Chapter 50
Reborn Before The Divorce
âYou!â
âMrs. Pascall, itâs not right for you to support your child hitting others. How can you think thatâs okay?â Ms. Garner disagreed.
âWho asked for your opinion?â Nydia swept a cold glare, her eyes like sharp knives that didnât draw blood but made people shiver.
Ms. Garner was instantly speechless and dared not say another word.
âNydia, since you think hitting people is okay, let me help my son get revenge by hitting your son!â
âItâs your son whoâs being a jerk. If your son dares to hit mine, I donât mind letting them fight it out themselves. If you canât handle it, we can just argue. How about that?â
Mrs. Quinn was furious again. She knew her son might not be able to beat Tavish, even though he was two years older. But how could she stand this humiliation?
âDanny, go and hit him for revenge. Do whatever it takes. If anything happens, Mom will take the blame!â She couldnât afford to lose disgrace.
Danny obviously didnât expect things to turn out like this. He had played and fought with Tavish before, but had resorted to verbal taunts because he couldnât beat him physically.
âYour son seems to be scared,â Nydia taunted.
âGo quickly! Youâre six years old and canât beat someone whoâs four years old?â This made it even more embarrassing.
ââ¦â It was a downright insult.
Ms. Stone felt that this couldnât go on and spoke up to defuse the situation.
âLadies, I think it would be better to resolve this peacefully. Itâs not right for children to hit or curse at each other. How about both sides apologize?â
These were families that couldnât be trifled with, and as teachers, they were in a difficult position.
âApologize just because my son was beaten up? My son was injured like this!â
âWhat do you want then? Your son doesnât seem to dare to fight back.â
ââ¦â Danny took a deep breath. âMom, I can do it!â
âGood job!â Mrs. Quinn suddenly became happy. âLetâs make a deal then, let the two kids fight, whoever admits defeat, weâll stop. How about it?â
âAre you sure?â Nydia kindly reminded her. She understood Tavishâs fighting ability very well.
âOf course, Iâm sure!â Mrs. Quinnâs heart was pounding, but she still said it with a stiff upper lip.
âOkay.â
Nydia squatted down and said to Tavish, âJust let go and fight. If anything happens, Mommy will take care of it. But if he admits defeat, you should stop.â
âI got it.â Tavishâs little face was tight, and no one knew what he was thinking.
The two children stood face to face. Danny was taller and slightly larger in size than Tavish.
Everyone looked at them with some concern. After all, it wouldnât be good if either child got hurt.
âMommy, can I swear when my brother fights?â Molly asked seriously.
âWhat?â Nydia was stunned. What was this?
âHe swore earlier, right? Now heâs fighting for revenge with brother, but we havenât taken revenge for the swearing. I have to swear back.â
Molly said with a serious face.
She and Tavish had been learning a lot of things since they were two years old. Now, at the age of four, they knew quite a lot, and their language skills were not inferior to those of adults.
âOkay, as long as youâre happy.â
Is this the power of twins? Amazing!
One fights, one swears?
