Chapter 15

My Neighbor's TV (girlxgirl)

I was getting ready for a night out, if you could consider going to my neighbor's house a 'night out'.

I honestly didn't want to go, seeing as there would be other people I didn't know. But Ann forced me. She insisted so much that had I request anything, I was sure she would have done it as long as I agreed to go.

My parents had gone out for the night while my brother was at a sleepover party, so I was home alone and I was casually avoiding looking at the time. I wished I could just lay down and fall asleep, instead of having to socialize with people I didn't know and with whom I had nothing in common.

I sighed when I heard my phone ring, I was expecting a message or something from Ann to remind me that I was late and here it was. I let it go to voicemail and finally got up, getting the keys and putting on a pair of shoes.

I knocked on Ann's door and she opened instantly, smiling brightly at me.

"You're late."

"Yeah, I fell asleep." I said and glanced towards the living room, hearing chatter coming out of that direction. Ann had told me she'd invited just a couple of her friends plus me and her sister.

I followed her and found myself in front of three girls sitting on the couch. I recognized her sister who smiled warmly up at me while the other two girls stared curiously.

"Guys, this is Cam." Ann announced, then pointing from left to right. "Cam, my sister Kaylee, Chloe and Emma."

I smiled tentatively. "Hello."

Kaylee was the first to speak and tried her best to make me feel comfortable even though I was kind of the outsider of the group.

We moved to the kitchen and sat around the table as we watched Emma cook. Emma was pretty short, she barely reached my shoulders and was in general tiny. She had short blonde hair and a pretty face. She'd offered to cook for everyone tonight since she was apparently the only one who was remotely good at it.

In front of me, sitting on a stool, was Chloe. She had a short dress on that accentuated everything that could be accentuated on her body. She was tall and fit and attractively confident in her body. I actually wondered if she was planning on going somewhere else with that outfit but didn't comment.

Kaylee had dyed her hair red and this time was dressed more casually than the last time I saw her.

Next to me was Ann, who was bantering with her sister and Chloe while stealing glances at me, checking if I was okay.

I found myself smiling at their antics and laughing at whatever Kaylee said, she was funny and the most outgoing of the group.

"So, Cam. How's school going?" Kaylee asked when they had quieted down and I felt everyone turn their attention to me.

"It's going well, I actually have exams coming up."

"Ugh, that was the worst part of college. Hope they go well."

"Yeah, hopefully I'll pass."

At that point Emma turned around and announced that it was ready, making everyone cheer. Ann helped serving and when everyone sat down we got ready to eat.

"Wait, we have to say a prayer first." Kaylee said.

I must have looked at her weirdly because she laughed.

"As if you believe in God." Emma interjected, rolling her eyes and taking her fork in her hand.

I looked down at my plate, it was some type of pasta with broccoli. I wasn't crazy about pasta (or broccoli even) but I ate pretty much anything so I had no complaints.

Across the table, Chloe made a disgusted face. "I get that the two of you are vegetarian... But do you really have to stick broccoli in everything you cook?"

I guessed the vegetarians were Kaylee and Emma because Ann wasn't.

"I don't stick broccoli in everything, those green things you usually see are called vegetables." Emma replied.

I heard Ann laughing and turned to look at her.

"I know what vegetables are, this just..." She took a forkful of pasta and looked at it dubiously, before eating it and chewing it slowly. "Uhm... This... actually tastes good." She then said making everyone laugh and resume their eating.

After dinner we moved to the living room, taking a couple of chairs with us since there wasn't enough space for everyone on the couch.

I sat on the chair that I placed near the coffee table while Chloe and Emma sat on the couch, as we waited for the others to come.

Ann arrived first, brushing her hand against my shoulders when she passed me and sat down on the chair next to me.

And then in came Kaylee with two bottles, of what I presumed must have been alcohol, in her hands.

Ann narrowed her eyes at her. "Where did those come from?"

Kaylee shrugged as she put them on the small table. "Oh, I hid them in my bag so the police couldn't take them."

Ann rolled her eyes as Kaylee grinned triumphantly. When I laughed, Ann turned around to glare at me.

"Who's side are you on?" She asked menacingly.

"Yours, obviously."

"Chloe, Em help me bring the shot glasses." Kaylee ordered.

When Chloe protested, she said. "Remember I know all your secrets."

That got her going and left me and Ann alone for a moment.

"So?" She asked.

"So what?"

"It's not so bad, is it?"

"Uhm, alcohol will help." I said and watched her shake her head disapprovingly.

"If you're sleeping here, you better not get plastered. I'm not going to hold your head over the toilet as you vomit your guts out."

"Okay, mom."

Kaylee came back holding five shot glasses all in one hand. At my amazed look she shrugged. "Years of being a waitress."

Behind her Chloe and Emma came back empty handed.

When they all settled down, Kaylee started pouring the shots. "We should play some childish game," She announced, "like Never Have I Ever, what do you say Annie?" She smirked at her sister.

Ann shook her head. "I won't play."

"Oh, come on. I'm sure even Cam would play, right?" She looked at me questioningly.

It's not like I could say no, so I just nodded and felt Ann's disapproving stare on me again.

"Fine, but I'll start." Ann said then. "Never have I ever puked on my sister's bed."

Kaylee's eyes widened. "That was only once! And I asked for your forgivness a million times!" She downed her shot. "Never have I ever... kissed a girl."

I gulped and saw Emma and Chloe reach down for their shots, so I did as well while looking at Ann out of the corner of my eye. She was not moving and I wondered why she was lying. I downed my shot and put it back down, noticing then Kaylee staring at her sister. Then Kaylee poured herself another shot and downed it again.

"What's the point in saying things you've done?" Ann asked.

"So I can get drunk, duh!" Kaylee replied and poured everyone a new shot.

We continued with the game for ten more minutes until Kaylee and Chloe had downed something like five shots each, Emma three and me and Ann only two.

Kaylee shook her head. "This isn't working, we were supposed to get Annie drunk, not ourselves." She said.

At Ann's appalled expression she added. "We'll play another game. In turn we ask each other a question and you can either reply or drink."

Then she got up and made me change seat with her so that she could be sitting next to Ann, while I ended up on the couch between Chloe and Emma.

"So, Ann. Tell us about the last time you touched yourself." Kaylee started.

"That's not a question." Ann replied, smirking.

"She's right." Emma added. "You blew your chance."

Kaylee pouted and sank into her chair.

"Chloe, have you ever fallen asleep during sex?"

"Hey! That's perfectly normal... uhm, it's happened, like, a couple of times maybe."

Everyone laughed and then she turned towards me. "Cam, uhm... Who was the last person you kissed?"

I felt myself blush, I couldn't possibly say 'your friend Ann, but it was totally my fault', could I?

"I pass." I said and downed my shot.

"That's not fair." Kaylee whined. I glanced towards Ann, who was looking down aware of why I hadn't answered.

"Emma," I started, unsure of what to ask. "Have you ever regretted sleeping with someone?"

"Oh yeah, many people." She turned towards Kaylee, "Have you ever had a friend with benefits?"

"Of course, who hasn't?" She replied casually and then grinned. "It's my turn. Dear sis, if you could sleep with anyone in this room, excluding me, who would you choose?"

Ann made a disgusted face. "Ew, pass." And she took her shot.

"What do you mean 'ew'? Have you seen me?" Chloe complained.

At that moment the doorbell rang and Ann got up to answer it. She came back with a tall, dark haired man who had his arm wrapped around her shoulder.

I looked at them and couldn't help but feel jealous, I wasn't expecting her boyfriend or whoever that was to be here tonight.

"Joshieee! You made it." Kaylee got up and went to hug him, kissing him on both cheeks.

"Hey, don't you have a soon to be husband?" He asked playfully and she smacked his arm.

"Hi, Josh." Greeted him Emma while Chloe remained silent and blushed when he turned to look at her.

Oh, so that explained the dress and the blushing. I felt weirdly relieved that he wasn't Ann's anything.

"Josh, this is Cam. My neighbor." Ann said and I got up to shake his hand.

"Nice to finally meet you, Cam." He said charmingly.

Finally?

They, and by they I mean Kaylee and Ann, made him sit down on the couch next to Chloe. Emma got up as well and the four of us subtly moved to the kitchen.

Emma made gag sounds. "I'm not going to be sitting next to them."

"Aren't they cute? It's about time they hook up." Kaylee beamed. "He's going to drive us home and since Chloe lives the farthest from here, they'll remain alone after he drops me and Em off."

"As long as they don't start making out in front of me." Emma said.

"What about the two of you?" Kaylee turned towards me and Ann.

"What about us?" Ann asked.

"What are you gonna do without us here?"

"Sleep." Ann deadpanned.

"Uh huh."

After Kaylee's idea to finish all the remaining alcohol, making everyone beside Josh drink, I was starting to feel dizzy.

As they all got up, ready to leave, I leaned on the wall, afraid that I would fall otherwise.

We said our goodbyes and I felt Kaylee hugging me and kissing my cheeks soundly before she moved on to her sister to do the same.

"You two behave." She said, obviously tipsy. Ann patted her on the cheek. "Yeah, yeah. Now go to sleep."

"Bye, I love you." Kaylee finally left after the others had been waiting for her outside the door impatiently.

Ann closed the door behind them and heaved a sigh of relief. "Finally."

I giggled. "I like your sister."

She arched an eyebrow. "Yeah? She's not gay."

I laughed again. "Not in that way! She's funny."

"If by funny you mean stupid, then yeah, she is."

She took me by the arm and started leading me towards her bedroom. "It's time for you to sleep, you've had too much alcohol for someone your age."

"Yeah?" I asked and saw her stumbling on thin air. "It seems like you did too."

We made it inside the bedroom and sat on the bed. "Whoa, I think I'm drunk." I said, seeing the room spin in front of me.

"No shit."

"Let me look at you." I said and turned towards Ann, holding her shoulders and steading her. I tried concentrating on her face to make my head stop spinning.

"Have I ever told you you're pretty?" I heard myself ask.

Ann laughed. "No?"

"Yeah, very much so. And you have shiny hair and white teeth."

She snorted. "You have a very sexy image of me."

"Yeah, a very very sexy one." I fell back on the bed and stared at the ceiling.

"Please tell me more." She said, still laughing.

"You smell nice."

"Uh uhm."

She appeared in my line of sight, leaning over me. "Are you okay?" She asked.

I just stared without saying anything.

"Cam?"

"I want to kiss you." What? Why was my mouth going on autopilot?

I saw her blush. "You're drunk."

I laughed. "In vino veritas."

"Translation?"

I pulled her down, feeling her weight on top of me before she moved to lay next to me. I turned my head towards her.

"It's latin, it means..." I trailed off, unsure of what I was about to say. "It means that what you say when drunk is the truth."

"Uhm, is that so?"

"That's what they say."

She smiled. "So, should I let you spill all your secrets?"

"Hey, no. You won't talk to me after that."

Laughing she started caressing my arm. "What, are you a serial killer?"

I shook my head. "No, I hug trees."

She laughed again. "Oh, that's bad. What else do you do?"

I thought about it. "Oh! Uhm, I sometimes watch porn."

"Really? What kind?"

I felt her arm move higher up my arm until it was behind my head massaging the top of my neck slowly.

"All sorts, it depends on my mood, you know?"

She smirked. "Does it?"

"Yeah. Do you watch porn?"

"Sometimes." She smiled coyly.

"Lesbian porn sucks, right? It's so fake."

"I wouldn't know, remember?"

"Yeah, but I mean, you can imagine what it's like. Have you ever watched lesbian porn?"

"Maybe, what's so wrong about it?" She kept massaging the back of my neck and it felt surprisingly relaxing.

"They have long nails." I made a disgusted face and then took her hand that was nestled between our bodies and inspected it. "See, yours are fine. But in lesbian porn it's just..." I shuddered.

She laughed but didn't say anything while I kept staring at her face.

"That feels nice, by the way." I said, referring to the massage.

"Does it? It will make you sleep in no time."

I moaned softly. "You're good at it."

"I know."

I suddenly remembered about the game earlier and the fact that she lied by omission about not having kissed a girl. Maybe it was my drunk state that gave me the courage to ask her about it or maybe I was just stupid but I did it.

"Uh," I said, "why did you lie earlier?"

She furrowed her brows. "Lie?"

"About kissing a girl." I clarified.

"Oh." She seemed to think about what to say and the massage she was giving me slowed down. "I simply didn't want to spark Kaylee's curiosity."

"Oh." I said and looked down. I don't even know what I was expecting her to say. It's not like it was a real kiss anyway.

"And thank you for not saying who you last kissed." She added.

I smiled then. "But that wasn't you."

I saw her blush embarrassed. "Right, I forgot you have a girlfriend now."

I laughed. "She's not my girlfriend. And I was teasing you, you were my last kiss."

She rolled her eyes. "That must be exciting, huh?"

"It is, you're beautiful."

She blushed again. "Remind me not to talk to you when you're drunk."

"Uh uhm, I will."

And like that I felt my eyes close slowly and fell asleep in Ann's embrace.
