Chapter 9

Axel p.o.v

I woke up by the lake seeing the sunset in the distance. I breathed in deeply enjoying the sweet smell of the outdoors. I sat up taking my extra clothes from my ankles and slipped them on. I started walking back to the house when I heard a branch snap behind me. Quickly I looked around only to see trees

" Who's there " I said it was quiet for a moment I shrugged it off walking again

then I felt someone jumped on my back holding me down as I struggled

"long time no see Axel my boy " a familiar voice had said I couldn't put my finger on it

" do remember me ax" he said

Then it hit me that nickname it was my ex best friend Jacob. I kicked him out of the pack years ago and he became a rouge. After training for all those years he was now the strongest rouge leader of them all.

"what do you want Jacob " I said angrily I heard him chuckle slightly

"oh nothing much I just want our packs to rule together ax we could take over the world " he said

all the anger I've ever had came to me in that moment

"I would never rule with you you fucking traitor " I yelled his smile faded "listen hear you little shit I'm going to make you life a living hell starting by taking what's most important to you "

I thought for a second "Alex" I said Jacob smirked

"mhm you've got it " he said then he got up and I started running towards the house

"better hurry Axel " Jacob laughed behind me

I burst in the door "alex" i yelled he came down the stairs sleepily i ran up to him hugging him tightly

"whats going on axel" he said i smiled thankfully "nothing nothing at all"

I let go of the hug "ill never let anything happen to you " i whispered

"axel youre acting weird are you sure everythings ok" he said looking worried

"everythings fine "
