Chapter 30: Transfer

Its the second day of test....so exciting. NOT. Its going well but I just wanna go home. Thank God I just have four papers today.

I've currently written the first 3 and its time for snacks break, so we're at our usual spot eating and chatting.

"How was literature" Henry asked Nay.

"It was nice..ish" she replied.

"So where are you guys spending the break" Caleb asked us.

"Abuja" I said

"Same" Henry and Naomi said.

"Enugu" Natalie said.

"Nice....I'll be in calabar for the carnival" Caleb said.

"Oh yeah...put it on your snap so we could be updated" I advised.

"Sure thing...and you Fay" he said.

"I'll be in Lagos then Russia then Italy to see my cousins" she replied.

"Damn money dey flow o" I said in pidgin.

"I know right...my dad is a player for PSG and my mom is a model" she said.

"Wow...abeg hook me up with a player, I've always wanted to marry a footballer" I said.

"Lol, hey what if we go somewhere on my Jet...I'll be alone for a couple of days" she said.

"You have a private jet" Nat asked in disbelief.

"Well Austin and I share it" she said.

"Damn, I need to find myself a modelling career" Nat joked

"So who's in" fay asked.

"Not me, mum wouldn't allow me" I said. What she probably wouldn't.

"Yeah me too" nat said.

"Carnival" caleb said and we looked at henry and nay but they were arguing about something.

Fay coughed loudly to get their attention and they looked at as confused.

"Would you like to join me" fay offered.

"Nah I'll pass" henry said.

"Yeah me too" nay said.

"Poo" fay pouted. But I kept on looking at the both of them, nay looks tensed and nervous but I shrugged it off.

"Anyway we could face time and  create a group ch.." Fay was babbling before nay spoke up.

"Emm guys" she said and we looked at her.

"I..I mean we have something important to tell you guys" she continued.

"Then spill the tea" I said.

"Well you see... Henry is a sweet guy and I know we've been at each other's throats before but.." She struggled.

"Oh for the love of God...you two are dating" nat said pointing at nay and hen.

She was wide eyed but then started blushing hard. We looked at each other then started laughing. But Henry was just smirking.

"How..how did you know" nay asked.

"Dude its obvious" caleb said.

"Don't worry we totally ship it" fay encouraged

"Yeah we knew your ship sailed long ago" nat said.

"But why didn't you wanna tell us tho" I asked.

"Well I didn't want it to ruin our friend circle" she said.

"How" I asked.

"You know me paying attention to her and us doing our love shit instead of doing stupid stuff together" henry said.

"Oh ok...but your not gonna do that right" I said and Henry grinned.

"We'll try" he said the pecked nay.

RING!!!,the bell rang and we left to class.

I just finished lunch and was about to go to hostel to sleep when Jordan came up to me.

"Hey Ann" she said and I turned to look down at her.

"Hey muffin" I said.

"Could you please follow me to class to gather some stuffs" she pleaded.

"Must it be now" I whined.

"Yes" she smiled.

"Must it be me" I whined.

"I want it to be you, plus your stronger than my set mates" she said

"Uggh ok let's go" I said defeated by her cuteness.

"Yay but first we have to go to bursar's office" she said.

"For what" I asked.

"They have to calculate how much money I've spent this half term" she said.

"I know its a lot" I said .

"Yeah" she giggled and we went to the office.

We got there and I sat down waiting for her while she proceeded on making her enquiry. She came out shortly after then we passed and we were about to leave when we reached the principal's office and heard a lady speak in a delightful language.

"What are you doing" Jordan asked as we stopped.

"Ease dropping, can you hear that,its beautiful" I said pressing my ear against the door. And Jordan did the same and listened.

"The lady is speaking Spanish" she whispered. "She's talking about a transfer and senior uniforms for boys" Jordan whispered.

"Well whatever it is she should keep talking, its pleasant" I said and Jordan giggled. Then suddenly the door Handle shock and we looked at each other in horror, luckily there were some seats in front of the office and we quickly ran to them.

We sat down and pretended to wait for something when a beautiful woman came out and we greeted her. She smiled and waves at us and I let out a breath of relief.

"Ok that's enough snooping around" let's get those stuffs you were talking about" I said and we left.

Its the last day. Yaaaaaay.

I was sweating my brains out writing my last paper, DP and as soon as I was done cross checking, I ran out of the door as fast as my excitement could hold itself, then when I came back to reality I went back to carry my bag which I forgot. Ha ha Stupid me.

I went to the box room and took my box and ran to hostel to start packing. I set my box down and looked around my  dorm.

"Now where to begin" I thought.

"Start with your clothes" SC said.

"But I want to start with my shoes and cosmetics" I said.

"Ok then start with that" SC said.

"No your right I should start with my clothes"

"Bitch make up your mind" SC said.

"You know what, fuck it. I'm going to bed" I thought and slept off.

"Wake up its time for lunch.. Sophia would soon start counting" Nat said waking me up.

"What time is it" I groaned.

"2:30" she answered.

"5 more minutes" I whined and she dragged me to the floor.

"Ok ok I'm up" I said standing up, talking my cutlery from my bag and heading downstairs still in my uniform.

We were peacefully eating our foods but Caleb won't shut up about his stupid moi moi.

"Like seriously think about it" he said.

"No one is ever gonna think about making moi moi cake for a wedding" Nat said bursting his bubble.

"But its so delicious, it has to me a thing" he whined and I just laughed at his stupidity.

* Elliot's POV *

I was looking at Natalie, we haven't talked in a while, and she's smiling her smile is so beautiful.

"Stop looking at her" asher poked my head from across the table, bringing me back to reality and the boys snickered.

"Sorry...do you want to go eat with them" I asked.

"Sure" James smiled.

"Whatever" Austin shrugged.

"Why should we do that" asher said giving me a  'the fuck' face.

"Why can't we" I said.

"Touché" he said dipping his hand into a bag of chips.

"And stop eating junk good" I said throwing the bag of chips on the floor and stepping on it. "Go eat something healthy, and actually food" I said and he left to get food.

"Ok let's go" I said and we left asher behind carrying our trays to Ann's table.

We got there and they were laughing about something.

"Hey guys" I  greeted and Nat looked at me like what the fuck are you doing here.

"Mind if we join" James said but Austin already took a seat next to favour and kissed her cheek.

* Ann's POV *

I looked at the rest of the gang and they didn't go against it, nodding in approval.

"Sure" I said and they bounced some guys on the other table from their seats. Poor guys.

"Hey sis ready to see David, Trent and Lilly" Austin said.

"Yeah duuh" she replied.

"Who are they" we asked.

"Our cousins" he replied.

"Oh" we said then a seat screeched and a loud umff was heard and we turned back to see the poor boy rubbing his ass on the floor and Asher seating next to Nay.

"That was mean ash" James said.

"You would have at least told the boy to get up" Elliot said.

"Don't care" he said shrugging. "And didn't I tell you to get healthy food" he continued.

"What, skittles has fruit and vitamins inside"ash defended.

" yeah vitamin chem" Caleb joked and we all laughed.

"What did you say" asher glared at him looking up from his date with his skittles.

"Nothing" he said looking the other way.

"Dumbass" I commented and he threw a handful of skittles at me and I gladly picked it from my body and ate.

"So what were y'all talking about before we came" Elliot said.

"Caleb thinks moi moi cake would be ideal for a wedding" Nat said.

"Eww" the boys said except Ash tho.

"I actually think that's possible" ash said.

"See he gets it" caleb said.

"Your wedding cake will be moi moi cake"James shot and we laughed.

" so James where you staying for the break" I asked.

"London" he said.

"Dope" I commented and we high fived.

"How bout you" I said referring to Elliot

"Paris...I got this supreme shoot I have to do" he explained.

"Ahhh" we said.

"Well I'm off, I gotta get some beauty sleep" Austin said getting up.

"Yeah he calls it that but wakes up looking uglier that squidward" James said but Austin just scoffed.

"I should be going too, to get actual beauti sleep" James said and we all laughed.

"Yeah I should go too" caleb said. "Bye dimple" he said kissing my cheek.

"Bye" I said kissing him back.

"Yeah and I need to talk to Natalie privately" Elliot said taking her to another table.

"I guess I'll go too then" fay said and winked at Asher and I.

It was only both of us left and asher kept in digging into his skittles like I didn't exist. "So...well bye" I said getting up.

"Wait...seat" he stopped me and I sat back down.

He stood up came to my side and gave me the remaining bag of skittles, and I just looked at it and back at him.

"Enjoy" he smirked and left. That son of a bitch. But I Gladly took it and left after him.

So Bella and Ella called Nat and I to pack for them since their too lazy to.

"Do I have to" I whined.

"Yep" Bella said popping the p.

"But I've not even done mine" I whined.

"Can't you shut up and do it like Nat" she said.

"But I'm not Nat" I whined and dramatically collapsed on the floor.

"Ann" she called out but I didn't move.

"Ann" she called again but I tried not to laugh before I blow my cover.

"Ann 5...4" please noo, not that.

"3..2" she continued.... Dammit.

"Ok ok I'm up" I frowned standing.

"Good start with my locker then my bed then the rest of the bed...thanks" she said then kissed my cheek and tapped my head like her pet.

I knelt down in front of her locker and looked at the other corner at Nat and she stuck her tongue out. Bitch.

After sometime I was almost done packing Bella's things.

"Hey I'm done" nat said.

"Congrats now come and help me so we can leave" I said and she came to help me.

We were finally done, just remaining to zip up the box which was quite difficult.

"Ok you sit and I'll zip" I instructed and she sat on the box while I tried to zip it which eventually did.

"Thank God" I said panting.

"You wanna go outside" she asked.

"Just say you want me to escort you to meet Elliot" I smirked

"Lol yeah" she grinned and we went outside.

We were outside and we look around for Elliot which was difficult cause it was dark and he normally wears black but eventually saw him with a group of seniors and we approached them.

"Excuse me, just dropping off my friend" I said intruding sweetly.

"Take care of my friend" I said grabbing Elliot's collar then releasing him.

I was going back to hostel when I thought. "What will I be doing there sef".

" Packing " SC said.

"But I don't want to" I mentally whined.

"Suit yourself, I'm out" SC said and I looked around and saw a group of my class mates and I went to gist with them.

"Sup people" I greeted and they greeted back. They where sharing lollipops.

"Here have one" James in my class said handing me a strawberry flavoured one.

"Thanks" I said and we chatted for a while.

*Asher's POV*

I was gisting with my set mates when a group of sophomores were laughing loudly and I turned to tell them to shut up but I saw Ann among them. Hmm, well I want to play I'm bored.

I called the nearest junior and sent them to call Ann.

* Ann's POV *

We were laughing like crazy cause of the conversion we were having when someone tapped me and I turned.

"Chris what's up" I smiled at him. ( A/N: Chris is the boy Ann sent to call Caleb and Henry on visiting day).

"I'm good" he said. "Emm Liam is calling you" he said and Caleb whined beside me.

"Why is this boy always spoiling my show" Caleb whined with his arm currently around my shoulder.

"I'm sorry monkey" I said releasing myself from his grip. We'll talk before I go home tomorrow.

"Oh and tell asher I said fuck him" Caleb said annoyed and I laughed. He wouldn't dare.

"Will do" he said and I walked beside him to meet Asher.

* Asher's POV *

I waited under the tree near caf where I spoke to Ann on my birthday. I kinda like this place, its nice. I was focusing on the grass with my hands in my pockets when two pair of feet appeared in from of me and I looked up to meet big brown eyes.

"Thanks man" I said to Chris.

"No p and Caleb said.." And Ann stepped on his foot.

"Dude" she glared at him and I was so confused.

"Ow" he smirked and left.

"What was that about" I asked.

"Nothing" she said. I knew she was lying and stepped closer to her.

"Tell me...I won't hurt him" I said. I'm totally lying, I'll treat his fuck up.

"Its nothing I promise" she said.

"Ok" I shrugged it off...and looked her from head to toe.

"Nice sweats" I teased looking at her cream coloured sweats.

"Shut up I'm not meant to be outside" she said then looked down embarrassed.

"Are you blushing" I said bending down to look at her face.

"No" she looked the other way. "So why did you call me" she said after calming down.

"Must I always have a reason" I said.

"Well not really" she shrugged.

"I called you so we could talk" I simply said. What its true.

"Oh really" she wiggled her eyebrows and I chuckled. God she's silly.

"Ase don't tease, that's my thing" I said.

"And who said it can't be my thing" she said coming closer smirking at me. Where did this confidence come from.

"Cuz I'm the master here" I said. And she came even closer stretching up to my face.

Lol she's still short.

"And I'm the pet, but for me to maintain you have to treat me Right" she said then bite my lowers lip, dragged it a little then released it.

What the fuck just happened.

Oh Jesus that felt good

"Hmm" she smirked.

" well..um..i " I struggled to say as her little stunt was still on my mind.

"Oh my God" she said as if she just heard the best news ever.

"What" I asked regaining myself.

"Your flustered and your cheeks are reddening" she said amused.

"Yes! the king is flu.." She yelled before I stopped her victory by closing her mouth and pulling her back and she hits her back on my chest and looks back.

"You may have won this round" I said then lowered my head to her ear.

"But I'll win game" I said nibbling on her earlobe. God this feels right.

* Ann's POV *

Is this guy playing with me, one minute he's nice to me and flirting then the next he's totally pissing me off.

But what ever game this is, I have to be a smart player. But this feels so right. But no not again, not ever.

And I stepped forward and turned looking into his amber eyes.

"At least I won a round" I said shrugging  innocently, like that did not just almost make my knees fail me.

"You did...congrats" he said tapping d bridge of my nose. "My little pet is becoming a master" he dramatically said whipping a fake tear. "Almost" he smirked.

"What" i asked confused. Then he took the lollipop from my lips and gave me a small peck on the lips and put the sweet in his mouth.

"I win" he smirked and my jaw almost reached the ground. Unbelievable.

RING!!! 10pm.

"Ok gotta go bye" I ran off.

I ran to Elliot and took her hand and ran too. "Sorry and bye Elliot" I said and we ran to hostel.

"Must it be now" JJ whined.

"Yep" I replied.

"Must it be me" Jordan whined.

"Yep...i want it to be you..see how the table has turned" I teased and she pouted.

"Ok thanks sha...now start with everything in my locker then the rest of my stuff then you're free to go. I'll do my bed in the morning" I said and she got to work and I jumped on my bed or Nat's rather.

"Ah this is the life" I thought and slept off.
