Chapter 195
Reborn Before The Divorce
âAlright, we have something to do, letâs go first,â said Barclay as he and Willette left the coffee shop.
As soon as they stepped out, Willetteâs face turned gloomy. âJesse is keeping a close eye on Nydia now, he has someone follow her whenever she goes out,â she said.
âAlthough he solved the last problem, it still made him uncomfortable. He probably doesnât want anything like that to happen again,â she added.
Willette sneered, âHeâs still uncomfortable? He got both fame and fortune, didnât he?â She still held a grudge against Jesse for not being able to bring him down.
âWhy do you hate Jesse so much?â Barclay suddenly asked.
Willette was taken aback for a moment, then became angry. âHeâs Nydiaâs husband, and he wonât divorce her. As long as heâs by Nydiaâs side, we canât control her.â
âIf thatâs the case, why did you let them be together in the first place?â Barclay asked. He was aware of what happened back then, as he was also involved.
âWho knew they would entangle themselves for so many years and not get divorced? And who could have thought that she would get pregnant with twins after just one time!â Willette exclaimed.
She had thought it through back then, if Jesse slept with Nydia, he would be impossible to be with her. Nydiaâs reputation would also be ruined, which would have been a double benefit. But she didnât expect Nydia to get pregnant, and with twins no less.
âWe still need to persuade Nydia to work in your company. You should care for her more since she likes you, right?â
Barclay looked at her with a smile. âArenât you afraid that Iâll fall in love with her? Are you so confident in letting me flirt with her?â
âI dare you to! If you dare to betray me, I wonât spare you!â Willette warned.
Upon hearing Willetteâs warning, Barclay immediately thought of her kissing Jasper, and he sneered in his heart. Where did Willette get the courage to warn him?
âI dare, but, I just wonât. Youâre the only one in my heart, and Iâve decided to be with you for the rest of my life. So you canât leave me, otherwise, Iâll have nothing,â he said, looking at Willette with deep affection.
He was very confident that no woman could resist such a gaze, and sure enough, Willette fell for him.

Nydia and Julia returned home.
âJulia, Iâll talk to my husband about this,â Nydia said.
âOkay, I understand,â Julia replied. She had been at the Pascall Villa for many years, and learned to read between the lines and understand peopleâs underlying intentions.
That night, Nydia found out that Jesse would be back late, so she went to his room and waited, afraid of missing him.
She took a shower and lay in his bed, watching a movie and keeping an eye on the time. She noticed that it was already past eleven, and Jesse rarely came home this late.
[Still not back yet?]
[Almost there.]
Nydia relaxed and fell asleep. When she woke up, it was still early, not even seven oâclock. Jesse was sleeping next to her and showed no signs of waking up.
She suddenly thought, could she take advantage of this opportunity to take a look at Jesseâs leg injury?
It had been so long and she still hadnât been able to see it, making it impossible to design a treatment plan.
She took a deep breath and slowly exhaled.
She cautiously reached out to lift up his pants while preparing her camera in photo mode so she could study it better.
The lighting in the bedroom was a bit dark, so she lowered her head to get as close as possible to his leg.
She was about to see it and her heart was beating fast. She tried her best to stay calm and not wake Jesse up.
However, a cold voice suddenly rang out, âWhat are you doing?â
