Loving A Stripper (Editing)

Kunle

No one could mistake that skin colour, or that smile or her one-sided dimple, not even that little cracked voice. No one could forget those things, not after seeing her for a second or hearing her speak.

That's why the moment I got her details as one of my newly employed staff with a passport of her smiling I sent David the supervisor of Sharon, the hotel she was employed in to prepare the event center and my little office for a meeting with the newly employed staff.

All I wanted, was to see her reaction, and if possible take a picture, using it as my screen saver for a year.

The moment she stepped in, I turned to my computer screen, when really I was staring at the live video clip of her face.

The fact she stood with her mouth opened after stepping into the office, gave me the extreme satisfaction I needed, and seeing her moved her wig to prevent me from recognizing her made me smile and a bit curious.

But what I really was not ready for, was her accepting my proposal. I never needed a personal assistant, I could handle all my affairs and I had supervisors who reported to me, I just had to see how she reacted to threats.

I took out a form for new employee and dropped it in front of her. She signed it without going through the details.

Beautiful but dumb, I thought and staring at the wooden door as she walked out

I looked through her details in front of me and copied her number to my phone.

Done with my agenda, I stood from my seat, ready to leave.

"Sir, we still have two more employees to interview," David said, stepping in and shuting the door behind him.

"They can keep their jobs, no need for the interview." I picked my black suit jacket that was hung behind my chair and wore it.

"But-"

"No but David, I'm exhausted, plus I'm late for a meeting."

"Ok sir." He opened the door and strolled behind me out of the room.

"I just promoted Miss Grace to the position of my personal assistant, so put that on record. I also need all her information e-mailed to me," I instructed, walking towards my Mercedes-Benz S450.

"She is allowed to come in, at any time of the day and gets whatever she wants."

"Ok, sir."

I opened the door to my car and started the engine, David stood close waiting for further instructions.

"Also E_mail the details of today's activities to me, I will be in the main office," I said.

Just then, the front passenger seat to my car opened and Chris sat down putting on his seat belt. I turned to my playboy best friend who wore a smirk.

"What are you doing in my hotel, Chris?" I asked driving out of the gate.

"C'mon bro, you know I'm your best customer," He said, leaning forward to switch on the radio.

"I know that you lodge into my hotel every night with different women, I get the report you know," I said, my eyes focused on the road

"I'm sure half of your income goes to my hotel."

"You know, I think you are right," he said.

"I'm always right."

"No bro, you are not." He shook his head in disagreement.

"Oh yeah? you think so?"

"Yeap."

"Give me an example where I was wrong?" I took my eyes off the road, waiting for the traffic light to turn green.

"Remember when you said faith was a virgin? nigger I fucked that bitch her hole was as wide as a well!" He yelled, obviously proud of his achievement.

The light turned green and I started down the busy Lagos road. "My ex-girlfriend?"

"Yep," He said, placing his hands behind his head with an evil smirk.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked not annoyed but shocked by this piece of information.

Faith was my second girlfriend back in my university days, she told me she was a virgin and actually dressed the part in her long skirt that swept the floor.

"I pinky promised not to tell and you know I always keep to my damn promises," He said, now typing on his phone.

"And why are you telling me this now?"

"Met her last weekend, she's now married with two kids so I believe I can break my promise."

"Guy, you are very wicked I swear."

"But seriously, what were you doing in my hotel? we are supposed to meet tomorrow not today?" I asked, now packing in front of Fabulous one of dad's mini restaurants. He left the hotel's business to me but not the restaurant, claiming an old man needed to hold on to something.

"Very importantly, I saw my female client off to your hotel as always." He smiled, showing off his gap teeth, "And I got a new target working in your hotel, I will tell you when it progresses."

"Also I had a meeting with some investors, I need some shipment from china," He added, as we walked into the restaurant.

"After the meeting, I decided to see you, Simi told me you called off the engagement yesterday?"

"Yeah I did, I told you I will."

"Hope she's ok?" I asked as we both sat down. I knew my ex, Chris sister was very dramatic.

I sensed something was off by the way he stared at me with furrowed brows, he broke the stares and looked around.

"Chris is everything ok?"

"She is pregnant."

"Holy fuck."

"Sis, sis." I heard the voice from a distance and felt a cold hand touched my hands. I jumped, scared, and sweating. I turned to see Natalie staring down at me.

"Your phone was ringing," She said, pointing at my phone on the cabinet beside me.

"Who is calling by this time of the morning?"

She laid down, now tugging the sheet around her body. "It's an unknown number, are you going to pick the call?"

"No, it's too early, I can return the call later in the day," I said and turned to continue my sleep, when my phone vibrated, indicating a text message.

I picked up the phone, a surprised  expression on my face as I read the message.

"I need you in my office now."

"Sorry who is this?"

"It's your boss, I'm in the office, which means you are meant to be here as my assistant." Unknown number.

"Now."

I sighed in frustration discovering it was my boss, whose name I still don't know.

You could have just googled about the guy, my subconscious said.

"No need," I muttered.

I went done to my contact list and saved his contact as No Name Bighead Boss, my phone vibrated, indicating name too long. I decided to change it, smiling as I wrote "Oversize shoe"

I laid back down, not ready to work, but my phone vibrated again.

"Be in the office, in the next hour, or you are fired." Oversize shoe.

I stood up immediately, throwing off my cover.

"Are you going out sis?" Natalie asked, sitting halfway on the bed, her elbow giving her balance.

"I have to go, my boss needs me," I answered, taking off my pajamas.

"But it's too early, it's just 5:00 am," she said, now sitting up straight while I walked into the bathroom with my towel on.

"I know, just make sure to prepare for school on time and eat," I said, from the bathroom.

"I'm in the hotel sir, the receptionist said you are not in," I said, standing in the almost empty hall of the hotel.

"What!" He yelled

"What?!" I yelled back.

"That's not my office, what type of dumb assistant doesn't know the office of her boss?"

"Well, you didn't tell me you had another office, boss man."

"What did you just call me?" He asked, his voice sharp like the edge of a sword.

"Nothing sir."

"Take a taxi to Sharon Right Infrastructure, I'm waiting for you in my office."

I heard he sighed. "Thirty minutes, Grace"

"Can I get breakfast fi-" He hung up.

"Asshole," I muttered under my breathe, as I walked out of the hotel with my stomach vibrating and crying for food.
