Chapter 23

My Nerd is a Lil' Bunny

Sorry for the late update.

Damian's POV

The bright rays of the sun shined through my window blinds waking me up. I turned around to find Jamie clinging to me. If you listen to him carefully you can hear him snore, very lightly. He looked so peaceful I didn't have the heart to wake him up, but it was almost eleven.

"Time to wake up, Lil' Bunny."

"Mmm... five more minutes..." He mumbled, turning away. Ugh, so cute. I moved in to kiss him,

"Fluffy... pancakes..." He mumbled, making me chuckle. I kissed his cheeks and went downstairs to make him some pancakes.

Anime: Your Name

I took it upstairs to make it a bit romantic. Nothing says romance like breakfast in bed. I entered my room to find him sitting up straight but asleep.

"Morning, Lil' Bunny,"

"Mmm..."

"Are you awake?"

"Mmm..." He pulled his arms forward as if asking to carry him. I moved in closer and he wrapped his arms around my neck, pulling me in for a kiss.

"Morning," He said with a smile.

"I could get used to this," I said kissing him again, "Here, as promised, ultra fluffy pancakes," I said handing him the tray of food, brightening his face.

"Thank you," He said taking a huge bite. "Gosh, this is so good." He said with his mouth full, syrup dripping from the side of his mouth.

"I'm glad," I said licking it off, making him blush. I leaned in to kiss him, but the door of my room burst open, revealing a very enthusiastic Jacob with heaps of shopping bags.

"It is party time bro!" He yelled, shamelessly coming in and placing the bags down. "Oh, morning Jamie,"

"Morning," Jamie replied nonchalantly.

"Morn- why do you look like you're going to murder me?" He asked me if he didn't know. I didn't reply, just glared at him. "Did I interrupt something?" He asked again with a smirk.

"So, why did you come here?" I asked letting go of my anger.

"Didn't you hear? There a party in town!" He said throwing confetti from his pocket.

"Yeah I heard, and I'm not going," I said sipping my coffee as Jamie fed me some of his pancakes.

"What! Why?"

"Mums coming back."

"Waif, yuf mumf iz comfinf baff?" Jamie asked with his mouth full. (Don't ask me how I understood.) Smiling, I wiped the whipped cream from his lip.

"Yes, she is. She is coming next week."

"C-can I meet her?" He asked hesitantly.

"She is coming to meet you."

"I can't wait." He smiled so brightly I thought I would go blind. I ruffled his hair and kissed his forehead. I would have done more if that idiot wasn't here.

"May I interrupt this sickeningly sweet moment to inform you that the party is tonight. So we gotta get ready." He said, clapping his hands.

"I thought it was next week."

"Huh? Who told you that?"

"Andrew."

"Weird, I heard the party was tonight. Maybe they moved it?" I couldn't care less, I'm gonna spend time with Jamie.

"I don't care, I'm not going."

"Jamie you'll come, right?" He pleaded.

"I don't like parties."

"Ugh, come on. It's going to be our last party as seniors. It will be your first Jamie," He tried sounding convincing, but Jamie is stubborn.

"I don't know... what do you think Damian?" Why is he asking me... Ah... he wants to go. How do I know? His eyes. Those puppy-dog eyes.

"I thought you just said that you don't like parties," I tried fighting back his overly cute face.

"Translation, I want to go but Joseph being an overprotective brother won't let me go. If I say I'm going with you he might allow..." He said looking at me again with those eyes.

"First off, your brother already doesn't trust me. Second, what makes you think that he will let you go to a place with horny drunk teenagers?" I questioned.

"Not if you ask the right person." He smiled and picked up his phone. "Hey mom," should have known, "There's a party tonight, can I go?... Of course, Damian is coming too... uh-huh... uh-huh... yes I'll be back by eleven. Okay thanks, love you." He looked at me with a huge grin... will I ever win against him?

"Fine." I gave in.

"Yay!" They both cheered.

"Okay, time to get you dressed!+ I brought some cute ass clothes for little Jamie. Hurry up and put them on." Jacob said shoving the bags towards Jamie, who in turn happily went to the bathroom to change. He came out wearing a pink black hoodie with short shorts and fishnets.

"Perfect!" Jacob yelled.

"No," I replied instantly. Like hell I'm gonna let him go dressed like that. Those horndogs (not including me) will eat him alive.

"Hmm... True, I'm not feeling it either." He said twirling back in. So cute... The second time he came out wearing a grey turtle-neck backless sweater dress with black ripped jeans with his face visibly flustered.

"Sexy... Wait no! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU MAKING MY LITTLE BUNNY WEAR!?" I grabbed Jacobs color. This bitch is dead meat.

"Calm down, that is mine. It must have mixed in with his stuff," I let him go, feeling creeped out. "It's not mine mine, it's for my girlfriend!" He explained. Oh that explains it. Argh, goosebumps.

"I'll change right away." Jamie said, sounding a bit disappointed. Well he did look unbelievably delicious. He finally came out wearing an oversized black and white shirt that came to his knees. He had a satisfied look on his face, and why wouldn't he be, he looked so cute.

"Now that's what I call a boyfriend shirt." Jacob said, handing me the same shirt. "Now no one will approach Jamie since you two match," This sly bastard...

"Well, thanks. What time is the party?"

"It's at seven, but we'll go there by eight. I don't want to go early and be the set up group." Typical Jacob.

"Looks like Jane and Dennis are also going to this party." Jamie said looking at his phone with a sad smile.

"What's wrong?" I asked, bringing him to my side.

"I was just thinking, this will be my last year with them," He said, resting his head on my chest.

"Is that why you want to go to this party?" I asked and he nodded in reply. "I know it will be hard to leave your friends behind, believe me I know, but I also know you have some great friends and they will never leave you. Besides your going to a college that is close to home and a year later they will also join you, so don't be sad," I comforted him.

"Mmm... Thanks." He smiled again.

"Ok, let's enjoy our last year as high school students!"
