Royalty Stammering Beauty

TWO MONTHS LATER

"Sir, sign this one as well," a person in a suit said. Prthvi signed the paper.

"Are we done?" Prthvi asked, handing the pen back.

"Yes, sir," the employee replied.

"So when will site work start for hotel construction?"

"This week, sir. They will start as soon as they can wrap up their other contracts."

"Good," Prthvi said, nodding while deep in thought.

"You done?"

"Yes, sir."

"Then why are you standing here? Go and do your job."

"Yes, sir."

"Wait, send Amar inside on your way out."

The employee nodded and left.

As Prthvi relaxed his back, Amar came in with a knock. Prthvi got up, put his hand in his trouser pocket, and looked outside from his skyscraper glass window.

"Yes, boss. You have no more meetings."

"Hmm, okay. You can go; it's late," Prthvi said while checking the time on his wristwatch.

But Amar didn't leave. It seemed from his expression that he wanted to say something but hesitated. "Boss, I need to tell you something."

"Did you forget something again?" Prthvi asked, raising one eyebrow and standing behind his chair, folding his arms.

"No, no, boss. It's just that you have a wedding to attend," Amar said.

"A wedding?" Prthvi asked.

"Yes, remember, Mr. Veer Jamwal. They sent you an invitation and invited you as a special guest. Should I make some adjustments to your schedule?"

"No need to do that. I'm not going. It's a waste of time. We have a lot to do. Remember, we have only 1.5 years until our new hotel opening. Focus on work," Prthvi said.

"Yes, boss, I know, but there's a problem. I got the information about the wedding invitation from your dad," Amar said.

"Dad?" Prthvi asked.

"Yes, the president called me today when you were in a meeting. He said to inform you to attend the wedding. Mr. Jairaaj Jamwal make a visit today by himself to invite your whole family. The president said to inform you on his behalf," Amar said, hesitating.

"What?" Prthvi said in shock.

"Okay, then when is the wedding? Make the whole schedule," Prthvi ordered after thinking for a while.

"Two days before the marriage. We will just visit and wish them," Prthvi said.

"Two days before? Not on the wedding day, right?" Amar asked to confirm.

"Yes, you heard right. Not on the wedding day. I don't want to be part of loud ceremonies. I'll meet him 1 days before his marriage, wish him, then back to our business," Prthvi explained.

"Okay," Amar said, looking at his tab.

"Pack your things," Prthvi ordered.

"Boss, I can't come with you," Amar said.

"Why? May I know your reasons?" Prthvi asked, sitting back in his chair.

"Boss, actually, it's... "

"State the reason, Amar," Prthvi said, stressing his words and now appearing angry.

"it's a personal reason. My girlfriend is upset with me. My relationship is on the verge of breaking, and she wants me to meet her parents," Amar said, taking a deep breath.

"And? So what do I do with that?" Prthvi asked, puzzled.

"Boss, because I have to always accompany you for everything, and you like to work until dayfall in the dark, I can't make time for my girlfriend. She's angry, and she wants me to meet her parents," Amar explained.

"And? So what do I do with that?" Prthvi asked again, not understanding why Amar was sharing this.

"Boss, please understand. For you, relationships and love are a waste of time, but not for everyone. They need a partner too. Sorry, boss," Amar said.

There was a moment of silence. Then Prthvi spoke, not looking angry anymore, "Hmm, so that's your reason."

"Okay, take leave on the same day as mine," Prthvi said.

"Are you serious, boss? Thank you. I will work overnight in the future without any pay, I swear," Amar said with a smile.

"No need for that. Just be successful," Prthvi said.

"Thanks, boss," Amar said while bowing.

"So, I need to travel alone there? At least clear my schedule," Prthvi said.

"You don't need to. I have already called someone to keep you company," Amar said.

"In advance, and who?" Prthvi asked.

Then they heard a knock. "Can I come inside, Mr. Businessman?"

"Abhi? Tu? By the way, you're already inside," Prthvi said.

"Yeah,it's me, darling," Abhi said, winking at Prthvi, who ignored him.

"Amar, you can go," Prthvi ordered.

"Okay, boss," Amar said while leaving. But as Amar was leaving, Prthvi stopped him and opened his drawer, took out something, and said, "Take this and buy her an expensive bag. Take her on a date in our reserved hotel. She won't complain."

"Boss, it's your card. How can I?" Amar asked, looking surprised and on the verge of tears.

"Stop with your fake tears. Just take it and go now," Prthvi said to Amar.

When Amar left, Prthvi couldn't help but say, "All sick people were sent to me ."

Abhi couldn't stop but ask, "Ohoho, giving your card. Is there some profit behind this as well?"

"It's just a card, a compensation for his time. Well, I have other cards too. He's a great employee," Prthvi explained.

"Okay, so cold, Mr. Businessman has a soft side for his employees too," Abhi commented.

"Just tell me why you came? A sudden visit? Did the hospital community kick you out?" Prthvi asked, already done with his friend's nonsense.

"Yeah, exactly. Now your friend is an unemployed doctor, and I came to spend time with you," Abhi said, sitting at the table.

Prthvi looked at him, with an expression that said, 'Seriously, I will kill you on the spot,' and commented, "Abhi?"

Abhi said, "No, your secretary called me to attend the wedding with you. He told me his reason. Bechare tu khud bhi the whole life bachelor rahega, aur apne employees ko bhi single rakhega. have some mercy on them atleast."

"Oh, so you will accompany me. What a bad luck," Prthvi commented.

"Oh, Mr. Cocky man. People call me a doctor; give some respect," Abhi said.

"Pack your things; we will go after three days." Prthvi said, ignoring Abhi's comment, in an order tone.
