Nydia rubbed her nose and left Jesse’s bedroom.

Time to make up for her mistake by making breakfast.

After she finished getting dressed and ready, the two kids had just woken up.

“Good morning, Mommy! Mommy, what happened to your forehead?” Molly was shocked.

“Good morning, Molly. Mommy accidentally bumped into something, but I’ve put some medicine on it.” Seeing Molly, Nydia had an idea. “Molly, come help Mommy out.”

“Whatever you say, Mommy!” Molly said, using a cute idiom.

“Mommy, I can blow on your forehead.” The little girl stood on tiptoe and blew on Nydia’s forehead. “There, it doesn’t hurt anymore.”

“Thank you, Molly. Mommy made Daddy angry this morning, can you help Mommy make him happy later?”

“I’ll do it!” Molly puffed out her chest, looking very confident.

Nydia pinched her little cheeks. “Great, now Mommy is going to make breakfast.”

“Wow, great! I can’t wait to eat Mommy’s breakfast again!”

As Nydia headed to the kitchen, two chefs were already there and immediately called out, “Missus.”

“I’ll make breakfast, and you guys can help me.”

“Sure.”

To appease Jesse, Nydia made a very luxurious breakfast, but it didn’t take too long to prepare, so it wouldn’t delay Jesse’s departure to work.

However, when Nydia placed the prepared breakfast on the table and invited everyone to eat, Jesse took one look and said coldly, “I’m going to the company.”

“Don’t you want to have breakfast before you go?” Nydia quickly stopped him.

“No.” Jesse responded coldly.

Molly immediately jumped off the chair and said, “Brother, let’s go to school.”

“What? But you haven’t had breakfast yet.”

“Daddy doesn’t have breakfast, so we should learn from him. The teacher says that parents are the best teachers for students.”

Jesse stopped in his tracks.

“You don’t eat either? But I made so much…” Nydia sounded sad.

“Well, I’ll eat by myself. I should be able to finish it in a day.”

She didn’t wait for them to sit down before starting to eat.

“Mommy, don’t cry. Molly will eat with you, and so will Brother.” Molly pulled Tavish back over.

Tavish: “???” Mommy wasn’t crying, was she?

Meanwhile, Jesse had returned and was silently eating breakfast.

“Daddy, are you unhappy?” Molly tentatively asked.

“Don’t talk while you’re eating.”

“Why can Daddy talk when you want to, but I can’t? Daddy, you’re being unfair!”

“Plus, I’m concerned about Daddy, but Daddy, you are angry with me.”

Molly felt very wronged.

Jesse knew he had taken his anger out on Molly and wanted to comfort her, but then he heard Molly ask Nydia, “Mommy, did Daddy start his period?”

Pfft!

Nydia spit out her milk!

Jesse got chocked by the food.

“Molly, who told you that?”

“Other kids, they said adults are unhappy when they have their period.”

Jesse couldn’t stay mad after this little incident and apologized to Molly after he finished eating, “Daddy was wrong just now. I’m sorry, Molly. I am going to work now.”

“Daddy apologized, so I forgive Daddy.” Molly sweetly smiled and melted everyone’s heart.

But before leaving, Jesse gave Nydia a cold look.

What a petty man!

But it was true that she had deceived him. Feeling guilty, she silently lowered her head and ate her food.

Jesse probably had a lot of work to do at the company today and had to make deals with Cade. Nydia decided to wait for Jesse to come back before properly coaxing him.
