Chapter 49
Reborn Before The Divorce
âWhatâs wrong? Theyâre allowed to hit my son, but my son isnât allowed to hit back?â
âOkay, let the kids solve it themselves.â
âThatâs about right. I havenât even done anything yet, and Iâm already being polite.â
She turned around and said to her son, âGo hit him back. Hit him the way he hit you.â
The boy was already angry. He knew it was Molly who hit him, but he could also hit back on Tavish.
He looked angrily at Tavish, wanting to hit him, but then hesitated.
âWhatâs wrong?â
âMom, Iâm afraid heâll resist!â
âCome on!â She said to the teacher, âTell him not to resist. Let Danny hit him back, otherwise I wonât be polite anymore.â
The teacher said to Tavish, âYou heard that. It was wrong for you guys to hit people in the first place, and itâs reasonable for them to hit back now. Donât move, understand?â
Tavish responded coldly, âWhy not? He has a foul mouth, and Iâm not allowed to teach him a lesson?â
âYou brat!â The teacher was furious, and so was the boyâs mother.
âTeacher, you heard it too. Itâs not that I donât want to resolve this matter, but this child needs to be taught a lesson. If his parents wonât do it, then itâs up to me.â
She was about to grab Tavish, but he warned, âTry touching me and see what happens.â
âIâll try it. What else can you do?â
Tavish and Molly were obviously no match for two adults, and the other kids were worried about what to do. Fortunately, other teachers rushed over.
âWait until their parents come, Dannyâs mom.â
âGet out of the way. I have to teach this brat a lesson today.â She didnât want to get involved, but Tavishâs attitude had provoked her, and she wanted to deflate his arrogance.
The teacher stood in front of Molly and Tavish.
âAs an adult, if you get involved, the nature of the situation changes. It was originally just a playful fight between children, but if you touch them, things will escalate,â she tried to persuade.
âGet out of my way, do you believe that I can make you unable to stay in this school?â
As soon as the threatening words were spoken, a clear voice sounded, tinged with mockery, âWho is speaking with such arrogance? Who canât stay in the school?â
âMommy!â Molly ran over to Nydia and hugged her leg as soon as she saw her.
âIâm sorry Iâm late.â Nydia patted Mollyâs head before walking to Tavishâs side and pulling him behind her. Tavish was initially reluctant, but he didnât resist.
âThank you for calling me, Ms. Stone,â she thanked the teacher who had blocked the children earlier.
âItâs what I should do,â Ms. Stone breathed a sigh of relief. Thank goodness Nydia arrived in time, or she wouldnât have known what to do.
Nydia smiled warmly at her, but when she looked at another teacher, her face suddenly turned cold, and a frosty chill spread through the air.
âMs. Garner, why didnât you inform us parents immediately when things happened?â her voice had changed noticeably.
âI, Iâ¦â Ms. Garner couldnât think of a good excuse.
âNydia, donât change the subject. Itâs about your son hitting mine. I donât care about anything else. Letâs deal with this first!â
âI already know about the situation. Your son got hit because he was being rude. Is there a problem?â Nydia retorted.
This made Danny Quinnâs mother burst into anger instantly.
âYour son hit my son, and you still ask if thereâs a problem? Do you have any shame? Your whole family is a bunch of uncultured people!â
Nydia laughed directly, âThis is the first time Iâve heard that good manners are taught by being rude.â
