The trio’s assistance managed to take off some pressure for the instructors. They were happy but they did not see Jiang Chen, when they looked back, they saw Jiang Chen stepping upon the corpses of hundreds of beasts while he finished the final beast before him.

That Hierarch beast was extremely angered.

“All of you shall die.”

The snow beasts leapt upon its enemies, and the instructors managed to hold their ground with the help of the trio. That Hierarch beast did its best to deal a decisive blow but could not do so as Jiang Chen had annihilated the remaining beasts on its side.

“This… this… this is impossible!” The leading snow beast exclaimed after seeing so many of its kin getting killed by Jiang Chen.

“Retreat!” The leading beast shouted as he sounded the horn of retreat.

The instructors let out a sigh of relief and then they looked at Jiang Chen with shock. Sheng Kun could only sigh in awe from Jiang Chen’s feat.

“Number one of the outer-palace, truly worthy of his title. I now understand why he has the strength to overpower Yue Changzhi.” Sheng Bing murmured with a heavy expression.

“Although he’s just a Peak Divine King, I probably could not defeat him in a life and death battle.” Sheng Kun muttered quietly.

Li Chuang could’ve died if it wasn’t for Jiang Chen. Jiang Chen was the biggest contributor in pushing those beasts back.

The instructors were relieved that the danger had finally passed.

“Let’s get out of this place quickly.” Chi Haifei said.

Although they managed to push them back, there’s no guarantee that they would not come back again. The retaliation could be greater than before.

“Alright, however, will the Third Elder come for us? Since we broke the jade plaque.” Sheng Bing worriedly said.

“We’ll have to look for shelter to avoid those beasts. Otherwise, we won’t be able to last until any reinforcement comes for us.” Yang Xikuan shook his head.

“There’s no need to go any further.” Jiang Chen said.

“Why?” Sheng Kun asked.

“If I’m right… the entrance is right over here.” Jiang Chen pointed towards the mountain just before them.

“Three mountains as the mark. It’s about the door of life, there are nine dragons absorbing the water over here, it’s the door of death. We can enter the place through this path.” Jiang Chen said.

“Door of death? Would it be a deathly trap left behind by the Great Emperor? ” Li Chuang said worriedly.

“The door of death does not mean that, it means that those who exit through this path will face certain death. However, if you enter through this path, it’s the same as entering through the door of life. That’s my hypothesis, there should be more than one entrance for this tomb.
