CHAPTER 11: START

START

The newly married couple just got from the palace. Entering the manor the wangye and the wangfei walk while holding each other's hands. The very good atmosphere between them got interrupted because of the prince's concubine.

Lu Biyu looked at the woman in front of him and gave a very loud 'hump' and walked away. He almost forgot about those concubines. He didn't know how he would talk with them...as if he wanted to interact with those women and ger.

The second prince together with one of his concubines look at Lu Biyu's back. The concubine who got ignored by them looked at the prince and said. "Looks like wangfei is in a bad mood, wangye. Just let him cool his head first before your highness follows him."

The concubine said with a slight sneer while saying the word wangfei. She can't believe that a marques son would beat her to the position of wangfei. She, the daughter of the left minister, would not accept this arrangement.

Starting from the day she knew that the wangfei position won't be hers anymore and also the day he knew that the person who would fill the position of wangfei is a son of a mere marques. She started planning on how to eliminate him.

Her plan would start tomorrow. She would do everything so that Lu Biyu would be out of her and the prince's sight and reach. In her mind no one is allowed snatch what is hers.

Longwei who is still standing at the side looking at the way where Lu Biyu walked heard the concubine beside him talk so he glanced at her but the moment he looked at her he also saw the sneer and mocking reaction on her face.

So he deliberately asked the concubine.

" Who are you?" Actually he knew this woman beside being the daughter of the left minister she is also the mistress of his guard. She thinks that he didn't know her filth, that's why she can still act arrogantly in front of his other concubines

Concubine Ai Linfen froze in her place when the prince asked her who she was. She looked up and saw the prince with expressionless face looking at her.

She hurriedly said her name with his eyes forming some tears that were about to fall down.

"This servant's name is Ai Linfen, daughter of the left minister, Your Highness." She stiffly said.

Longwei saw the tears that were about to fall but he didn't give it any mind after it's just this woman's trick so that you would feel pity for her but he, the second prince, wouldn't fall for it.

"Next time don't run around the manor. I hate seeing your ugly face. Do you understand?" Longwei harshly said.

Concubine Ai Linfen, who is ugly according to Longwei, said." Yes, Your Highness." After that he retreated and almost stumbled while walking so fast.

"Tsk. Do you know where my wangfei is?" Longwei asked the guard who appeared out of nowhere.

"Yes, Your Highness. The wangfei is currently with his personal maid named Xiaomi at the garden."

"Mother, is what you said true?" A youngman in his 20s entered the empress palace. When the youngman heard the news he hurriedly went to his imperial mother's place to confirm.

He can't believe that his imperial father gave him an assurance last month that he would be the next emperor but in a blink of an eye his father changed his mind? It's just because his 2nd brother is already married?

He looked at his mother,his birth mother. The once imperial noble consort became an empress just after his 2nd brother's birth.

"Yes it's true. So you need to start the plan we have already talked about. Talk with you Uncle, he knows what to do." His mother said.

"Mother, what plan did you and Uncle talk about?" He suspiciously asked.

The empress looked at her son and said,

"Rebolt." She immediately looked away after she said the word.

The 1st prince's eyes become wide so that his eyeballs can fall out. He can't believe that his mother and uncle want to rebel!

"Mother, this isn't what we talked about! You said that you won't rebel but what is this!! Are you so greedy with power?! You said that we just need to threaten imperial father and poison him to death. Why did you change the plan without me knowing?!" The 1st prince pant after he said those lines.

Yes he agreed to threaten and poison his father but the word rebel didn't even cross his mind! He knows that if they rebel a lot of innocent people would be involved. Besides,his 2nd brother is still alive! He is sure that his brother won't just sit and not care. His brother is sure to deploy his army to war with his mother and uncle and worse they would be dead.

"Ha! Do you really think that because we would threaten him he will appoint you the next emperor?! He won't, it's because of that bastard! Why didn't he die together with his whore mother?! No matter what happens the plan will go without your assistance. If you don't want the throne then don't. Do you think I care?" The empress said with a furious face.

The 1st prince gave his mother one glance and strode away.

"Your Majesty." A shadow guard that appeared out of nowhere greeted the emperor who was sitting high above.

"Report." The emperor said coldly.

"The side of the empress will move at any time. Also the empress cursed the late empress together with the 2nd prince."

The emperor didn't reply and just sat there looking at his own shadow guard.

"You are my most trusted guard, keep this safe. If anything happens to me, give that to the 2nd prince. No one is allowed to read what is written there." The emperor said to his guard he also looked at his eunuch who nodded to him indicating that he also got the meaning of the emperor's action.

The shadow guard accepted the Imperial edict in a blink of an eye the guard disappeared.

"She really can't wait any longer? I thought she would act after this month." Longwei said after he heard the news about the empress. " She even cursed my dead imperial mother. Did she really think that I don't know that she is the reason why my mother died." He looked at the person in front of him and smirked.

All of a sudden a soft voice sounded from the door, where Lu Biyu poke his head. He saw the sky outside was already black.

"Still not finished?" Lu Biyu asked.

The prince stood up from his seat and said that he was already done. Then the two of them came back together to their chamber.

When the two of them entered the room Longwei reached for his outer robe to be removed but he didn't expect that his wangfei would push him to the wall at his side and smashed his soft lips to him.
