Zane’s sudden shout startled everyone in the room.

“Zane!” Pippa immediately rushed forward with a coquettish expression, wanting to reach out and pull him, but Zane avoided her.

“Why are you here?” He frowned, looking very unhappy.

“I came to see you, but I didn’t expect to run into Willette and Nydia arguing, so I couldn’t help but say a few words,” Pippa explained.

Nydia ignored them and looked at Willette. “Sis, let’s go outside and talk.”

Zane didn’t want them to keep arguing, so he spoke up and suggested that everyone go to the office to talk things out. They arrived at Willette’s office, where Pippa had a sour face. But when facing Zane, her eyes turned resentful again. “Sis, I never had any contact with Jasper, so I really don’t know how he found out about your pregnancy,” Nydia spoke first. “Could it be someone he knows at the hospital?” This reminded Willette that she hadn’t thought of this when she went to the hospital for a checkup.

“Where there’s smoke, there’s fire, Willette. Do you have a thing with Jasper?” Pippa didn’t want to let Willette off the hook.

Willette sneered, “Whether or not I have a thing with Jasper is none of your business. But do you have any shame pretending to be engaged to Advisor Zane? Just now, Zane said he wasn’t familiar with you!”

Pippa was instantly furious. “Willette, wait. I won’t let you off the hook! Is this shabby office even worth my time?” She opened the door and left, stomping away in her high heels. Indeed, the Wagner family looked down on Willette. But the Wagner family knew that if they kept going like this, their family wouldn’t make it. They had to form an alliance with the Porter family, and Zane was the person that Pippa had to catch.

“I’m sorry that my personal relationship has affected my colleagues in the company,” Zane apologized.

“Zane, this has nothing to do with you,” Willette couldn’t vent her anger on Zane, “There’s nothing left to discuss. You can go back to your work.”

Zane walked out.

Nydia was concerned about Willette. “Sis, did Barclay bully you?”

After calming Willette down, Nydia left her office. She didn’t expect to gain anything unexpected. Was Pippa going to have a conflict with Willette? Molly had brought a clean towel to wipe the water stains off their clothes.

“Sis, you should wipe yourself too.” Molly handed the towel to Maddie.

“Thank you, you’re so cute!” Maddie wanted to pinch her cheeks.

“First, let me drop off my colleague at home. It’s not convenient for her to take a taxi in such heavy rain,” Nydia said to Jesse, who didn’t object.

“How come you came to pick me up?” Nydia pinched Molly’s face.

Maddie wanted to pinch her, but she didn’t dare.

“We were afraid it was dangerous in such heavy rain, so Brother asked Daddy to come with us to pick you up,” Molly replied.

“Thank you.”

On the way, Molly was mostly the one talking, and they dropped off Maddie at her place.
