Chapter 24:

Playlist : Cash me outside by DJ suede the remix God.

I was on my bed reading a novel when  someone tapped my butt and it jiggled. I looked at what caused it expecting my setmate but it was Jordan who was grinning like a fool.

"Hey" she waved.

"Sup dear" I sat up looking at her.

"I came to stay with you" she beamed.

"Sure...come sit" I said providing space for her on my bed and she climbed.

"So what you wanna do" she asked.

"Well I was reading a novel... But I also need to loosen my hair" I answered.

"I could do it" she said. Why is she so excited, but hey free errand.

"Really thanks" I squealed and laid down reading my book once more while she sat on my but loosening my hair.

"So how was the competition" I asked.

"It was cool, I got 2nd place. Won $2000" she replied.

"Wow that's nice. You try" I said.

"Thxs"

"So what you gonna use the money for" I asked.

"Probably to buy a dog".she grinned

" lol ok"I said. "You know you have a grandmother" I informed.

"Who"she asked.

"Bella"

"Nice choice" she said and I smiled.

After about an hour she was finally done. "Thanks" I said as she combed my hair.

"No p...you have soft,long, curly hair" she stated.

"I know right ,thanks its natural" I said.

"Figured...sha bye" she said. and I gave her oreos that I got from Bella before she left.

I went out looking for who to talk to cause I didn't want to watch TV and luckily I saw James and Asher talking with  their set mates and I walked over to them and as for Liam, since I'm his property, he should come and take care of me.

I grabbed  a handful of their hair, God it was soft and dragged them to pathway. When we got there I released them.

"Hey what was that for" James whined.

"Yh what's wrong with you bitch" ash said in pain.

"I'm bored and I missed you James" I said sweetly.

"Aww I missed you too" he replied.

"And as for me" ash shot.

" I just wanted to pull your hair" I said sticking out my tongue and he rolled his eyes.

"So your bored what do you want us to do about it" ash said annoyed.

"Hey don't be rude to her" James defended.

"Thank you and I was hoping we could talk" I beamed and ash let out a long sigh.

"Ok whatever since I'm already here" ash said and we all walked along.

"So what's up mama" James said.

"I'm cool...but as for Liam here I don't know. Where have you been...your scarce" I said.

"Aww she missed me" ash teased and I hit him.

"Anyway I've been busy with head boy shit and preparing for visiting day with James" he replied.

"Shit! Visiting day. I've not called" I panicked and they chuckled. "Abeg later" I waved off.

"So how are you preparing for CAT" I asked and they laughed their heads off.

"What" I asked confused.

"Oh baby" jay said tapping my head. "We're in ss3...we don't do CAT...I heard gist that SMT will make seniors write the test but I doubt" James said.

"Oh" was all I managed to say.

"So who's coming for your visiting day" jay asked.

"My mum...dad's too busy" I replied. "How bout you" I asked

"My mum...emm dad's dead" he said plainly.

"Oh I'm sorry...and you Liam" I asked.

"Dad probably" he replied.

"Hmm ok...bye nice talking to you guys. I'm sure blackish has started by now" I said and left.

I was about to climb upstairs to go to TV room when I remembered I haven't called then entered our matron's room and met the lady that looked in her late 40s.

"Miss Theresa  please can I call" I requested.

"Please dear call me Tessa" she said

.

"Ok" I said.

"And sure take the phone from the table" she instructed and I took it and made my call.

On the phone:

"Hello" my mum said picking up.

"Hi mum" I squealed cause I missed her so much.

"Hey baby...I miss you" she said.

"I miss you too...good afternoon" I said.

"Afternoon" she greeted back. "So how is school" she asked.

"You'll find out when you come tomorrow" I said.

"Why would I come" she asked confused.

"Its visiting day" I beamed.

"Oh...well ok I'll just rearranged all my meetings... When should I come" she asked.

"Come by 2" I said.

"Ok ...what should I bring" she asked.

"You know what I like...surprise me" I said

"Lol ok bye see you soon" she said

"Bye" I said and hung up.

"Thanks" I said handing Tessa the phone.

"How's Agnes" she asked.

"My mum's fine" I answered, apparently she and my mum are friends.

"Is she coming" she asked.

"Yeah" I said and left her room running to TV room.

Squeezing in between Nay % Nat in TV room. "Mum is coming o" I told Nat.

"Cool mine too" she said.

"Hope tomorrow would be fun" I said.

"Swear" she said.

"What have you guys been doing" I asked.

"Watching TV...I want to sleep sef" Nay said.

"You guys don't want to play pool or table tennis or air hockey...I mean their right behind us" I said and they looked at each other.

"Nah" they replied.

"Couch potatoes" I commented.

"Where is Fay" I asked.

"Sleeping" they said and we watched away.
