Chapter 21

Falling For The Bad Boys

TAYLA

I stood under the warm water in Walker’s shower, shaking my head in disbelief.

I was still reeling.

I’d never experienced an orgasm that intense before, and the fact that it happened while I was fucking Hayden and Walker watched was something I’d never even considered before.

But that was then.

This was now!

I was starting to appreciate this new version of myself.

Or maybe it was Walker and Hayden who were revealing a darker side of me I didn’t know existed?

Whatever the reason, I was definitely reaping the rewards.

Once I was clean, I stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around myself, heading back into the bedroom.

My clothes were neatly folded on the bed. I wondered who had done that?

I dried off and got dressed before making my way to the kitchen.

Walker was at the stove, cooking something, and Hayden was on a laptop.

They both looked up and smiled as I entered.

“How are you doing, baby girl?” Hayden asked.

“Good.”

I hopped onto a stool and yawned, which made Hayden chuckle.

“Hope you like stir fry?” Walker asked.

A cell phone rang, and Hayden answered it.

“Logan is asking for you at the gate again,” he told me.

I rolled my eyes and hopped off the stool.

I walked outside and down to the gate where Logan was pacing.

“I thought you were at your cleaning job today?” he asked as I approached.

“I am.”

He frowned at me.

“You’re cleaning for them now?”

I nodded.

He gritted his teeth.

“Why aren’t you taking my phone with you anymore?”

“I have a new one now,” I told him.

“Let me guess? Courtesy of Raffiel?” he said with a sarcastic tone.

“What’s your problem with them? I need the money for rent and that’s what I’m doing,” I told him.

“Really? Is that it?”

I nodded.

“You don’t understand who these people are, Tayla! Your mother will be furious,” he said.

“For cleaning the house for money to pay your mortgage, right?” I shot back.

“Can you look me in the eye and tell me that you’re not at least fucking either of them?”

My mouth fell open.

“What the fuck does it matter to you!” I said, my voice rising in anger.

“You’ll only get hurt if you do,” Logan warned.

“You don’t know anything,” I said, shaking my head.

“I know the Raffiel better than you do, Tayla. Trust me, they’re bad news.”

“How? How do you know that?”

Logan moved closer to the gate and lowered his voice.

“Because I do special deliveries on the side for them to make ends meet.”

“Special deliveries?” I asked, confused.

“Drugs,” he whispered.

My mouth fell open.

“They’re not as innocent as you might think,” he told me.

I frowned and moved closer to the gate.

“I never thought they were innocent,” I told him.

I knew they were bad boys, but how bad?

“Just be careful. Are you finished? You want a lift back?”

I shook my head.

“I’ll be home later,” I said firmly.

I turned and walked back to the house, mulling over what he had just told me.

Back in the kitchen, Walker was placing our food on the island when I walked in.

“Everything alright?” he asked me.

“Do you deal drugs?” I blurted out.

Hayden looked up at me while Walker frowned.

“Yes,” he answered.

“Do either of you take them?”

“No.”

“Do you sell them to kids?”

“No.”

I shrugged my shoulders and hopped back onto the stool.

Walker and Hayden exchanged glances and then we started to eat.

“Do you actually need me to clean here tomorrow by any chance?” I asked.

“That would be great. There’s a mountain of laundry to do,” said Walker.

“The games room needs dusting too,” said Hayden.

“Okay. I’ll be here by ten.”

Walker nodded.

Once we finished eating, I took the plates over to the sink and washed them up before drying them.

“So which town did you move from, Tayla?” asked Hayden.

“Vinehall. It’s a good three hours away,” I told him.

“Do you have a last name?”

“Why? Are you looking me up on the internet?”

Hayden tilted his head and studied me closely.

“Got something to hide?” he asked.

“No. It’s Goodman,” I told him.

“So your parents are back in Vinehall?”

“Parent. My mom raised me. My father walked out on us.”

Walker watched me from his seat, his gaze never leaving me.

“Any relation to Ryan Goodman?” asked Hayden.

I almost dropped the plate I was drying.

“Ryan Goodman as in the famous Chef?”

I placed the drying cloth on the side and took a steady breath.

“Yeah. That’s my DNA donor,” I muttered.

“Does this mean...”

“He’s loaded but doesn’t even know I exist,” I said.

“No. I was going to ask if you can cook?”

I nodded.

Hayden clapped his hands together.

“So, when are you moving in?”

I chuckled and threw my drying cloth at him.

He caught it easily and then began to wind it up in his hand.

I knew what that meant.

My mother was an expert at snapping that towel if you got cheeky with her.

“Don’t you dare!” I warned him.

Hayden slid off his stool and took one step towards me, still winding up the cloth.

His blue eyes sparkled with mischief and I took a step back.

His hand whipped out and pulled back quickly, the cloth snapping at the side of me making me jump.

My back hit the tall fridge behind me.

Hayden snapped the cloth so it hit the fridge to my left and when I moved to the right, he snapped the cloth, stopping me.

Slowly he advanced on me until he was standing right in front of me, his eyes locked onto mine.

Walker watched us, his face unreadable.

Hayden blocked my path, his hands slamming against the fridge on either side of me. His breath fanned across my face.

I met his gaze without flinching.

He pressed his lower body against mine, pinning me to the fridge. Then, he lowered his mouth to mine.

A moan escaped me as he deepened the kiss. My arms wound around his neck, my body pressing into his.

We kissed slowly, deeply, for a minute or two before he pulled back, nipping at my lower lip.

“Can you stay the night?” His words were a warm whisper against my skin.

I smiled at him. “No. I said I’d be home later,” I reminded him.

He kissed me quickly. “This is your home,” he murmured.

“I’ll stay another night, I promise,” I assured him.

He seemed to pout a bit before finally stepping back.

“Do you want to ride home on my bike?” Walker asked.

I nodded, gathering my things.

Hayden dropped the phone he’d given me into my bag, winking at me before returning to his laptop.

Walker draped his leather jacket over my shoulders and took my hand. His warmth made me smile.

He led me out of the house and to his bike, helping me with my helmet before putting on his own.

As he swung his leg over the bike, I took a moment to admire him.

God, he was gorgeous!

From his inked arm to his fiery green eyes, he was a sight to behold.

“Get on the bike, little one, or I’ll drag you back into the house and fuck you senseless.”

And that would be a problem, why?

With a sigh, I climbed onto the back of the bike, wrapping my arms around his waist.

His scent enveloped me, comforting and familiar. I rested my head lightly against his back.

He kick-started the bike and we were off, down the driveway.

The gate opened and I clung to him as we made the short ride to Logan’s house.

He pulled up outside Logan’s house and killed the engine, removing his helmet.

I climbed off the bike and he stood before me.

He helped me with my helmet and our eyes met.

A blush crept up my cheeks as I remembered the afternoon’s activities. I watched him smile.

“Keep your phone on you and don’t turn it off. If you need any of us, our phones are on twenty-four-seven,” he instructed.

I nodded, hearing the front door open behind me.

I glanced over my shoulder to see Logan watching us.

Walker raised an eyebrow, then slipped an arm around my waist, pulling me against him.

His mouth descended on mine in a slow, tongue-filled kiss.

“See you later, little one,” he growled in my ear.
