Isabella was surprised by Seth’s severe allergic reaction. Just a whiff of the scent was

enough to make him uncomfortable. Feeling unsure, Isabella turned to Simon for help

since Seth showed no intention of leaving.

Simon was hesitant to get involved in a dispute between women, but he couldn’t just

stand by and watch Seth’s condition worsen. He got up to switch on the ventilation fan

and had the empty plates removed, finally dispersing the lingering mango scent in the

air.

Isabella kept a close eye on Seth’s expression, fearing that he might faint at any

moment. Fortunately, Keira received a call informing her that the client had arrived.

Isabella breathed a sigh of relief, greeted everyone, and left with Mandy and the others.

As she passed Seth, she subconsciously observed his expression. His face was pale,

his lips slightly discolored, and his brows furrowed. His countenance appeared fierce,

disappeared from her sight.

When she pushed the door to leave, the temperature difference between the inside and

outside was quite significant, causing her to shiver due to the central air conditioning.

The person Keira had arranged to meet was downstairs. Isabella felt annoyed, but she

had to compose herself for now.

over,” Keira whispered before they entered.

Isabella hesitated for a moment, knowing that those who resigned after the bidding

were likely involved in some shady dealings. Upon opening the door to the private

room, they found a modestly dressed bald man in his thirties sitting inside. He didn’t

give off any sleazy vibes.

the escalator to the rooftop. Mandy and Keira shouted at her from below, but she paid

no attention to them.
