Abhimanyu sat at his expansive mahogany desk, an island of calm amidst the chaos of his high-powered CEO life. He drummed his fingers on the polished surface, his foul mood deepening with each passing moment.

The soft hum of the air conditioner did little to alleviate the tension in the air; it just buzzed annoyingly like a fly that refused to leave.

The door swung open, and in strode Rudra, the unwelcome herald of distraction. Abhimanyu didn’t bother to look up, his pen scratching over the documents in front of him as if he could will his annoyance away. "Hey, man!" Rudra's voice pierced his concentration.

(His cabin)

A groan escaped Abhimanyu’s lips, muffled by the stack of papers. "Why are you always working, man? Meri baat sun mere pass ek mast baat hai ."

Abhimanyu continued scribbling, ignoring the invitation for drama. He felt Rudra’s gaze boring into him, waiting for acknowledgment. "You’re the CEO of a massive company, not a monk in a cave! Live a little brother"

With a heavy sigh, Abhimanyu finally looked up, his dark eyes narrowing slightly. "Not now, Rudra."

"Ab bhai ki baat bhi nahi sunega tu"  Rudra sulked, sinking deeper into the chair across from him.

The chair creaked in protest as he leaned back, clearly undeterred. "Pata mai aaj ek mast ladki se mila yrr, kya bandi thi " His eyes sparkled with excitement, as if he were recounting a tale of great heroism.

Abhimanyu didn't replied anything, too busy to pay him any attention. He turned back to his work, the words fading into background noise.

"Isn’t it a big deal? Why aren’t you showing any excitement?"Rudra’s voice whined, trying to pull Abhimanyu out of his detached state.

Abhimanyu remained unyielding, flipping a page with deliberate slowness. Rudra continued, undaunted. "I swear, she had this fire in her eyes. We were talking, and I—"

Rudra kept telling him about a girl but Abhimanyu didn't pay any attention to him until he took a name ––Aarushi, he asked "You love Aarushi alot, so tell me what does love mean to you"

That caught Abhimanyu’s attention. His head snapped up, a flicker of interest sparking in his otherwise stoic demeanor.

At that moment, the world around Abhimanyu seemed to fade, leaving only the thought of Aarushi. His tense posture relaxed, and he released a soft sigh. "Aarushi… she is love. I don't know much about love, but whenever I hear anything about love, I can only think about her. She is the one who comes into my mind."

Rudra raised an eyebrow, clearly impressed" You’re whipped for your wife" he said in a teasing tone.

Abhimanyu shot him a glare, but it lacked any real heat. Instead, he turned his attention back to his work, the air filled with the sound of paper rustling and the quiet clicking of his pen. Rudra kept talking about random things related to business and teasing him a little in between.

Half an hour later, Rudra’s phone buzzed, and he stood, brushing off the gravity of his earlier talk. "I gotta go. Important issue at the office."

Abhimanyu didn’t respond, too lost in thought. Once Rudra left, the silence of the cabin enveloped him. His mind wandered back to Aarushi, wondering what she must be doing now.

As the minutes ticked by, the clock on the wall struck 9:30 PM. A sense of urgency washed over him.  What if she was waiting for him like she had the night before? A pang of guilt tightened in his chest. She shouldn’t have to wait for him—he needed to be there for her.

Deciding to leave, he stood abruptly, the chair scraping against the floor with a loud screech. He made his way out from his cabin as Aakash who had been quietly organizing papers, looked up, worry etched on his face. "Sir, is everything alright?" He asked coming towards him.

"I’m leaving for home," Abhimanyu said, his tone brooking no argument.Aakash looked shocked, thinking why he was leaving early today.

"You can take your leave as well."Abhimanyu said and walked into the lift.A relief flooded Aakash's features as he quickly went inside his cabin and started gathering his things. He thanked God in his mind as finally he was leaving early today after a long time.

As Abhimanyu stepped out of the building, a cool breeze hit him. The ten-minute drive home felt like an eternity, his mind racing with thoughts of Aarushi. He parked hastily and headed inside, his heart thumping with anticipation.

The moment he entered the mansion, the sounds of laughter erupted from the living room. He spotted Aarushi sitting with a younger member, her laughter ringing like music. They were sharing ice cream, the room filled with a lighthearted energy that contrasted sharply with his earlier mood.

"Today’s daal bhati was amazing"Aaryan exclaimed, licking their cone with delight. Abhimanyu’s gaze zeroed in on Aarushi.

She looked radiant, a gentle smile playing on her lips. Relief washed over him as he thought that she already had her dinner , but a selfish part of him wished they could have had dinner alone.

(Aarushi comfy clothes)

Just as he stepped forward, Aaryan,

glanced up and noticed his presence and beamed. "Arey bhai , aaj aap jaldi kaise " he asked in a curious tone.

All eyes turned to him, but his focus remained solely on Aarushi. She met his gaze, and her smile widened. "Good,You came early today! Let’s have dinner . Everyone just had dinner; I’ll arrange it—go freshen up!"she said standing up from her seat .

His heart fluttered at her words, realizing she hadn’t had dinner yet. Nodding, he moved upstairs to wash up. The curiosity of the others followed him, but he paid them no mind, eager for the quiet intimacy he shared with Aarushi.

After a few minutes, he returned, feeling more relieved. They sat down at the table, the atmosphere shifting to one of warmth as he pulled out her chair, serving her dinner first. “If you could have come half an hour ago, we could have had dinner with the family,” she chided lightly.

Abhimanyu met her gaze and said softly in a concerned tone, “You shouldn’t have waited for me, love. Its not good to stay hungry , You could have dined with them"

Aarushi shook her head, her eyes bright. "No, I wanted to have a family dinner with you. You’re part of the family, and it wouldn’t be the same without you."

His heart swelled at her words. He felt lucky to have her in his life. She is like a bright ray of sun in his dull life just like her name .To him, loving her had been the second-best thing in his life; finding her had been the first.

"If you want, I’ll come home early from tomorrow."Abhimanyu said smiling a little.Aaruhsi's face lit up, a smile breaking across her features. "Really? That would be great!" She exclaimed with happiness.

She was feeling happy, thinking at least from now on, he will have dinner with family. After some time, Abhimanyu asked in a curious tone, "How was your day?"

Aarushi’s face brightened even more.As she had a habit of yapping about her day after returning from home . She used to talk about her day to Sid and her mother before her marriage. "Waise to thik tha per pata hai aaj kya hua " she replied in a excited tone.

He shook his head, leaning in as if she were about to share a secret "Mujhe nahi pata per aap bata do " and it was just a cue for her as she started her rants about her whole day .

She dove into her tales, recounting the day’s events with glee. Abhimanyu listened intently, every word drawing him deeper into her world. He didn’t care about the outside, the pressures or his own demons, or what lay ahead. At this moment, it was just her voice and the way she animatedly shared her day.

He is not interested in anyone's life but he is interested in everything related to her.

"... And then, I teased Vivaan with that video with Navya " She burst into laughter, and Abhimanyu couldn’t help but chuckle along, the sound genuine and free.

"My smart girl" he replied, smiling a little . "You have to teach him a lesson." He said caressing her hands a little. As the dinner progressed, Aarushi continued her rants, her laughter filling the room, and Abhimanyu found himself completely entranced.

The weight of the world faded, replaced by the warmth of her presence and the comfort of shared stories. For Abhimanyu in her laughter , he found his peace, and in her happiness, he discovered the meaning of home.

My peaceful slumber was disturbed as I woke up groggily, the familiar ache in my legs and back reminding me of the unwelcome visitor that had arrived.

I frowned and sat up, my eyes scanning the bed. The pillows were strategically placed around the edges, a sure sign that Abhimanyu had placed them .I noticed every morning how he always placed pillows around me to keep me from rolling off, as I had a habit of always tossing and turning in sleep.

"Hey, love. What happened? Are you okay?" His voice was laced with concern, pulling me from my thoughts. I glanced up at him, noticing how wide awake he looked, the glow of his laptop illuminating in the room.I glanced at her at the clock and noticed it was already 2:30 AM.

"Why are you awake till now?" I asked, my voice still thick with sleep.

"I wasn’t feeling sleepy," he replied, his brow furrowing. "You were groaning in your sleep. Are you okay?" He said and switched on the lights.

I released a tired sigh. “I want to use the washroom.” I swung my legs over the edge of the bed and stood up, the dull ache in my back intensifying with the movement.

After what felt like an eternity in the washroom, I realized I’d gotten my period. "Why?"I whispered to myself, sulking at the familiar pangs of pain that surged through my lower back and legs.

I stood there was two minutes and cursed my lower back pain. I always feel severe leg and lower back pain on the first two days of my period. After a minute I called out for him, the frustration evident in my voice. " Umm..hukum Can you pass me my blue bag?"

"Are you okay?" he asked again, his worry palpable."Yes, just pass the bag quickly please ," I muttered, already feeling the annoyance of my situation.

He was quick to fetch it, and when I came back out, I found him pacing back and forth in the room, concern etched across his face.

"Jaan what's happened , you are looking distressed"he asked, his eyes scanning my face.

"It’s just my period,"I said hesitantly ,sitting down on the bed, trying to downplay the discomfort.

He knelt in front of me, his gaze filled with worry. "Are you feeling pain?"

I nodded weakly, biting my lip. "Yeah, my back and legs hurt."His expression deepened with concern, and I felt a rush of affection for this man. Just then, my stomach grumbled, and I tried to stand up.

"I’ll make something for you. What do you want to eat?"he said quickly, stopping me in my tracks.I shook my head at him and said "No need and i  don’t want to eat burnt food"I teased, trying to lighten the mood.

He chuckled, a sound that made my heart flutter. "Just tell me what you want. Don’t underestimate your husband’s cooking skills."

"Do you really know how to cook?" I raised an eyebrow, skeptical.

He nodded, a small smile spreading across his face. "Yes, I do"

I shook my head again and said "I’ll make it for myself. It’s okay."

"No,' he insisted, standing firm. "You need to rest. I don’t want you to feel more pain."

I paused, weighing my options. The thought of spicy Maggi was tempting, and it was easier to let him take care of me.Ab koi itna bol hi Raha hai to kya hi ker sakte hai.....

"Okay, just a spicy Maggi then,"I finally relented. "Anything else"he asked, his eyes bright with determination.

"Nope, just that." I said smiling a little and laid down.

He gently tucked me back into the duvet, his touch lingering longer than necessary. "Stay here and rest. I’ll make you Maggi"

As he left the room, I felt a warmth spread through me. His gentle behavior touched my heart. He really cared for me.....I closed my eyes, slowly massaging my lower back with my fingers, trying to ease the discomfort.

A few minutes later, Abhimanyu returned, balancing a plate with steaming Maggi and bars of chocolates. My eyes lit up at the sight of the food.

"Here you go,baby" he said, placing the plate in front of me and sinking down beside me on the bed.

I took a spoonful of the Maggi, the flavors bursting on my tongue. "This is amazing!" I exclaimed, my heart swelling with happiness. It is really tasty"You really outdid yourself, bad man"

He beamed at my praise, a sense of pride shining in his eyes. I couldn’t help but smile back. "Want some?"I offered, holding out a piece to him.

He took it, and we ate in comfortable silence, the air filled with warmth and affection. After finishing, he reached for a tissue, gently cleaning my face. I felt butterflies in my stomach as he tucked my chin, his touch delicate and caring. He is really something.

Once he disposed of the tissue, he handed me a glass of water. I gulped it down, feeling grateful for his attention. As I lay back down, he adjusted my pillow, his fingers brushing against my hair in a sweet gesture, trying to erase my discomfort.

"Just a moment, I’ll take these down," he said, collecting the dirty dishes. I watched him leave, feeling a flutter in my chest.

As I lay there, I let my mind wander to how good he is with me. He cared for me so deeply, and it made me feel cherished. Slowly, the exhaustion crept over me, and I drifted into sleep.

I awoke later to the sound of rustling. Abhimanyu entered the room again, this time holding a bottle of massage oil. My heart skipped a beat as he sat down on the edge of the bed.

"Love, you’ve been tossing around," he said softly, shaking me gently. "Lay on your stomach, it will help you ."

"Why , you don't need to do this " I said eyeing the bottle in his hand. This generous thought of him makes me feel thousands of emotions, or it is my period. I don't know.

"It’s a massage oil I found. I thought it might help with your pain" he explained. "Lay down, please. I want to help you."

My heart raced at his words. I hesitated for a moment, but something was soothing about his voice and the warmth in his gaze. "Okay," I finally agreed, turning onto my stomach.

I laid down as he removed my top a little from my lower back. My heart started beating rapidly...., I tightly clutched my pillu to my chest.

He squeezed some oil into his hands, rubbing them together to warm them up. As soon as his hands made contact with my skin, a jolt of electricity coursed through me. I felt a flip in my stomach as his fingers began to work their magic, applying gentle pressure along my back.

After few minutes I released a soft sigh, the pain slowly melting away with each stroke. "That feels so good," I murmured, closing my eyes and surrendering to the sensation.

He glanced at my face, a satisfied smile crossing his lips as he continued. The way he focused on me, his touch tender yet firm, made me feel safe and cherished.

Minutes passed, and I felt my body relax under his care. The tension in my muscles dissipated, and I lost track of time, lost in the comfort of his presence.

After what felt like an eternity of bliss, I finally drifted off to sleep, the last thing I remember being Abhimanyu’s hands massaging my legs, making sure I was completely at ease.

As Aarushi drifted into deep slumber, Abhimanyu continued massaging her legs and feet ,trying his best to provide her comfort.
