Proposal

"Marriage?" I squeaked out and Amelia leaned back into me.

The crowd that was around us had grown when they had heard the word challenge. There were whispers about how strong the boy is, how I don't stand a chance and blah, blah, blah.

My mind was only focused on the marriage part of it. Just the thought of marriage made my head feel light and I squeezed Amelia tighter.

Yes I loved Amelia, we had just feaking talked about it. How the hell did we get to marriage already?

"If you forefit, Amelia will be forced to marry that idiot." Dare said.

"What the fuck do you mean forced?" I growled at the thought of.............of........what the fuck was his name?!?!

"I think it was Lip balm." Dare said.

"Lip balm? What the hell kind of name is that?" I asked.

I felt her shrug and then Amelia giggled. Dare was probably talking to her.

"Are you okay Dealia?" A soft voice asked and I looked up to see Crystal and Phoebe staring at me.

"Yeah everything's good." I said but she didn't believe me.

We left the party early and went back to our room where I collapsed on the bed.

I had one word chanting through my head.

Marriage.

Marriage.

Marriage.

"It really is bothering you isn't it." Amelia asked as she crawled on top of me.

"Hmm." I said and she chuckled.

"We don't have to get married babe, not until we're ready, if we're ever ready." She said and I felt some of my tension ease.

"Don't worry gorgeous, if it came down to it I'd marry you in a second." Dare says to Amelia but she had opened their link up to me as well so I could hear and Amelia giggled.

"One of these days I'm gonna kick you ass." I growl at her.

"Just because you like to think of yourself as a bloody ninja, don't think I won't kick you're ass all around this place." Dare says and I roll my eyes.

"If it really did come down to it I would marry you." I tell Amelia while mentally I stick my tongue out at Dare.

Amelia gave me a soft kiss on the lips before rolling off of me onto her side of the bed.

It was the day of the challenge and I was a little confused.

"I thought I was just going to slap him around a little bit." I said to Amelia as we walked down the hall to get to the gym, where aparently eveyone was. I mean everyone like in the entire magical community.

Who knew that they took challenges so seriously. I was really expecting to be jumped and to kick ass in secret.

We walked into the oversized gym that had been redone with magic to fit everyone. Crystal and Phoebe came into the room after us. Since the night they'd met they haven't left each others side. Phoebe had actually moved in with Crystal and the two of them couldn't be happier.

The crowd started cheering and I thought I was having a Rocky Balboa moment and was about to throw both of my fists in the air  until I Lip balm got up from his seat and made his way to the middle of the gym floor.

He was bare chested and had on a pair of loose pants with no shoes. That was similar to what I was wearing, except I had on a black sports bra.

I gave Amelia a kiss on the lips and heard cries of outrage from the audience.

Smirking, I wrapped my arms around her waist and picked her up. Her legs automatically wrapped around me as I deepened our kiss and the crowd roared in disapproval.

"Enough!" A voice screamed and the crowd silenced.

"To the center of the arena Frost!" The person screamed again and I placed Amelia down and turned to see who it was who spoke to me like that and rolled my eyes when I was saw the speaker.

"You wouldn't happen to be speaking to me like that would you puppy? There has to be another Frost in here that you were just addressing right?" I asked and the crowd gasped.

Apparently you don't talk to a council member like that.

Puppy eyes narrowed at me and I mirrored him until he looked away and growled.

"Good puppy, now wait until I'm finished." I said I saw many people with their mouths hanging open.

"Wish me luck beautiful." I tell Amelia with one last peck in her cheek.

"You won't need it." She said and after Crystal and Phoebe had wished me luck they took their seats among a group of girls who were all looking at me like I was a piece of meat.

I walked to the middle of the room where Lip balm was standing with a smirk on his face.

"Okay, let's get this over with." I said and was about to punch him in the face when Queenie stood up.

"The challenge hasn't started yet,we have to go over the rules." She said and I rolled my eyes.

"How hard is it to figure out. He tries to kick my ass and I kick his. Simple." I say.

"Yes that's the main point, but we need to stress the no killing rule and the rule about assistance." She said and I frowned as Lip balms smile got wider.

"What assistance?" I say and shift back on my feet

"Both competitors are allowed at least two others to assist them during the match." She says and two big guys walked towards us from Lip balms side of the room to his side.

Now the three of them are grinning like idiots.

"Is that all? They're doing Xena re-runs today and I don't want to miss it." I say and Lip balms mouth drops open.

"Just that the winner of the match will win Ms. Summers hand in marriage." She said.

I nooded my head and did what I was about to do before which is punch Lip balm in the face.
