Chapter 11

so here it is, as ive said..chapter eleven and back to Gab's POV, hope you'll like this one..dedicated to all of my readers..^^..

CHAPTER 11

***BACK TO GABS POV***

It’s been a week since I didn’t see Bane around, I thought that I can see him again the day after our hanging out, I guess I’m wrong on that part, but why didn’t I see him?

I always go to the big tree together with shadow and waited an hour or so just to wait if he would come there but he never did, was he just playing on me?

Now that I really know what I feel for him I want to see him and talk to him, but why aren’t he coming? Or worst maybe he didn’t want to see me anymore.

“You’re over reacting.” said a voice in my mind.

Maybe it’s true, that I’m just over reacting or maybe something went wrong after he came home, since he walks back home inside the woods.

Panic came on my mind after thinking about it then perhaps I’m just over reacting again.

I sign looking at the clear sky together with shadow resting on the tree that Bane and I would always meet up, I look down at shadow whose sleeping at my arms curled up into a ball.

He really likes to cuddle up to me, I’ve taking my time texting with two of my best friends, lately they were hard to contact with and after I contact them they talk to me especially Tina asking about Bane and the girl really was happy about it, telling me things I should and shouldn’t do.

That I should always look good in front of him. Gees, talk about over reacting I mean I don’t even know what the boy that well, if he really likes me and feels the same way with me then he will accept me.

After a while realizing that he will not come again today I stand up and then shadow wiggled off me and open his eyes, I put him down and he stretch his body and bark after seeing me while wiggling his tail.

I ruffled his head and pick him up again. I started walking home, I took a short cut inside the forest again considering its still mid afternoon.

Soon I came near the house but shadow instantly wiggled his body out of my hands and came running on the opposite way.

I followed him calling his name considering his going on the forest that our grandma told us not to go, but I need to find shadow since there were wild animals and remembering the encounter of the larger wolves inside of it scare the hell out of me but I cant leave shadow there.

I called shadow but he didn’t show up so I walk into the woods looking back so I could still see the house.

My sister and grandparents were in town I didn’t go cause I keep going to the big tree hoping to see Bane, but now that I think about it I better should’ve just come together with them in town.

I keep on going deeper inside the woods still looking back on our house and not thinking about what I’m walking and calling for shadow.

I can’t help it, I’m scared that any moment a wolf may show up again. But then I feel like there was someone or better yet something was looking at me. And panic started to creep inside of me.

I felt my hairs on my body standing up while looking around still walking and calling shadow and then I hit something hard that made me fall down on my butt.

“Ouch!” I look up and saw the guy that’s always came up to my mind.

He smirk and instantly blushed seeing him again, I look to what his holding and saw the pup that made me go to this woods.

Bane held his arms to me, I grab it and he helps me to my feet.

He handed me shadow and said “long time no see, I see your still looking great.” he said.

I smiled “you too” I said blushing looking at him, his wearing a nice shirt with again only a shorts.

Then realized something. “Why on earth are you here? Inside of these woods? Grandpa said that we should not be here since this side of the woods are dangerous and why didn’t you showing up lately? I’ve been waiting for you for the whole week.” then it hit me on what I’ve just said, I talk like a desperate girlfriend or something asking about his man.

I look away from him blushing hard, but when I look back I saw him smirking and came close to my side hugging me on my shoulder.

“I’m sorry, it’s just that there are something that I needed to do and a problem that needed to be solved.”

I look at him and was shock to see how close his face to me, I instantly look down to shadow whose looking up at Bane and I thought I hear him growl a little then Bane instantly kissed me on my cheek looking at me then shadow laughing on us.

He looks up thinking about something then said, “Gab, are you free tomorrow night?”

I look to him confused, because isn’t it strange that after not showing up for a week he’s asking me that same question again?

“Why?” I ask, he look to me and smiled I instantly look away again blushing as usual.

Gees, I’m really becoming a girl when I’m with him I can’t keep my blush or shyness away and seeing those dark eyes and his face I can’t help it.

He came closer again hugging me together with shadow.

“My family wants to see you and talk to you.” he said.

I pulled away looking shock.

WTF? What? Why? I ask to myself then to him.

“What? Why?”

I don’t understand I mean I don’t really want to act like a girl or something but isn’t it weird? I mean I really like Bane that’s for sure but we don’t know each other very well and we just met but why all of a sudden? Isn’t it too early? I don’t understand.

“As what I’ve said they just want to see and talk to you, meet you. I told them about you.”

“B-But why would they want to meet me? And why are you telling them about me?” I ask, he smiled hugging me closer.

“It’s because I like you and I can’t help it when I didn’t see you often, I want to see you everyday, hold you like this, to be closer to you, and when I told them about you they wanted to see you so they ask me that.” he pulled away to me and ask again.

“Please? They really want to meet you, don’t worry I’ll always be there with you.” he said while smiling and waiting for my answer.

I signed “Ok. Fine.” I said while pouting, he hissed a little and he hug me and lifted me up me happily.

“Thank you. Thank you.” he said while smiling and smiling at me.

“But I have a favor to ask.” I said.

“Sure. What is it?” ask Bane.

“I want you to ask my grandparents for me too, because I don’t want them to worry with me when I go out and came home late just like last time” I said pointing at the house that’s in the open.

He nods and smiled “of course! I can deal with that.”

He grabs my hand and we started to walk to my grandparent’s house and seeing lights are on, I guess they already arrived.

We came to the porch and the smell of fried chicken instantly hit me, well don’t ask why I smell it, cause I’m already hungry, thinking I haven’t eaten anything after lunch.

My stomach grumbled and I knock on the door and the very energetic little sister of mine greeted me.

“Welcome home Gab.” I crouch putting shadow down and the dog wag its tail to Jade and bark excitedly to her.

“I missed you to shadow” she said smiling, patting shadow’s head.

I smiled to both of them then we hear someone cough.

We both look back and saw Bane. He smiled to both of us that I can’t leave my eyes to his handsome face.

“Wow! Mister are you a model?” Jade asks.

He laughs and I too laugh on what she said, “no little miss, I’m-”

Bane looks to me and smiled, why did he suddenly look to me?

“I’m your brothers friend but soon I’ll be your brother too.” he smirk then to me.

I look away blushing really hard. Well I don’t see that one coming from him, what’s that supposed to mean? I think to myself.

We went inside but Jade still looks at Bane and seeing Jade seems to like him already.

“What’s your name?” Jade ask smiling.

“I’m Bane. You little miss?” he asks.

“I’m Jade” she said while looking up at him.

“Cute name for a cute little lady.” Jade blush and I laugh.

Bane really knows how to make a girl blush even Jade here.

”Jade is your brother home already?” ask grandma coming out of the doorway of the dinning area. She saw us together with Bane.

“Ow. You brought a  friend here.” she smiled to us.

“Grandma, this is Bane he lives nearby.”

“Nice to meet you Bane. Care to join us to dinner then? Since its time for dinner already and I’m glad Gab here has found a new friend here” she said.

We followed her together with Jade and shadow running to the dining room and see grandpa, he welcomed Bane and told us to sit down.

We sat on the side, grandpa was the middle Jade and grandma on his left and Bane and I we’re on his right and saw not only fried chicken but also different kinds of dishes.

“So what’s the occasion here?” I said seeing the table.

“Nothing much we just what to celebrate our anniversary to our grandson and granddaughter” grandma said.

I smiled seeing how they still celebrated their love for each other.

“Ow. Wow. Happy anniversary grandma, grandpa” I said.

“Happy anniversary ma’am, sir” Bane said smiling to them both.

“Thank you son. You have a good friend here Gab.”

I smiled looking at Bane and to see that he was looking at me smiling too.

“What’s an anniversary?” Jade asks instantly.

“Jade it’s were couples celebrated every year together and loving one another on that specific day, especially on a married couples.” I said.

“Ow. Happy anniversary too grandpa, grandma.” she stood up then hug them both, then she sit and grandpa lead the prayer before we eat.

During dinner the happy couple talk to us about their times being together and telling me and Bane that we should find a loving partner too, a caring and loving one another to have a lasting relationship like they have.

And Bane just nods to them while looking at me, I just ignored him and just focus on our dinner and what my grandparents was telling us.

I can’t tell if they are lecturing us or what, Jade on the other hand just eat her meal and looking at shadow eating chicken.

I think she missed him considering the pup always like to be with me but now I guess shadow is in the mood to play with her.

I always see Bane looking at me and when I notice that he’ll smile at me and I’ll look away blushing while finishing my meal.

There are also times when he bumps my knees with his, and when I look at him then he’ll smirk, why did this guy torturing me?

We finished our meal on just hanging out, grandma and grandpa talked, while Jade play with shadow and Bane and I also talk about his family.

I learned lots of things about him, about his siblings and family, I also learned about what he likes and vice versa.

Grandma looked at the table and saw that her cooked meals was already done, I mean totally, all of it was eaten.

She smiled “I’m glad everyone loved what I’ve cooked” she said.

“Of course dear you cook well” grandpa said.

“Yes ma’am, I really ate a lot of it I can’t help it, its really good.”

“I’m glad you like it Bane” she said.

Shadow bark “thank you too for the compliment shadow dear.” grandma said to shadow smiling.

We all laugh and I help grandma cleaning the dishes leaving grandpa and the rest.

After washing the dishes I came out and saw Bane carrying shadow sleeping on his arms, where’s grandma and grandpa? I ask him.

“They went upstairs together with Jade and I already ask you out about for tomorrow’s meeting with my parents and they agreed and said that I should bring you home early.”

“Ow good” I come closer to him.

“He really likes you too didn’t he?” I said pointing at shadow.

He smiled “I know. So were should we lay him down properly?” he said

I tried to grab shadow but Bane told me not to and that he should do it, I just nod and gesture him to my room where shadow always sleep.

We entered my room and he put shadow down on the bed.

“Nice room, I love the smell of it” I look at him strangely and he sat on the edge putting shadow down and rubbing shadows fur I came across of him and look at shadow, then I remembered the incident when a wolf attacked us both.

“What are you thinking?” asks Bane, I signed.

“Well I-I don’t know if you would believe me but last week after our hang out I came home and before we came to the clearing I was attacked by a large wolf. I mean a really large wolf.”

“A large wolf?” He asks.

“Yes, a large wolf that’s strange to hear but really I though that it would kill me but shadow stop that grey wolf but the wolf tried to kill him too, but I was glad that something suddenly came to rescue us, but as I was again stun to see it was another wolf a black one and much bigger it defeated the other wolf and leaving us together with the black wolf.” I told him.

“Really? Is he good? I mean the black wolf?” he asks.

“I don’t know but I think so since he defeated the other one. I got scared to that part I thought that it would kill us and ear us for himself but it didn’t and just walk away after it lick my face and I think I saw it smirk too, strange as it may seem but I really saw it smirk.” He just laughs and I shushed him out since shadow was already sleeping.

We got out of the room and out of the house this late at night. We didn’t pay attention at the time that it’s really late when we got out.

“Are you sure you’ll be okay?” I ask concern about him going home at this hour of the night.

“Yeah don’t worry ill be ok, you need to rest now, seeing you looked tired” he said, I just nod and he smiled to me patting my head, I smiled back to him then he come close and leaned down to me to captured my lips, we kissed passionately and then he pulled away gently, I’m still in a dazed on our kiss and when I open my eyes, I look at him then he kissed me again.

A smack this time and he walk on the opening of the woods, he waved back and smiled lovingly at me I blushed and smiled at him touching my lips, and then I waved back telling him to be careful and then his off.

I came home and went to bed seeing shadow sleeping peacefully. I keep on thinking about what would happen tomorrow meeting his family. I hope they would be like him cause it’s the first time that I would meet a family of a guy.

Then a voice instantly pop in my mind “don’t be a girl Gab and be a man for once, just go with the flow.” my mind said so I closed my eyes, after awhile I fell asleep.
