Chapter 47: I'm Back

Two weeks ago I couldn't wait to go home ,and now I could notbe more happy to be back, but now that I'm finally here and seeing so many familiar faces, I soo wanna go back home" I thought admiring the school gates and stepped inside with my mum and Mary closely behind.

"Ann!!!" Jordan squealed and jumped on me making me drop my bag while my mum looked at us weird.

"Sup dear ,I missed you" I hugged her back and dropped her.

"Me too...Good afternoon ma, I'm Ann's school daughter Jordan" she introduced and my mum smiled back.

"Oh really that's nice, I hope she's treating you well" mum said bending down to her size

"Yeah she is and your really pretty...oh yeah and I'm in 8th grade" she grinned.

"Nice, I like you already... Want some Candy" mum said with the fattest smile, she loves children.

"Sure" she shrugged and my mum searched her bag.

"Okay..I'm just gonna quickly get searched and checked in" I said as some maids followed me behind rolling my boxes and left mum and JJ to chat.

Once I came back, mum and JJ were giggling in hush tones. "What's up with you guys?"

"Nothing" they said at the same time

"Anyway I'm done checking in and I've got my clearance plus Natalie isn't back yet" I informed.

"Ok cool, I'm just going to talk to your principal about the rings and other stuff and yes before I forget I want to meet Asher" she said and I felt the colour leaving my face.

"Bu...but.. But why!" I stuttered and she placed her hand on her hip giving her duh bitch face.

"Became I want to...don't worry I'm not lecturing him or something, trust me" she said with a smile.

"Ok" I said trying to stabilize my breathing as I turned towards Jordan.

"Jay could you please go and call Ash" and she nodded going for the message and I faced my mum to find her smirking at me

"Oh well I'm going to the principal's office, I'll be right back" she said and I just stood there lowkey panicking.

"I'm so sorry" Mary said placing her hand on my shoulder looking at me with pity...I forgot she was even there.

"What do you think she's calling him for" she asked.

"How the fuck do you expect me to know"

"Just imagine she says that you guys can't date"

"Hey don't joke like that" I warned and she put her hands up in surrender.

"I'm sorry but its possible... Or she embarrasses you so much that ash losses interest"

"Uggh no no no...why does mum have to talk to him" I groaned and started pacing around.

*Asher's POV*

I arrived like an hour ago. Elliot is the only one that isn't here, leaving Austin, James and I to talk alone on our table.

"No way so you guys are like official now" Austin asked in disbelief and I nodded.

"Dang...I thought I would date her first" James said...was that a joke.

"Sorry buddy, I was faster" I said feeling smug.

"I'm better for her" he challenged.

"I thought you didn't fancy girls" I smirked.

"I do fancy girls, I just fancy boys more" he shrugged.

"Anyway just stay clear from Ann... She's his now" Austin said.

"Fine" he muttered

"Anyway I don't care cause I met this really cute nerd at a party and well let's just say we hit it off" he smirked.

"Boy or girl" Austin asked.

"Boy"

"Nice"

"So anyway stay away from you know who...don't get too touchy" Austin playfully advised downing his drink.

"If you like misbehave, I'll give you a black eye" I said taking another sip of my drink when someone tapped my shoulder and I looked back to see Jordan.

"Emm sorry to disturb you but Ann is here and her mum wants to see you... I think your in trouble" she said and I choked on my drink on hearing the last part while Austin spat out his drink and James laughed like crazy.

"What" I exclaimed

"Dude! did you get her pregnant" Austin asked damn serious making James laugh more.

"Of course not stupid, we haven't even had sex yet" I said.

"On my goodness... This is comedy gold" James said whipping away a tear and I glared at him.

"Go on now" he said and I stood up and looked at Jordan.

"Come on let's go" she said taking my hand and urging me to follow her.

"May the force be with you" James yelled.

"I'll pray a decade for you" Austin yelled and bursted into laughter as Jordan and I step out.

"Don't worry your not in trouble, I just wanted to see the look on your face" she said and I was a little bit relieved.

"But I'm still worried tho" I admitted as we got closer.

"Jordan" someone called out and she whipped her head towards the sound.

"Gotta go bye" she said about to run off when I held her back.

"What, you can't leave me...what if I fuck up" I asked and she patted my arm.

"Don't worry be confident, you'll make it" she said and ran off while I headed towards the front of hall.

I finally got there and saw Ann leaning against the wall pinching the bridge of her nose contemplating and her presence already makes me happy and I walked towards her.

* Ann's POV *

I was imaging the worse case scenarios when someone tapped my shoulder bringing me out of my thoughts and turned seeing Ash in all he's badboy glory. He wore ripped jeans, Jordans ands the school hoodie and his amber eyes look brighter than ever with his smirk looking undeniably sexy.

"Ash" I said hugging him and he hugged me back. "I've missed you"

"Me too" he said kissing my  forehead. "My mum asked about you...I said your aiit. And you wore the rings, would they let you in with it" he asked.

"I don't know, my mum and I really loved it and she went to give some reason for me to wear it in school" I said as he admired the rings making tiny circles at the back of my palm with his thumb.

"You think a white lie would work" he smirked down at me.

"Well my mum is a very intimidating person" I said laughing awkwardly and rubbing the nape of my neck and biting my lip. "Speaking about mums...mine wants to talk to you" I said looking at him through my lashes.

"Ok" he shrugged and I looked at him dumbfounded.

"What!...no not okay" I said punching his arm and he chuckled.

"What...what's there in talking to your mum" he laughed.

"Everything Ash, everything!" I said grabbing fist fulls of his hoddie. "I don't want her to scare you away.

" don't worry" he said cupping my face as I release him.

"Don't you feel weird or more precisely scared"

"Don't worry I'm a charmer" I grinned and I gave him a 'really nigga' kinda face

"Ok trust me, She'll love me" he said cupping my face and looking into my eyes.

"I hope so" I muttered avoiding his eyes.

"Oh your so cute when your worried" he said then kissed me...how I've missed his soft lips.

"Ok I guess he's here" my mum said making us break apart and my cheeks started heating up. How did we not hear her coming, it pains me how ash looks so cool and calm.

"Yes I am...good afternoon ma" he said putting out his hand to shake her but she just looked at his hand then back to him as he awkwardly puts it back to his sides. DAMN!

"Anyway" I coughed to clear the air. "Liam, this is my mum...mum meet Liam" I said.

"Yeah I'll get back to him in a bit, as for you the rings can stay but don't wear them during class hours..I told her its a princess shit" she informed.

"Cool thanks" I smiled

"Yeah and focus on your studies, don't do bad shit and just be happy dear" she advised and kissed my cheek leaving her signature wine lip print. "I want to talk to liam alone" she said smiling mischievously at him and that's never a good sign.

"But mother...no..please" I whined

"Alone" she said serious and I just scoffed walking back to my boxes.

"Be strong" I said to ash walking pass. "You better not threaten his life" I said and left.

I feel like I've been walking for miles, why can't the hostel be closer I complained as I saw two juniors and called them. "Here take my boxes to my dorm" I ordered and turned around.

I searched to see if I could spot my mom and ash and I finally say them from the distance, I think...hugging.

"I should really get my eyes checked" I said and walked to the cafeteria to meet people.

* Asher's POV *

I know I said I was brave and their was nothing to be worried about, but there is everything to be worried about. I mean she's scaring the shit out of me with her intimidating smirk, but I have to be strong.

"So..." I tried breaking the silence.

"Right, so I know your status in the school and let's just say I know your parents and Ann is not stupid, so I think your a good kid" she said and I let out a sigh of relief.

"Oh thank God" I said under my breath making her chuckle.

"But.." She continued...oh no

"The real question is, do you really like my daughter" she asked. "Or you just like her for touching body, for her particulars...or she's just another pretty face" she emphasized like a real Nigerian mum.

"No I really like her but those are just bonuses" I grinned.

"What the fu.." She said and I started laughing, making her laughter too.

"Oh my God lol...no but seriously. I really do like your daughter, she makes me happy" I said hoping she's convinced and she analyzed me.

"You know what kid, I can actually sense some honesty from you"

"Thank you Mrs parker" I smiled.

"Please call me mum, your my daughter's boyfriend"

"I remember when I was Ann's age, I was a savage nerd. I dated all types of guys but I treated it like a game and I played smartly too afraid of catching feelings cause I didn't want to get hurt until I met Mr Right" she continued.

"Then what happened" I asked.

"I got married to the nigga and bore a child" she laughed.

"But anyway keep up with your studies, don't do bad shit and have fun" she said and hugged me making me smile.

"Thanks" I said as we broke apart.

"Oh my gosh he has dimples" she exclaimed making me grin wider.

"Ok bye see you on visiting day" she said pecking my cheek leaving lip print on it and I waved her off.

As soon as she left, I turned and walked back to the cafeteria. Well that went well.

Once I entered the cafeteria I saw Ann sitting next to James as he strokes her hair and she stood up on seeing me.

"So how did it go" she asked anxious and I turned so she could see for herself

"No way" she gasped.

"Way" I smiled and she hugged me.

"Congratulations... To the newest couple at RKC" Austin said.

"Correction the newest power couple of RKC" I said.

"I thought that was Elliot and Natalie" favour said.

"Not anymore... Introducing the king and queen of Royalty King College" I said and kissed my Queen.

Merry Christmas everyone, it feels so good to be back. I not suffering from writers block, I just have so many irrelevant distractions like social media... Encourage me to get my brain working and write for y'all by showing some love.
