

Then the door open’s up and Tanya came smiling together with a man holding her arm. She smiled when she us all together and she said something to the man.

He was a huge guy with tone muscles and with a jet-black hair that’s similar with Bane and Grey he looks handsome and strong, guessing that it was Bane’s father.

My though really are indeed correct that having good looks run on their family.

He looks at me and I feel intimidated by his presence. Like the feeling when I came to his door before. And the nerves coming back to me that I look down on my lap and tries to relax myself again.

Bane grabs my hand and when I look up I saw him smiled and said that it’ll be fine.

The couple came to us and I grip Bane’s arm because of the nervous in me. I can’t quite tell why I feel that way on his father and this house, I really feel small right now.

We stand and Bane’s father greeted his son’s and daughter. When I look up I saw he was still looking at me. I look at Bane and he instantly greeted his father.

“Hi father.” Said Bane.

“Welcome home son” he said then looks at me. “I’m guessing you’re Gab?” I nod at him still looking down.

I was shock when he pat my head that made me cringed a little and when I look up I saw him smiling at me.

“I’m Lucas, Bane’s father.” He said still smiling at me.

“I’m G-Gab s-sir.” I said without thinking and stuttering that I forgot that he knew me already.

“I’m glad you could make it.” I just nod again and we sit down. I sense the three siblings seem more at ease and a bit shock especially Bane when he saw his father smiled to me. But his mother has that smile on her face and didn’t seem to be in shock to her husband other than the three.

I smiled and the nerves was brushing away when Lucas said that he knows my grandpa and grandma and said that he would one day go to our house and have a visit to them and to thank my grandparents. For what? I thought, I better ask them that.

We started our dinner and Bane puts food on my plate and after I finish eating it he’ll put another one. Even when he was talking to his father about matters that I didn’t know he’ll just grab one and give it to me. I feel ashamed on him doing that and just tries to tell him but his talking to his father at that time.

“I really can do it myself” I murmured. But he still do it, guess he didn’t hear me, so I just pout when he do it again.

His father then would smile widely and his mother and siblings would laugh at him.

“What was funny?” ask Bane. When he puts another food on my plate on the third time. I was full already but he still puts it on my plate.

“You.” Grey pointedly at Bane. He just looks confused and the rest just laugh while I keep on pouting.

“What? Why?” his mother just rolled her eyes and his father just smirk.

“Well, it’s the fact that you’re treating your girlfriend here like a princess.” Said Lovell that made me red completely. Then the family laughs.

I then pinch the side of Bane and he cried on pain.

“Ow! What’s that for?” he said rubbing his side. That made the family laughs harder.

“Hahaha. You two are so cute.” Said their mother.

We finished our meal and I excused myself on the restroom to wash my hand. Bane was about to come along with me but then I just ask him where it was, he insisted but I just told him that I’ll be fine. Then his family laughs again especially Grey.

“Gees Bane you’re totally possessive over him. Just be cool man his just going to wash his hands off.”  Said Grey before I came to the bathroom.

I came to the restroom and my phones started to ring, I pick it up and saw grandpa calling me.

“How are you doing there Gab? Was his family treating you well?” grandpa asks.

“Yes grandpa. They’re nice people.” I said.

“Hmmm. Good, be home early ok? I need to tell you something.”

“Yes grandpa.” I said and ended the call.

I open the door and was shock to see Bane on the wall looking deep in thought, I called him but he didn’t seems to hear me so I came to his side and shout his name.

“W-what?” he said then looks at me.

“What are you thinking? Your deep in thought that you didn’t even see me came out.”

“I’m sorry, I just have something in mind.” He said then signed.

“Come, we better go back” he said and grabs my arm.

We came back and saw his family chatting. Bane and I sat on our chairs and the rest of it all was me on their topic, knowing my family and my grandparents. I look at Bane, I still feel that something was bothering him, seeing his being quiet all of a sudden. I wonder what his thinking?
