Chapter 22

Sorry, it took so long but I'm back! Update announcements at the end of the chapter.

Jamie's POV

"Does this feel good?" Damian asked as he massaged my shoulders. I nodded in response. After the very embarrassing event in his bedroom, Damian carried me 'bridal style' to his bathroom. We are both in soaking in his bathtub, which was relaxing.  Apparently I wasn't the only one feeling relaxed, my stomach decided to let out a loud growl, making me dip my head in with embarrassment.

*chuckle* "Hungry?" He asked rubbing my belly.

"Yes,"

"What do you want to eat?"

"Will you be cooking?"

"If you want me to."

"Then I'll have the chef's special." He smiled.

"Any special requests?"

"Pancakes!" I jumped in excitement, making him laugh.

"I'm sorry Bunny, but we can't have pancakes for dinner."

"What! Why?" My excitement immediately died down.

"Cause that is not proper dinner and it won't fill you up," He said tapping my nose. Ugh, I've always wanted to eat pancakes for dinner. "How about this, tonight we will have a proper dinner, and tomorrow I will make you pancakes for breakfast. How about that?"

"Promise?"

"Yes. promise. And I'll make them ultra fluffy," He said kissing me. We both got out but Damian went down first to get the food ready. I rummaged through my bag to wear something comfortable, but all I found was four oversized shirts and only one pair of pants. I'm sorry what? Four pairs of oversized shirts that I have never seen before with their tags still on and only one pair of pants. And not even the pants that you wear to sleep, uncomfortable jeans that I only wear when I'm out. Touché mom, touché.

Damian's POV

Adding some last touches, and done. One satisfying dinner, done.

"Jamie, dinner's ready!"

"Coming!" I could hear him running. When he entered the kitchen, I froze. It was a familiar sight of him in an oversized shirt covering his boxer and exposing his legs. "What?" He asked blushing, very well knowing what I was thinking. I took him in my arms and carried him to his seat.

"It should be illegal for you to be this cute," To which he giggled. I kissed his forehead and set his food on the table.

"HAMBURGER STAKE, MY FAVORITE!" He let out a loud squeak in excitement.

"I'm not sure if it will be to your liking."

"Nonsense." He said taking a bite and his face lit up like the sun. "Urmahgad this is so good, I'm having a foodgasm! Damian, you're the best." He said gobbling the whole thing up.

"I'm glad you liked it," I wiped the crumbs from his cheek and licked it making him blush and giggle uncontrollably.

After dinner, Jamie helped me with the dishes and we sat down for a movie. Jamie wanted to watch a horror movie, again. Unfortunately, he kept pleading and I couldn't resist, he is just so cute. On the plus side, I was the one who decided which movie to watch. I decided on SCREAM, the less scary one. Which he didn't find amusing.

"Hey is your mom not back yet?" He asked out of the blue.

"No, not yet,"

"She works with doctors without borders right?"

"Yeah,"

"Isn't it lonely?"

"I guess it is, but she is happy helping people and I don't want to impose on that. She always wanted to travel around the world to help people. But marriage got in the way, and then two handful kids."

"What changed her mind?" he asked with curiosity.

"Payton and I did. After my dad died, mom had to work double the time she normally did to feed us. Payton took care of the chores and I started cooking. This helped mom a lot, so when she got a letter for MSF, we encouraged her to go. She was hesitant at first, but Payton soon got a well-paying job and I also started working. After looking at how independent we were she gladly accepted the offer. But it looks like she's had enough. Next year she is retiring from MSF and working at the local hospital."

"She is a lucky mom," Jamie said, kissing me. "So, does she..."

"Know about you? Yeah, I told her."

"What did she say?" He sounded concerned. I combed my hand in his hair, kissing him.

"She was surprised but knowing I have someone who truly loves me, she was happy. Plus she told me she never liked Cindy." He laughed. He put his head on my shoulder and in a hushed mumbled he said,

"I love you, Damian." I looked down to kiss his soft lips, but he had fallen asleep. I kissed him never the less,

"I love you too, Lil' Bunny." I carried him to my room. But before I could climb him with him, my phone buzzed. It was from Max. That dude never sleeps.

DUDE, JAROME (football friend) IS HAVING A BIG PARTY AT HIS PLACE NEXT WEEK!!! YOU GONNA GO???

No.

Wht! Y?

Mom's coming back.

What! No way!

Yup. And I'm going to introduce Jamie to her.

Damn, well family is important. Goodnight.

Damian and his mother's phone conversation.

"Hey baby, how have you been?"

"I'm good mum, how about you?"

"Ugh, I miss you guys so much. Next time I wanna do something like this again, lock me in the closet please."

"Haha, but you save lives."

"I know. So give me the deets, someone new in your life?"

"There is..."

*Squeak* "I can't wait. I hope she's better than that girl, Sidney."

"Cindy mum,"

"I don't care,"

"Haha... He is better."

"He?"

"Yes, mum. The person I'm dating is a guy...'

"Oh... is he cute?"

"Huh?"

"I asked if he was cute..."

*Snicker*  "Irresistibly. Wanna see?"

"Oh My God, yes," *Sent picture from carnival* "Oh My God, is he an Angel?"

"Haha, he sure is,"

"Wait, is he legal?"

"Mum you know him. He is Joseph's brother, Jamie."

*Gasp* "Little Jamie. Oh my, that little boy was always so cute and shy. Look how big he has gotten, and cuter."

"So your okay?"

"Well, I'm surprised. But knowing that you have someone to love you, I'm happy. Plus he is a huge improvement from Sidney,"

"Cindy mum."

"I don't care... Hey,"

"Yeah,"

"I love you so very much, nothing is going to change that fact."

"I love you too."

Off, finally back. Sorry for taking so long. I hope you enjoyed this chapter.

Since school has started, I have decided to update twice a month. I know it's not enough but if I get some time, I will try to upload three times. I also don't have a specific date for the updates. It may be tomorrow or next week, I don't know, but I will be uploading two chapters. This chapter counts for this month and I will post the other one soon enough.
