Chapter 21: Detention

* Ann's POV *

Nat and I have been really distant since what she said , it hurt but favour has been trying to make things better. We were going for snacks break and I got pudding cause fay got it and said I should try it.

We sat down with Caleb and henry and shortly after, Nat and Nay came in holding big slices of cake.

" I thought it was only yesterday " Nat said interrupting me from my delicacy. Turns out chocolate pudding ain't that bad.

* Natalie's POV *

I entered the hall and I saw fay feeding Ann a spoon of chocolate pudding and she loved it. She doesn't even like pudding and I decided to get chocolate cake with nat.

As I got closer I realised that she was on my seat again and I was furious.

* Favour's POV *

"Yeah but I forgot and I was trying chocolate" Ann said.

"You don't even like pudding" Nat said.

"Yeah but I like this one...plus fay said its nice and its chocolate, how could I resist that" Ann defended. Sick and tired of their bickering I decided to step in.

"How is it even worrying you that I'm next to Ann.... I'm I chopping her" I asked annoyed.

"Shut up I'm not talking to you" she shot.

"But I'm talking to you" I shot back

(a/n: damn girl you show her a piece of your mind).

"Ok I'm worried cause its my seat" she said.

"And how is it doing you that I gave her pudding... People can try new things...to me your just being childish" she said.

"Oh is that so...is this childish enough" she said and dumped cake on my hair. And I got up and looked at her.

* Natalie's POV *

She has been vexing me since and she not even sorry and has the  balls to call me childish. Piece of shit. Let me just add another shade of brown to what she is and dumped my chocolate cake on her.

Satisfied, looking at my cake dripping down her uniform as Ann and the rest were shocked as fuck. Fay got up,looked at me then slammed pudding on my face and all over my uniform.

"You piece of...ass" I growled too angry to swear properly and lunged myself on her dragging her hair like I was playing tug of war.

* Ann's POV *

Caleb, henry, nay and I and the rest of the students watched them fight , some amused and cheering and others confused and shocked while I was scared cause Natalie can kill, so I rushed  and jumped into the fight pulling Nat back.

"Natalie please stop...what happened to using our words" I said as I received a few scratches of my own and she finally got of fay.

"Leave me alone, why do you care" she asked.

"Cause your fucking up fay" I answered. And she stepped back looking hurt.

"Oh ! So its only her you care about now" she pointed at fay accusingly.

"And your my best friend" I said softly.

"Bitch" fay said from behind cleaning some blood cause of Nat's nails.

"What did you say" Nat glared at fay. Ow oh. and jumped her again and we tried breaking them up.

"Do you know its because of you this is happening" Nat spat.

"And so what if she likes me better ...no one wants to be your friend" fay shot.

"Damn this girl dey try her luck o" I thought.

"Oh yeah...not after this they won't" she said with a mischievous smile and attacked her again like a crazy dog.

The tree of us started fighting again , soon enough some staff and students came, Elliot jacked Nat from the waist stopping Ber from going to jail for murder ,Caleb also pulled me out and Rylie and Nat got to Fay then a man now came.

"Three of you guidance councillor after school" he said sternly then we went back to our classes while rylie piggy backed fay to sick bay.

The 3 of us were waiting outside the guidance councillor's office and fay entered first, Nat was trialed second and came out crying. Wow wonder what happened in there. and it came to my turn.

I entered the beautiful office with a vintage theme and was surprised to see who was seating on the big brown chair.

Principal's office above.

"Mrs King...your the guidance councillor" I asked.

"Yes, please call me Royalty... Take a seat" she offered with a smile and I sat down.

"Now what's the matter" she asked being serious now.

"To be honest, I'm not even sure...Nat just started being distant and hating on favour and I especially fay" I explained.

"You see Ann, Natalie likes favour very much but she feels neglected by you.

" by me?" I gasped.

"Yes and replaced...and she thinks favour is the cause of that, and Nat loves you very much and doesn't want to loose you" she explained.

"Wow I never saw it that way...I understand completely how it feels" I said.

"So you guys should try and work things out, let bygones be bygones. Do me I do you man no go vex" she said with her British accent and I laughed.

"Ok ma" I said.

"Good.. So you, chioma and Olivia are gonna be in the detention room till dinner after lunch and by the time your out everything should have settled" she said.

"Ok...but who is Olivia" I asked confused

"Its favour...that's her middle name" she informed.

"Oh k...and why are you the guidance councillor" I asked out of amebo .

"Cause I want to..I own this shit" she stated and I chuckled. "Now go for lunch" she said an I left.

After food, I walked to the detention room which was at the far end of the school and I greeted the guard sitting in front of it. I opened the door and I saw that they were only 3 lockers and 3 chairs and Nat and Fay already occupied one each , fay reading an Archie comic and Nat filing her nails that got ruined during the fight.

I looked at them for a while and decided to speak out. "Hey guys" I greeted.

Silence.

"What's up with the guard outside" I asked.

"To make sure I don't claw her eyes out" Nat said pointing the file at fay.

"And to make sure we settle" fay said.

"Ok" I simply said and took a seat taking out a novel from my bag.

The suspense was killing me, I just had to ask. "Sooo..." I started and we looked at each other.

"So what" fay asked.

"So what happened.... What lead to this" I pointed at the space between us.

"What happened is that you left me for Fay" nat said nonchalantly.

"Oh no I didn't we just" I tried to explain

"Shut up you did...you didn't talk to me,  we didn't do our usual stuff, you were always with fay. It was always fay this and Fay that...and..and I felt neglected" she said angry then softened and started sobbing. I looked at fay and she just shrugged not knowing what to do either.

"From the day we met at the airport, when we were 7 and helped me tie my shoe lace, we instantly clicked and I didn't want you to leave...good enough we found out that our dads worked in the same embassy and we became best friends... Your the best person I have in my life right now so when I saw you with fay like that I got scared and jealous" she said sobbing into her hands.

"I'm so fucking sorry" she concluded cleaning her tears and I went to comfort her.

"I'm sorry too, I never knew you felt that way. I didn't even see it that way. I love you so fucking much, no body could ever have with me what I have with you as a best friend. You have been with me through thick and thin . the love between fay and I just grew cause of Rylie" I said hugging nat then pulled her head from my neck and asked.

"What about Rylie"

"He likes me"  Fay said grinning and nat chuckled.

"I'm sorry for fucking you up...I was just angry" Nat said honestly.

"No p and I'm sorry for making you feel that way" fay said spreading her arms for a hug and Nat Hugged her.

"So do you like ry back" nat asked.

"Duhh...he's hot and funny...I've had a crush on him since jss3 (freshman year)" fay said.

"Ann and I have been talking about it. That's how the bond became stronger" fay added.

"Cool" nat said

"So don't ever feel left out again...I can never replace you" I said and she nodded.

"So we all good" fay asked.

"We good" we said and we all high fived at the middle.

So after our 5hour detention we went for dinner and the whole gang ate and gisted in peace.
