Chapter 831 Sara’s Calculations
Reborn Before The Divorce
After the three people discussed it, they felt that this conclusion of drug escalation was more in line with the current situation.
It is the same as saying that Pippa is very valuable for research.
After the conversation Vincent leaves.
Nydia and Jesse realized something terrible.
Alex wouldnât be impossible to get dead in the future, that would be too scary.
This big boss was almost scarier than the big boss in the game!
âHave you had any leads on Sara lately?â
âShe disappeared with Alex, presumably knowing that sheâd be investigated by us if she stayed.â
âIt also proves that she and Alex are indeed related.â
Since the beginning, they didnât have absolute proof that Sara and Alex were related, it was just speculation, but now that Sara had disappeared, it was proof enough.
âMr. Pascall, should we check out Saraâs place? Might be able to find something useful.â Frederick suggested.
He felt that Sara might have left something behind if she left in a hurry, a person retreating unprepared would be negligent even for a psychiatrist.
âWe can check it out, but be careful there will be traps.â
The incident at the experimental base was a big reminder of sorts for them, and there had been a couple of minor traps since then, but luckily they hadnât been too big of a problem, and no one had been sacrificed after all, just injured.
But it was still scary to think about, in case they couldnât open that glass cover, the consequences would be unimaginable.
Frederick took people not only to Saraâs house but also to her studio, and it really wasnât nothing, finding some useful information.
âMr. Pascall, this information might be useful, and itâs rather old, it might be related to something from before.â
âHard work.â
Jesse made two copies of the information, one to Vincent and the others, and the other to Nydia to look at.
Nydia read some of it and thought it was still a bit useful, but there was a lot of terminology on it that she didnât really understand, and it had to be handed over to a professional.
âThis is Saraâs notepad? Iâm surprised she didnât take it with her?â
It doesnât matter if she canât read other things, but this notepad she can definitely read and understand, and itâs very useful, this notepad records a lot of things, itâs like writing a diary, itâs better than a diary because whatâs recorded are things that have happened objectively.
âLooking at the date it should have not been recorded for more than a year, I guess I put it in an uncommon place and forgot about it.â Jesse analyzed.
âWell, itâs possible, I need to hurry up and finish reading this notepad of hers.â
She didnât record every day, just the more important things, written more concisely, not so detailed, like a work report.
âLook, here, itâs about you.â Finally flipping through to find something about Jesse.
âThe hypnosis thing.â
Sara wrote down how she hypnotized Jesse.
[The boss asked me to hypnotize Jesse, to tamper with part of his memory, to implant in his mind what the boss wanted him to remember]
[Jesse is a very strong-willed person, despite the hypnosis, itâs still hard to do]
âJesse, she complimented you.â
âDo I have to thank her?â Jesse was speechless.
âNot that itâs necessary.â
There were quite a few things in the notepad that she couldnât read all at once, plus she was pretty much incapable of concentrating for long periods of time right now, so she had to have Jesse read it to her during the night.
They categorized all the things mentioned in the notepad and found a few clues.
âShe did give you pills.â
This is what Sara wrote in her notepad:
[Today, I mixed a recently developed drug into Jesseâs pill bottle to see how he would react when he took it.]
From the text, Sara didnât know what kind of effect it would have, and she had mixed it into the pill bottle.
âI donât think you took all the pills she mixed in, after all, you basically never finished those.â
âUh-huh.â
Jesse rarely took those nerve pills, only occasionally when he didnât feel too well or couldnât handle it, not under normal circumstances, so he probably just ingested a relatively small portion.
âBy that extrapolation, you and mom both had headaches, you had them recently, probably the small dose caused this to happen later, but Sara would have given mom a larger dose.â
âShe mixed it in with all that bonding stuff.â Jesse concluded.
The notepad didnât say what specific drug it was.
When they had taken the bonded products to be tested earlier they had just taken out a couple of each different drug to be tested, and they had been unlucky not to get the drugs that had been mixed in, which had been disposed of.
Jesse hurriedly contacted Vincent to ask if he had disposed of those previous medications.
Vincentâs side immediately went to check and found that the medicines were still there, which was just unfortunate.
Informed Vincent that there may be special drugs mixed in, Vincent immediately called for manpower to work overtime to test, is a very hard thing, but there is no way, mixed in the drugs look very similar, can only be slowly to distinguish.
â¦
Rosalind recently in the house is kind of not out of the door, try not to cause trouble to the son and daughter-in-law.
Before she believed that Sara was already very guilty.
But Andrew was a little worried seeing her like this that she might be bored out of her mind.
âLetâs go out for a walk.â
âNo go out, what if we go out and get caught?â
âNot so much, now that heâs in hiding he wonât show his face easily, if he does heâll get caught and heâs worried.â
Alex now belonged to the wanted criminals, he didnât dare to show his face at all.
âHe has so many people under his hand, who knows if there are any of his people around us, no, letâs just stay home honestly.â
âStaying home isnât safe either, think about the last time Jesse and the others didnât stay home and get threatened?â
Andrew felt that Rosalindâs look was a case of once bitten twice shy, this mindset could easily lead to depression, he had to be taken out and about to get out and about.
âLetâs not trust strangers next, just trust people weâve known for over ten years.â
In this way he took Rosalind out for a walk, and when he met his neighbors, he said hello, and gradually, Rosalind relaxed.
After a few consecutive days of this, Rosalind was no longer a scared bird.
She would go to the market with Andrew to buy groceries, and even discussed whether to buy a cat or a dog to keep.
However, when they came home they found the house on fire, the fire was so big that she subconsciously wanted to rush into the fire, and was stopped by Andrew, âDonât go, the fire is too big, if you go in you wonât be able to get out.â
âHow could there be a fire? Why is it on fire?â She couldnât figure it out, there was no reason for the fire.
The firemen came and there were a lot of onlookers.
It turned out that someone in the crowd was arguing, pushing and shoving, and Rosalind and Andrew had been standing together when they were pushed apart.
âMrs. Knight, come here for a moment, we need to talk to you about the cause of the fire and the financial security of your home.â Two men broke Rosalind out of the clashing crowd.
Immediately afterward, they asked her questions, and without thinking that much she followed them to a relatively quiet place to talk.
However!
Something changed, a man suddenly rushed out, covered her mouth and nose and pulled her into a car, then took off.
When Andrew reacted, he realized that the person was gone and couldnât be found.
He couldnât realize something was wrong and immediately called Jesse.
This was definitely not as simple as a fire, it must have been deliberately set up by someone.
