Chapter 43: Dubai II

My heart is lowkey beating fast  inside my chest right now as I  walk past the door, I looked around searching for ash when our eyes locked as he was already looking at me.

I wanted to gasp...my boy is looking like a snack with his blue suit, white dress shirt with the black buttons, black shoes and black bow tie, all accompanied with his watch and studs. He looked simple yet classy.

He grinned for a little while then smirked and bite his lip as I blushed trying not to hide my face right now.

do I really looked that different.

I walked over to him when something tugged on my dress hard and I tripped but before I hit the ground ash caught me...thank God tho. I looked back to see what caused it and I saw Zara smirking at me.

That bitch stepped on my dress.

* Asher's POV *

We males finished like 30mins early and were just chilling till the ladies were done.

We finally got the announcement that the girls are ready and we lined up outside waiting for our dates.

I waited for Ann patiently as more and more relatives came out the door in style.

Zara came out the door and winked at me...uggh I thought she got over me, but I don't blame her, I look like a snack I thought as she walked up to hassan whose her date for the night.

I continued waiting then Ann came out wearing the elegant dress I bought her. She looked amazing, from the shoes to her body and dress to the makeup to her hair, she's not on curls but it still looks good tho everything was perfect. I felt so proud at the moment, I felt like grinning so hard but I'll just look love struck in front of the guys so I just kept my cool.

Our eyes met and she smiled then bit her lip looking unsure of herself and she started walking up to me and i did the same until she tripped on her own foot.

Oh God...she can never have a Cinderella moment.

Before she could welcome the floor with her face I was quick enough to catch her and when she realised she hadn't hit the floor she looked back and sighed then looked up to me.

"Hey clumsy" I smirked.

"Uggh I can never have a Cinderella moment, can I " she said frustrated straightening herself as I adjust her cute tiara. I looked at her for like a solid minute speechless until I finally found the words.

"Wow...just wow, you look amazing...like you legit look 18 right now" I said and her smile grew bigger.

"Thanks, you really think so" she said as I wrap my hands round her waist.

"I know so" I said trying to peck her lips but I just ended up pecking her cheek.

"Ash your going to ruin make up" she whined.

"I'm not going to" I said quickly pecking her lips before she complains again.

"Ah you ruined my make-up" she said pretending to cry.

"No I didn't...everything looks fine, the lashes and everything nothing is smudged" I tried calming her down and she looked at me then smiled.

"Oh my god you're so cute" I said hugging her and rubbing our noses together as she giggled.

"Uggh I'm gonna vomit...let's go downstairs already" hassan said beside us making us look at him but I just ignored him.

"Shall we" I said giving Ann a hand and she took it with a smile as we head downstairs.

* Ann's POV *

The hall was huge with a woody colour scheme and pretty lights, we walked over to were the paparazzi was and took our pictures then went further into the hall.

There were at least 200 people in here and I watched as Asher's mom greeted everyone with a smile on her face.

"Time for you to meet someone special" ash said.

"Who" I asked and he walked me to a part of of the hall and tapped an elderly woman by the shoulders and she turned to look at us, she looked somewhat in her late 60s.

"Liam...oh how nice to see you" the woman said hugging him.

"Good evening Grandma" he said hugging her back.

"Good evening ma" I greeted...well  she's black so I'm guessing she's Gorge's mother.

"Hi dear, who might you be" she asked sweetly.

"She's my date for tonight grandma, she's from delta too" he answered for me.

"Oh yay" she said hugging me. "Nice meeting you" she said and I smiled.

"Well I'll see you, gotta go greet more people" ash said and we left.

We saw more of he's cousins, friends,steps, etc and they were pretty cool and nice.

"Ash when is dinner" I whined.

"Soon my dear" he said kissing my temple and grabbing one booty and I gasp

"Ash were in public" I said trying to stylishly remove his hand.

"I don't care sweetheart, them horny wolves are looking at you like a stack of meat" he whispered into my ear.

"Why would that be" I pouted.

"Maybe cause your milkshakes brings all the boys to the yard" he said

"My milk..." I asked confused and I looked at my boobs realising.

"Ash" I said and he laughed.

"ha ha prude" he smirked.

"Bitch" I mumbled

"Dick" scoffed back.

"Oh now we're exchanging names" I said sassily.

"I guess we are" he smirked.

"Well I don't blame them, I am a snack" I said cockily flipping my hair.

"Well your my chocolate cake and only I can eat you" he said smirked.

"That sounded wrong" I said faking a cringe.

"Would you get your hands off her ass" someone said behind us and we looked back.

Omg I can't believe it...she's here

"Natalie?" I asked baffled.

"What's up man" ash said bro hugging Elliot.

"Surprise... I've missed you" Nat said hugging me. She wore a pretty black fluffy dress with a deep cut the exposed her beautiful chest in the right proportion along side her date wearing a dashing red & black suit.

"I've missed you too...but how, when...what" I asked confused.

"As you know ash and my parents are tight, so my parents would obviously be here and I ended my shoot early....so I flew Nat her to be my date" Elliot explained.

"And by the way, sorry we're late... There are like 5 hotels that sound alike" he concluded.

"Oh that's awesome" I said then hugged nat again.

"And nice seeing you again" I hugged Elliot.

"And we're staying the night too" Nat squealed and I squealed with her.

"Ok everyone time for dinner...please go to the other room and take your seats" the same lady with the microphone announced.

We walked into another room and it was beautifully decorated and it had the same woody theme and the centerpieces are just amazing. There was a huge rectangular table in the middle of the room that could contain like 100 people and small circular tables round it that could contain like 5 people each.

Apparently our names are in front of our seats so I searched for my name and ash pulled my seat for me as I sat down and he sat down beside me.

Natalie was beside me and beside her was Elliot then I was facing Hassan and Asher was facing Alicia, Nat was facing Khloe and Elliot was facing Zara.

George's mother and Aisha's Father sat at the extreme end unfortunately their spouses have died and shortly after. George and Aisha came in and took a seat at the other extreme end next to ash with new outfits. She wore a navy blue dress that looked like a two piece and was Lacy and George wore a new suit to match the blue that he's wife is wearing

"Thank you all for coming, I really appreciate it. Please fill out the questions on your plates and after that the waiters would get your orders as we pray" Aisha said once she was seated.

Now that she pointed it out, there was a card on my plate and I picked it up.

Once I was done filling in the waiter took my card among others and went into the kitchen. We prayed and chatted as we waited for our food.

"Is it only me or is this dude in front of you hot" Nat whispered to me.

"Its not you my sister" I whispered back.

"You think he has a girlfriend" she whispered.

"Nat" I gasped making her chuckle.

"I'm kidding" she said.

"You know y'all are bad at whispering" ash said.

"I know right, as if she wasn't trying" Elliot said.

"Anyway I appreciate The compliment" hassan winked at Nat making her point at Elliot and he looked at him.

"Yeah she's mine" Elliot said.

"Don't worry I'm not trying to steal her" he assured.

"Call me" he mouthed to nat making us both laughed.

Finally our  appetizers arrived and I was greeted with a fine tiny bowl of rice and stew which I didn't waste time to dig into.

I was quietly eating my food when Ash placed a hand on the bare thigh that the slit on my dress provided, going a little bit higher by the second

"Ash behave" I said sternly.

"Do you like it" he smirked.

"No" I replied and he gasped.

"You don't like the food" he said.

"No the food is good, get your hands off my thigh" I whispered resting his hand on my knee and playing with his bracelet, it really does fit everything.

Aisha whispered something to ash and he stood up and left but came back shortly.

"Where did you go to" I asked as he sat down.

"I went to check if my mom's third dress is ready" he said.

"Well is it" I asked.

"Yeah, their just sewing in the stones... Its basically ready" he shrugged.

"That's quite a dress" I mumbled.

Finally my desert came and the waiter dropped the plate in front of me and I came face to face with a slice of each flavour and a scoop of chocolate and vanilla ice cream in the middle.

I looked at Aisha and she smiled at me.

"Good job" I mouthed to her and she mouthed a thanks back

I took a fork and ate a piece of cake and I started to have cramps and I just felt unease...huh weird.

* Asher's POV *

I ate my ice cream cake in delight but I couldn't take my eyes of Ann, she isn't smiling. She's usually happy at the sight of sweet stuff but she looks unease.

"Are you ok" I asked her as I rub her knee and she looked at me.

"Emm yeah I guess...I think I'll just go to the bathroom" she said with a sly smile and stood up.

Immediately she stood up I saw a very big stain on her dress and I instantly yanked her back into her seat and she hit the table almost knocking down her desert and my mom and everyone else looked at us with a questioning look.

"What's wrong with you" Ann said and I smiled at everyone else.

"Sorry guys, I just miss her already" I said and they shrugged it off.

"Code red" I whispered to her but she just looked at me like I was crazy.

"You have the girl flu" I tried again.

"What the fuck are you talking about" she almost yelled in annoyance.

"The painters are in town" I tried to signal her in code but she still didn't understand.

"Your flying the Japanese flag" I whispered but she didn't get and I gave up.

"Ok just stand up slowly and get in front of me once I stand up" I instructed and she nodded.

She stood up slowly and I did the same covering her behind immediately she was up and hugged her tightly, kissing her all around to make it seem like I'm showing her affection as we walked out not minding the stares we were getting.

As soon as we were out I took my jacket off.

"What's wrong with you" Ann yelled.

"For God's sake your on your period, your stained...I was saving your life" I explained and she looked at the big reddish stain on her dress.

"Oh" was all she managed to say.

"What I'm I going to do, I don't have another dress...I knew extra packing was important" she panicked hitting me.

"Don't worry we'll find a way just take this and wrap it round your waist" I said giving her my jacket when my phone chimed.

Mum: what was that stunt you did 😡 do you want to disgrace me.

Me: no...Ann is heavily stained and I was trying to get her out unnoticed.

Mum: oh my...I'm coming out.

After a while my mum came and we all went back to the suits.

* Ann's POV *

We went back to the hotel room and once we were inside I honestly felt like crying... I mean why should such a thing happen on such an important night, its just annoying.

"Ok let me see" Aisha said and I took the jacket off and she gasped.

"Damn, that's a lot...did you stain the seat" she asked and I shrugged.

"She even stain my trousers too" ash chuckled... Is this funny to him.

"Ok firstly take of the dress" she instructed and I zipped it down taking it off leaving me in only my thong... Cause the dress didn't really require a bra.

I held my boobs while Aisha neatly disposed my dress somewhere when someone knocked on the door.

"Who is it" Aisha yelled.

"Its me Natalie" she yelled back.

"Its open" she said and Natalie ran in.

"Oh my god...are you ok, I saw the stain on the seat and I immediately understood" she said and I actually started crying.

"Could this night get any worse" I sniffed.

"Eyaa don't cry" ash tried to comfort me touching my shoulder.

"Don't touch me" I growled at him feeling angrier by the second and he refrained his hand in fear.

"Hey is everything alri....wow" Elliot said walking in eyeing me for a few seconds.

"Dude" ash said stepping in front of me. I honestly didn't have a problem with it, I'm used to standing in front to people half naked because of many outfit changes and my designer is male.

"Sorry" Elliot said slapping his hand on his eyes. "I'll just go" he said walking out.

As Aisha came back.

"Ok I've washed the stain from your dress....do you have another dress" she asked and I shook my head.

"No problem...did you bring anything for your period" she asked and I shook my head sniffing.

"Don't cry, your lucky I have some tampons" she said hugging me.

"Tampons...what are does" I asked...I honestly didn't know.

"Well their like pads, you basically shove them up your vagina and it soaks all the blood and it has a string you can pull when your done" she explained briefly and I gasped in horror.

"Na-ah no way...I'm not using that" I said horrified and nat laughed.

"Lol I thought you might say that, I have some pads too...just clean up while I get them and a new dress" she said and Natalie went into the bathroom with me to wash up.

* Asher's POV *

I sat on the bed feeling as helpless as ever as I waited for Ann to be done.

Why did she snap at me like that, did I do something wrong I thought feeling bad when my mom came in.

"Where is she" she asked and I pointed at the bathroom.

"Ok here are the pads, I guess she's really heavy so I brought this kind and bad news" she said.

"What"

"I don't have a dress small enough for her but I've resolved it" she explained.

"How"

"She'll wear the dress that I'm meant to wear and I'll just wear another one" she said.

"But you've worked so hard for that dress, would you really do that for her" I asked.

"I know she makes you happy, and as long as she's happy, your happy so yes I can sacrifice a dress for you" she said holding my face.

"I love you so much" I said hugging my mother. "Can I ask you something"

"Sure" she said pulling back to look at me.

"Why the fuck did Ann snap at me" I asked and she laughed....I really wanted to know.

"Don't worry its a girl thing, she didn't really mean it....the period makes her get  mood swings and trust me some girls have it bad" she said while putting on the pad for Ann.

"Oh damn" I said.

"Yeah just treat her right and you'll survive" she said when the bathroom door opened.

"She's clean" nat announced as Ann came out in a towel.

"Oh baby your makeup is smudged...don't worry it can be fixed" my mom told her.

I didn't want to make eye contact with Ann worried that she might still be pissed until someone touched me snapping back to reality.

"Are you okay" Ann said with worry.

"Yeah I'm fine, how bout you" I asked.

"Peachy" she said in glee....weird

"Come on let's get you ready" my mom said taking her to the other room.

* Ann's POV *

After adjusting my makeup and stuff it was finally time to wear the new dress.

"No I can't accept this" I declined.

"Look a lot of people are waiting for me, so the sooner you wear it, the sooner I can go downstairs" she said.

"But its your special dress" I reasoned.

"But your my special daughter" she said cupping my cheeks. "Please just wear it" she said looking into my eyes and I just nodded.

I wore the beautiful navy blue dress that had a very deep v neck and was designed with little diamonds around. It was absolutely beautiful and I felt like a queen especially with my tiara and I instantly felt happy again.

Aisha smiled at me and changed into a cobalt blue off shoulder dress that had a long slip by the side and she looked remarkable.

"Shall we" she said giving me a hand

"We shall" I replied and we went back to the hall.

Entering the hall, I looked for asher but I couldn't find him anywhere. I met Elliot and nat and asked where ash was and they pointed at the other side of the hall, following their fingers I saw ash talking to Zara which lit a flame inside me but he seemed to care less about what she was saying. But ash wasn't wearing the suit of before. He wore the tuxedo that George was meant to wear in order to match what I'm wearing.

Aww he's parents are the so cool

I walked up to him and tapped he's shoulder to catch he's attention and he turned just for a big fat smile, not smirk to creep onto he's face.

"Hey princess" he said wrapping he's hands around my waist and I hugged him sticking my tongue out at Zara and she scoffed walking away.

Haha take that bitch...I know petty right?

"I'm not a princess... I'm a queen" I said cockily and he smirked at that.

"And who's your King" he whispered into my ear.

"Jesus Christ" I answered and he bursted into fits of laughter.

"I was expecting to hear me but that was a pretty good answer too" he said.

"Sorry everyone for wasting your time but I have a big announcement to make" Aisha said standing on the stage with George by her side and the orchestra stopped playing their music.

"As you all know George and I went through some rough times but faith and love has brought us and my family back together and I'm so grateful to God for that....I know a lot of you are afraid to let yourself be happy cause you know it never lasts" she said looking at ash then the crowd. "But the key to being happy is knowing you have the power to choose what to accept and what to let's go...so what I'm trying to say is  be with someone who understands how rare your love is" she concluded and we clapping for her.

"Anyway .. He proposed to me again and I happily accepted, but I decided not to have another wedding but the main point is I'm still legally Mrs Noles again" she said modeling her right hand for everyone to see the Ring and we gave the happy couple a round of applause.

I love the way it was straight to the point

"Thank you very much... But that's not the important announcement" she said when the room quiet down and we waited in anticipation.

"The big announcement is...oh my God I can't do this" she said shyly.

"Just spill the tea woman" a lady shouted from the crowd.

"After many years of trying, I'm finally blessed with a baby...I'm Two months pregnant" she announced and I felt ash freeze beside me as the crowd roared in cheers.

I looked at ash and he just generally looked overwhelmed, I  squeezed he's hand lightly and he blinked a few times then looked at me.

"Did I hear correctly" he asked baffled and I nodded with a smile.

"Yeah...your gonna be a big brother" I said.

"Liam my son, your having a sibling" she said into the microphone. "Do you want to know what the gender is" she asked excited and we all screamed a loud yes.

"Ok here's the reveal" she said and a door opened exposing lots of pink balloons and confetti. "I'm having a girl" she said and she & George kissed and came down the stage to receive lots of compliments.

"A little sister" ash whispered in disbelief he's eye's getting watery.

"Aww congrats ash." I said hugging him and he hugged me back.

So is this a dinner, engagement or gender release party...to many things were happening.

"My man congrats...maybe angel and your sis could have play dates" Elliot said walking towards us and ash smiled.

"Congratulations ash" Natalie said hugging him.

"Thanks Nat.. I have to go see my mom" he said and we walked to where he's parents were.

As soon as ash was in the sights of he's mom she started crying.

* Asher's POV *

I can't believe it, after all the pains and struggle, she's finally getting what she wants, what she deserves. I can finally have someone to call my own, to protect that's blood.

As soon as I locked eyes with her, I could see the emotional tears in her eyes as I stood in front of her.

I didn't even know what to say to her. "A girl" I asked.

"A girl" she said bursting into tears and hugging me tightly.

"Congratulations Mr Noles" Ann told my dad.

"Please, your family call me George" he said hugging her.

"I love you mom,you deserve the best" I said whipping her tears and she nodded.

"Thanks baby" she said and Ann pushed me aside .

"Oh my God...congratulations" she squealed hugging my mum and I went to my dad looking him straight in the eye as he smirks.

"You sneaky old man" I smirked and  engulfed me in a big man hug.

"Your mother is blessing me with another child...I'm one more step to the 4 children I want" he said and I chuckled.

"Damn...all the attention would soon be stolen from me" I joked and he patted my shoulder, thinking he was going to say something encouraging.

"Yes it will" he said and we both laughed.

"Ok everyone time for the big dance" a lady announced and we took our partners to the middle.

"May I have this dance" I offered and Ann gladly took my hand.

* Ann's POV *

Ash escorted me to the middle of the ballroom and asked me to dance which I gladly accepted. The orchestra played the instrumentals of perfect by Ed sheeran as he held my hand and wrapped the other round my waist pulling my closer while I placed a hand on he's shoulder and followed he's footsteps.

"You look absolutely remarkable tonight" ash tried complimenting in my British accent but failed miserably making me laugh and wrap my arms around he's neck.

We danced for a while but I can't seem to ignore the rhythm in his chest.

"Ash, your heart is racing... What are you thinking about" I asked but he just held me tighter as we swayed.

"My heart is beating for you...I have completely fallen for you. Everything you do, everything you say, everything you are. Your my first thought in the morning, your my last thought before I fall asleep and your almost every thought in between" he said slowly and carefully as different emotions build inside of me. Butterflies going while in my stomach.

"I get so jealous because I know how easily replaceable I am...I'm nothing special...please don't replace me anytime soon" he said and I couldn't handle it anymore, contemplating on what he just said.

"Are you okay" he asked pulling back a little just to see me crying, and he looked at me

"What's wrong" he asked brushing my hair out of my face.

"Your special....your special to me ash" I sniffed. "I love you so fucking much" I said looking down crying even more and he lifted my chin up with he's finger.

"That's all I needed to hear" he said then captured my lips with he's, feeling every love and passion in he's heart through he's lips.

"Awwwwwwwww" some people said making us pull apart and they started clapping for us.

I looked back at ash and kissed him once more then hugged him.

"Maybe one day we can have a soccer team of our own" he smirked making me giggle.

"Ok ladies and gentlemen...thank you for joining us in this memorable night and wish to see you all at the baby shower" George said and we resumed our dancing before calling it a night.
