Chapter 31
Reborn Before The Divorce
Jesse asked someone to bring a cup of hot water for Louie. Louie felt it was very hot when he held it in his hand.
âI canât discipline your son. You have to do it yourself. Drink some water and donât spill it. Itâs very hot,â Jesse said.
Louie was going to put the hot water on the table, but Jesseâs words made his hand pause.
He was wondering why Jesse, who was perfectly fine, would have his secretary bring water in and remind him not to spill it because it was hot.
âThank you for your concern, Mr. Pascall,â Louie said, taking a sip of water. But his hand trembled, and he spilled the hot water on his own leg.
The scorching hot water poured onto his leg injury, and he frowned in silence.
Jesseâs mouth twitched slightly.
He picked up the phone and said, âMr. Wollridge spilled hot water on himself. Please come in and handle it.â
The secretary came in immediately to deal with it.
âAre you okay? Where did you get burned?â
âIâm fine. Itâs just that my pants are wet,â Louie said, standing up and enduring the pain. âMr. Pascall, thank you for being so forgiving. Iâll go back now. If you need anything, just give me a call.â
âOkay. Help me send Mr. Wollridge out,â Jesse said.
Louie immediately went back home after leaving the Pascall Group. He saw his burnt thigh and could only blame himself for his misfortune.
Jesse was indeed a person who always sought revenge for even the slightest wrongs, just as the rumors had said.
Fortunately, the incident today was worth it, as it gave the company an opportunity.
âHoney, whatâs wrong with you? How did you get hurt?â Mrs. Wollridge was startled when she saw her husbandâs burn.
âItâs okay. Just be careful not to provoke anyone related to Jesse in the future,â Louie said.
âDid he do this? Is he still human? Whatâs so great about him? Canât we just stop cooperating with him?â Mrs. Wollridge grumbled dissatisfiedly.
âShut up. If it wasnât for you causing trouble, would this happen?â Louie snapped.
Mrs. Wollridge muttered resentfully, âHeâs just a cripple. Why canât people say that?â
Louie was extremely angry. How could he marry such a brainless woman?
âIf you cause me any more trouble, Iâll divorce you!â Louie threatened.
Upon hearing this, Mrs. Wollridge was both angry and aggrieved!
It was all Nydiaâs fault!
If Nydia hadnât refused to speak well of her to Jesse, how could she have been scolded by Louie?
Her hatred erupted in an instant. Mrs. Pascallâs eyes were clouded with gloom, and suddenly, a thought flashed through her mindâ¦
She had a way to make Jesse divorce that bitch Nydia!
