Chapter 117
Reborn Before The Divorce
Molly and Tavish exchanged a glance, and Molly scratched her head awkwardly. âDaddy, I⦠fell asleep and only heard Mommy say she wants to open a restaurant.â
Jesseâs gaze turned to Tavish.
Tavish unconsciously grabbed his own clothes and thought for a moment before answering, âDaddy, your relationship with Mommy is still not good. Do you like someone else? Are you going to find us a new mommy?â
Jesseâs face turned black. âWhat nonsense? Thereâs no such thing!â
âThen you should talk to Mommy about it,â Tavish disagreed and looked at Jesse.
Tavish seemed to have been won over to the other side?!
After getting up and changing clothes, Jesse took them to do some morning exercises. He still paid a lot of attention to the physical fitness of the two children, so they were now taller and more lively than other children their age.
âTavish, on Saturday, Iâll take you swimming.â When he heard this, Tavishâs face stiffened, and a trace of fear flashed in his eyes.
But he didnât say anything and agreed.
However, Jesse noticed his hesitation and uneasiness.
Since nearly drowning last time, Tavish had been afraid of water, but Jesse wanted him to overcome this difficulty, so he planned to take him swimming this Saturday to see how afraid he was.
âYou can have breakfast now.â Nydia came over to call them. She went to change clothes first since her clothes still had the smell of oil and smoke.
When she came out in her new clothes and passed by Jesse, a cold fragrance floated by, and Jesse involuntarily remembered what happened last night. His face turned unnatural red, and his throat tightened, coughing twice.
âDrink some orange juice to moisten your throat and replenish vitamin C.â Nydia handed him the orange juice without noticing anything unusual.
Jesse lowered his head and drank the orange juice, and the blush on his face gradually dissipated.
âIâll go out and talk about renting a shop later.â She said to Jesse.
âOkay.â
Nydia thought Jesse would definitely have someone follow her, but when she left, no one wanted to follow her, and she had to go alone. Although she was puzzled, she didnât have time to think too much and could only drive there herself.
âIâm sorry to keep you waiting for so long.â
âItâs okay, youâre not late.â
The receptionist for Nydia was a young man dressed in a black suit, with shiny and well-combed hair, looking very energetic.
âMr. Davison, can you represent me fully regarding the rental matter?â Nydia asked.
âWell, I can. Youâre interested in renting my shop, so you naturally know that itâs in a prime location and has a large space. The rent is not cheap.â
He was a bit nervous, after all, he was just representing Boss to receive madam. Although he didnât understand why Boss wanted to do this, he dared not ask or say anything and could only follow the instructions.
âWell, I understand very well. It is precisely because I am attracted by these advantages that I have chosen to rent your shop. Please quote the rent.â
âMaybe you should give a price first.â He was nervous, worried that he would give too high or too low a price, and his forehead was sweating.
He was caught in the middle of the little quirk between Boss and madam and was in a dilemma.
Nydia had actually done market research and knew that the rent in this area would not be cheap.
â35, 000.â she tentatively asked.
â35, 000â¦â
âThis price is already very fair. I also researched it before coming here. If youâ¦â
âNo problem, itâs 35, 000!â he agreed, leaving Nydia bewildered.
She was ready to bargain and negotiate for a long time, but it turned out to be so easyâ¦
Did she quote too high a price? Otherwise, why was he so quick to agree?
Meanwhile, Philbert Davison breathed a sigh of relief. He was afraid that if madam didnât rent, he would be in trouble!
Just when he thought he was about to complete the task, Nydiaâs words exploded in his ears.
âWhy do I feel like Iâve seen you somewhere before?â
