Chapter 810 – Jesse is admitted to hospital

“Daddy! Daddy!”

Nydia and the two children immediately rushed over.

She hurriedly squeezed Jesse’s wrist to stop the bleeding and had Jeff carry Jesse downstairs.

“Mrs. Pascall, I’ll have the driver prepare the car.”

“Uh-huh.” Nydia started by treating Jesse briefly and checking his vital signs.

At this point Jesse was unconscious and his lips were pale.

Next to her, Molly kept shedding tears but didn’t dare cry out as Tavish held her hand and kept reassuring her that it was okay.

Tavish held her hand and reassured her that she was fine. The family followed Jesse to the hospital.

On this side, Jesse just entered the hospital in the front foot, and Alex got the news in the back foot.

“What? No way! How could Jesse kill himself!” He couldn’t believe the news, “I know very well what kind of person he is, there’s absolutely no way he could have killed himself!”

“The man is in the hospital now, he did slit his wrists, and he seems to be in bad shape.”

“Impossible! Absolutely impossible! It must be a fake, you guys go and check it out for me again, it must be a fake.” Alex got emotional all of a sudden, and when he did his breathing became difficult.

“Master, calm down, let’s go check again.”

They were worried when Alex got agitated, it was hard to stabilize his body now, there can’t be any accidents, or else all the previous preparations would be for nothing.

“Check it out!”

Alex sits outside in the sun and starts to feel uneasy, trying to drink some hot tea, he realizes that his hands are shaking and the hot tea spills out scalding the back of his hands.

“Don’t worry, master, nothing will happen.” The person serving him immediately comforted him.

However, an hour later, the person who went out to investigate came back to report that the result was the same as before, and now someone had to be sent to talk to Alex about this matter.

“Go ahead, what big storms have I not seen before, before I was unprepared, now I am mentally prepared.” Alex’s voice was obviously much heavier, for insurance purposes, the caregiver next to him had already prepared an oxygen mask in advance, and rushed to put it on him as soon as he realized something was wrong.

“We’ve gone through a lot of checks and found out that Jesse did indeed slit his wrists.”

“And it’s in critical condition, although it’s been resuscitated, his vitals are weak.”

“Master?”

“Why did he suddenly slit his wrists?” Alex finally spoke, he couldn’t figure out how a good man could do such a thing. “I never had any doubts about his willpower, and his condition has stabilized a lot lately, there’s no way he could have been suddenly irritated so badly.”

The old Jesse’s emotions were spurred to violence at best, not to the point of hurting himself.

“According to the investigation, he may have guessed your intentions.”

“You had Nydia take your pulse at the time, and she could tell that your heart was healthy but your other organs were aging badly, and it wasn’t hard to deduce the results if you studied it in conjunction with Willette’s condition.”

If it was just one thing naturally it wouldn’t have occurred to him, but connecting the dots, how could Jesse not have thought of it, given how smart he was?

Alex sighed, “Blame me.”

“Master, I don’t blame you, it’s Jesse’s mental capacity.”

“You gather the men, meeting in two hours.”

“Okay.”

Alex fell into an emotion of regret, if he didn’t have a soft heart at that time and directly left Jesse behind, then by now he might have even completed the heart replacement surgery, now that Jesse’s body is so weak, it’s impossible to do this kind of large-scale surgery for heart replacement, his body can’t withstand it.

“In that case we’ll go find another vessel, there are quite a few young and strong men in THE Pascall family, picking the right one will be much easier than Jesse.”

Picking Jesse was actually going to be a big risk, but Alex had decided on Jesse before when he couldn’t see the boozehounds, which was why it had been delayed until now.

“And the other containers might be better to control and easier to dominate.”

This option was supported by most of the group.

“Any other options?”

A woman spoke up after a moment of silence, and she was none other than Sara.

“Master, I think it’s entirely possible to capture Jesse and inject him with a restorative to get his body back to its best in a short period of time, and then perform a heart replacement surgery, followed by conditioning afterwards.”

“No, that would be too risky.” Several doctors raised objections.

“Can you guys figure out a better vessel than Jesse? We spent so long hypnotizing him in the first place for today, are those losers worthy of the master’s heart?”

There was silence.

This was indeed a problem, but the scenario Sara said was indeed too risky, in case it was not good enough, Jesse would lose control, or Jesse would die right away, the probability of success might be less than thirty percent.

“Let’s all talk this over again, I’m tired.” Alex is in poor health these days and doesn’t have as much energy and needs to rest every now and then.

After the meeting was adjourned, Alex called Sara over.

“You go see Jesse.”

“Do you want me to test him?”

“Okay.”

Sara went to visit Jesse in the hospital the next day, after all, the fact that Jesse showed up at the hospital’s emergency department still leaked out, only it wasn’t quite clear what the specifics were, just that Jesse had arrived at the emergency department, and no doctor or nurse dared to leak the news, or else losing his job was a small matter and he’d have to face a lawsuit.

“Nydia, let me see Jesse.”

Nydia motioned for Sara to come in.

“What’s going on here? I heard you went into the emergency department for resuscitation.” Sara asked worriedly as she came to the bedside looking at a pale, lifeless Jesse.

Jesse didn’t say anything and even closed his eyes, clearly not willing to communicate.

“Why don’t we go outside and talk? He’s just been this reluctant to talk for the past two days, he doesn’t eat much, and he’s on nutritional fluids.”

“Okay, let’s go outside and talk.”

Nydia asked Vergil and another caregiver to keep an eye on Jesse.

Sara could tell from that detail that Jesse was now emotionally unstable and was probably worried that Jesse would do it again.

The two walked out of the hospital room to find a quiet place.

“Is he having an attack?”

“Uh-huh.”

“What’s with the sudden onset? And it looks to me like he’s in a state where he’s closed himself off, is he under some kind of stimulus?”

“I don’t know, all of a sudden all of a sudden became like this, originally we were talking about things properly, his mood is not right, and then he was worried about hurting me, so he stayed by himself, I thought it would be good for him to stay by himself, who knows … “Nydia said and then she choked up.
