Mother may I

I glared at her hard but her facial expressions never changed.

Her eyes shifted from me to Lina then locked on Lina and she took a step towards her. I moved and blocked her way and crossed my arms over my chest.

"What do want Gwendolyn?" I asked looking down at her.

A hand rested on my shoulder and pulled me back.

"It's ok Dealia." Lina said as she moved up to my side and also looked down at her.

"I just wanted to see my daughter." Gwendolyn says looking at Lina. I can't help the snort that I let out.

Lina's face hardens as she takes a angry step forward.

"I don't remember you wanting to see me when I was left alone with that monster. I don't remember you wanting to see me when I was thrown in that prison for all those years." She says quietly but it has the same effect as if she was shouting.

"Sis is kinda scary." Dare says and I have to agree with her.

"What would make you think that I want your concern? When we were little I saw the way you treated Dealia and even now you still treat her the same way, why would I allow you to do the same to me?" She asks taking another step closer.

"I've been without a mother for thousands of years and I'll continue to be fine without a replacement like you." She finishes and walks away.

"Burn." I whisper under my breath but Gwendolyn hears me and shoots me a glare.

I raise my hands in surrender and back away to Amelia's side with a smile on my face as Gwendolyn turns and walks away.

As much as I want to kill her for her part in all this, there a small part of me that won't allow me too.

"It stops me too, do you know how many times I've wanted to get rid of her?" Dare asks sounding frustrated.

I take Amelia with me as we walk over to where Lina is standing and I give her a small hug.

"There's no chance in hoping she'll turn into a good mother is there?" She asks me.

"No. I'm sorry, but Gwendolyn doesn't do emotions, so hoping for her to be a  mother who cares for you is a waste of time." I tell her honestly as I squeeze her tighter.

She nods her head and takes a deep breath then pulls away from me.

"So when are you guys leaving? I know you can't wait to get back to Earth." She asks with a smile on her face and I can't help but smile back at her.

"As soon as we finish packing our bags." I say and she nods her head.

We all turn and walk back into the now partly destroyed clan house and get on the lift, we get out and walk down the corridor and have to jump over the large hole in the floor that I had made earlier.

As soo as we were inside our room I rushed into the shower after burning my bloody clothes and let the hot water wash over me, cleaning off the dried blood and other bits of things that I had accumulated.

After about half an hour I was finally clean. I got out and got dressed and started packing our bags. When that was done I carried them out to the living room and placed them down on the floor then followed the smell of cooking food to the kitchen.

Lina had also taken a shower and was currently seated at the bar watching Amelia cook. I sat down beside her and joined her in staring.

"You are one lucky woman sis." She said and I smiled at her calling me her sister.

"Don't I know it." I say as I continue staring at Amelia.

"Don't mess it up." She said sternly.

"Your the second person to say that to me, why do you think I'm going to mess up?" I asked really wanting to know.

Lina just shrugged her shoulders at me and continued staring.

I got up out of my seat and walked over to Amelia who still had her back to us and wrapped my arms around her waist as she continued to stir the food.

"What's wrong?" She asked turning her head to look at me.

I shook my head and burried my face in her neck taking in her scent.

I stepped away from her as she began distributing the food and we all sat down and ate in silence.

We all moved to the living room when we were done and I picked up our bags.

"I guess this is goodbye."Lina says giving Amelia a hug.

"For now." I tell her after I also hug her.

"We'll be back to check on you and to say hi." I say and summon a portal to Earth.

"Kick ass!" I shout as me and Amelia walk through.

We exit in my living room on earth and I look around and notice everything is still the same.

"Jacob we're home!" I shout and I watch as he peeks his head through the ceiling and spots us.

His face lights up and and he flies towards us and stops in front of us and starts spinning in the air.

"ICE!" He sceams.

"Your back, you guys have been gone forever." He stops spinning and Amelia laughs at his antics but I just shake my head at his craziness.

"We wern't gone that long." I tell him and set out bags down.

"It felt like forever." He mumbled.

"How have things here been?" I ask him sitting down and pulling Amelia down with me.

"You wouldn't believe it if I told you." He said and used his ghostly powers to turn on the t.v.

" I repeat, If you know anyone suspected of being a supernatural please call your local police station." A man in a military uniform said.

The screen switched to scenes where Vampires and shifters were being dragged out in silver chains and thrown into vans, then cuts to those camps they we're talking about before we left.

"Help us rid the world of these creatures before they destroy us all!" The same man shouts before the scene switched again and numbers started scrowling across the screen.

"So whose up for a game of monopoly?" I asked standing up, both their heads snapped in my direction.

"What, you guys don't like monopoly?" I asked.

"This is serious Dealia." Amelia said gesturing towarda the t.v.

"She's right Ice, you have to do something about this." Jacob joined in and I rolled my eyes.

I flopped back down and looked back up at the ceiling and sighed.

"You cant expect someone like her to do anything." A familiar voice coming from my wrist said.

"You have got be kidding me." I said and looked down at the wrist comp.

"Hello miss whipped, missed me?"
