Chapter 853 – Twelve-Year-Old Boys Are Not Easy to Serve

Since Jesse had become this way, Nydia’s dealings with him had to be in the same mode as with a teenager; he recognized only Nydia and no one else, and had to follow wherever he went, unless it was to go to the bathroom or take a shower.

Nydia couldn’t help but feel a little funny about the whole shower thing.

“I’m going to take a shower, do you want to come with me?” She asked him, after all, worried that he would be anxious if he couldn’t find her.

Nydia thought about twelve year old Jesse being so innocent?

She got out of the shower and Jesse went to wash.

When both were done washing they lay on the bed.

“Eh, didn’t you say men and women are different? Why are you still sleeping in the same bed with me?” She thought teasing him.

“We slept with our clothes on, does it matter?” Jesse asked back.

“Don’t worry, I’m not going to make a move, I’m sleeping with you mainly to protect you, what if the witch comes back to hurt you again?”

Well, words were getting to you, and she found herself at a loss for what to say in retort.

In fact, she found it a little strange.

It stood to reason that Jesse, who had been trained from a young age, even at twelve, wasn’t a child’s mind anymore, just look at Tavish, but now Jesse, who said he was twelve, was acting like a normal twelve year old, with a simpler mind.

It seemed she would have to hypnotize Sara to see if she could find anything of value.

While Jesse was asleep, she quietly got up and went to where Sara was being held, and called up Frederick and told Vergil to keep watch over Jesse, after all, Jesse would probably go crazy if he woke up and couldn’t find anyone.

Sara was now demoralized, never able to accept the fact that Alex was no longer there, she had thought that Nydia had lied to her, but the delay in waiting for Alex to come and pick her up had thrown her into despair a little bit.

Jesse saw her come back which made him stop and immediately rushed over to her, “I’m glad you’re okay, I woke up and you were gone, I thought you were taken.”

“I’m fine, I just went to take care of something.”

“Taking care of things? Why would a kid take care of things?”

Nydia just felt her head fill up and didn’t know what to say.

“I went to use the restroom.” That was all she could explain.

“Why did you come back with him when you went to the bathroom?” Jesse pointed at Frederick, hostility showing in his eyes.

Frederick was startled and opened his mouth to speak but didn’t know what to say.

Mrs. Pascall you don’t want to hurt me, why are you talking about going to the bathroom?

Nydia: “…” Brain hurts!

After explaining and finally calming Jesse down, Nydia decided that she couldn’t go on like this, she had to take Jesse to Zinamosa to see Dr. Huffpove.

Once she lay down again, Jesse chanted in her ear, “You can’t trust anyone else, you have to trust me and only me!”

“Okay, okay, we’re going to sleep.”

Jesse hadn’t been getting any better and couldn’t put it off any longer or she thought she’d have to go crazy.

She did study Sara’s hypnosis video with her psychiatrist before she left though.

The gain was rewarding, at least they knew what Sara had done at the time when she hypnotized Jesse, knowing that would make it relatively easy to follow up and deal with the situation, or else they would just be clueless and unable to find a solution.

“Vergil, Molly and Tavish are all yours for now, Frederick is coming with me to Zinamosa.”

“Mrs. Pascall, one thing we have to determine first is whether it’s more dangerous for us to go to Zinamosa or for those who stay over here.” Frederick said.

“That can’t be predicted, after all we don’t know where Fernand is or what he wants, we can only be well prepared.”

“I mean now that Mr. Pascall is in this state, let me and Theo work together to protect him, or else …”

Nydia froze, “Theo?”

“Yes, he’s good at what he does, and the two of us work well together as a team.”

Nydia called Theo and gave him the general idea, Theo had no problem with it.

One of the next important things was to convince Jesse to go to Zinamosa.

After dinner, she took Jesse over to see Dr. Huffpove, thinking that she would get better sooner with treatment.

“Dr. Huffpove, we’re here.” She led a reluctant Jesse to Dr. Huffpove’s house.

“Sit down for a while, have some tea and chat.” Dr. Huffpove gives off a healing vibe, he likes to get to know a person from small talk so it doesn’t put a lot of pressure on the person.

Jesse doesn’t talk much and puts on a face, he thinks Nydia is sulking because she doesn’t listen and always has to see someone else.

“Good boy, how old are you now?” Dr. Huffpove asked.

As a result Jesse comes in with, “Guess.”
