Jesse and Nydia were both surprised.

There was no damn tacit understanding between them at all!

“Okay, then you arrange a time, and when you have, let me know. I’ll talk to the Malones,” Nydia responded.

“Okay.” He glanced at her knee and said, “Rest well these two days and don’t get injured again.”

Nydia smiled and leaned closer to him. “Are you caring about me?”

Jesse sneered, “So that you won’t limp when we go to the Malone Villa, and then accuse me of bullying you.”

“Of course not!” Vergil replied immediately.

Vergil hesitated for a moment. After adjusting his emotions, he said to Nydia, “Missus, I admit that I have some issues with you because of your previous behavior.”
