Recap: Unexpected visit of Vinay and later Nila comforts Chezhiyan.

❤️❤️❤️

The scene shifts to the Gym, named Iron Haven, had an atmosphere that was both vibrant and, lined with sleek industrial lighting, casting a soft glow over the spacious layout. The walls were a mix of matte black and charcoal grey, with motivational phrases like "Stronger Every Day" and "Push Beyond Limits" stencilled in bold white letters across the walls.

Kavin stepped into the gym, the familiar scent of rubber mats and faint hints of sweat already energizing him. The rhythmic thump of treadmills, hum of stationary bikes, and clang of weights hitting the floor created a kind of harmony that fueled his focus. He moved through the space confidently, adjusting his gloves as he approached the free weights. Kavin was working through his usual routine, earbuds in, focused entirely on the rhythm of his workout. The clanging of weights and the hum of cardio machines filled the background, but his mind was clear. Suddenly he smelled the familiar lavender fragrance and he turned to look at the figure coming from the entrance.

Kavin's mv: oh god why I'm getting excited? Be cool! Don't look at her don't look at her!

As Kavin focused on his reps, Yazhini, his personal trainer approached him, clipboard in hand, her usual lavender fragrance announcing her presence before she even spoke.

"Alright, Mr. Determined, ready for today's challenge?" she asked, a playful smile lighting up her face.

Kavin smirked, setting down his weights and turning to face her. "I don't know if anyone's ever ready for your workouts, Yazhini."

She chuckled, tapping her pen against the clipboard. "That's the point! Let's see if you're up to the task."

As Kavin moved to the bench press, Yaazhini stood beside him, arms folded, watching his form closely. Just as he started his set, she leaned down with a smirk.

"Let's see if you can keep that charm up while lifting," she challenged, her tone playful yet firm.

Kavin grinned between breaths, pushing the weight with effort. "Easy. I've got a great motivator standing right next to me."

She rolled her eyes, but there was a hint of a smile. "Flattery won't lighten those weights, Kavin."

"Maybe not, but a smile from you might make this set feel a whole lot easier," he quipped, struggling through the last rep.

Yaazhini laughed, gently patting his shoulder as he set the bar down. "Keep it up, and you'll be doing extra cardio next time."

"Anything for you, Coach," he replied, catching her eye, his smirk turning softer, a little more genuine.

She paused for a second, then shook her head, clearly amused. "Alright, charmer, on to the next exercise. Let's see if you can handle it without the sweet talk."

"Challenge accepted," he said, flashing her a wink as he got ready for the next set.

As Yaazhini adjusted Kavin's form on his next exercise, he glanced up with a playful gleam in his eyes and a simple smile. "You know, I'm convinced you're just trying to keep me coming back," he teased, his voice low and warm.

Kavin leaned a little closer, his grin widening. "Because you give me the toughest workouts and then flash that smile as a reward."

Yaazhini shook her head, laughing. "If that's what it takes to keep you here, then I must be doing something right."

He placed a hand over his heart, feigning a dramatic sigh. "With you as my trainer, I'm willing to be tortured every day."

She chuckled, rolling her eyes. "Keep talking, and I'll add extra reps."

Kavin's smile widened as he shrugged, keeping his gaze on her. You are adding extra reps because you know I'm your favourite client."

She raised an eyebrow, laughing softly. "Favorite? I'm pretty sure that's not what I wrote in my notes."

He chuckled, lifting the weights as she stayed nearby, ready to correct his form. "Well, if it's not in the notes, I'll just have to keep coming back until you change your mind."

"Is that so?" she asked, crossing her arms with an amused smile.

"Absolutely," he replied confidently, setting the weights down. "You've got me hooked."

Yazhini shook her head, fighting back a grin. "Alright, charmer. Back to work, or you'll be doing an extra set."

"Anything to spend more time with my trainer," he quipped, making her laugh as they moved on to the next exercise, their playful energy filling the gym.

As they moved to the next station, Kavin kept glancing at Yaazhini, a mischievous spark in his eyes. She noticed, trying to stay focused, but his attention was undeniable.

"Kavin," she said, catching his gaze. "If you keep looking at me like that, you'll never get through this set."

He shrugged, still smiling. "Can you blame me? It's hard to focus on weights when you're around."

She rolled her eyes, clearly amused. "Alright, Mr. Smooth Talker. Give me ten more reps, or I'll double them."

He laughed, gripping the weights. "Fine, Coach. But you're the one making this workout tough."

When he finished, he looked up at her, breathing hard but still grinning. "How'd I do?"

She smirked, giving him a nod of approval. "Not bad. But you're still a work in progress."

He chuckled. "Good thing I'm not going anywhere, then."

They shared a quiet smile, both feeling the subtle warmth between them before she motioned to the next station. "Alright, let's keep going. Less talk, more reps."

"Yes, ma'am," he replied, unable to hide his smile as he followed her lead.

After an hour, he was exhausted and closed his eyes leaning on the wall and Yazhini brought his protein shake bottle.

Kavin's eyes lit up in happiness and surprise and he exclaimed, it's my protein shake bottle!

Kavin: enakaga protein shake laam eduthutu varinga, Appo idhu love dhaana Yazhini?

( You are bringing my protein shake for me. So it's love. Isn't it Yazhini?)

He asked with a tired voice and grabbed the protein shake bottle as his fingers brushed on hers.

Yazhini wiped his sweat on his forehead with the towel and his breath caught on his throat.

Aama. Love thaan adhuku enna?(yeah. It's Love! So what?) She mumbled in a low voice.

He blinked and he was shocked and his eyes went round.

Ippo enna sonninga? (What did u say?)

Adhellam thirumba thirumba laam solla mudiyaathu. (I can't repeat)

Appo evening cafe la solringala?( Can you say it at the cafe in the evening)

Huh? No! I have some work.

Please enakaga vanga. (Please come for me.)

She smiled and nodded and his face beamed in happiness and he hugged her by side being friendly.

She smiled as she found him so cute and respectful in the way he hugged and the way he spoke.

Mr.Smooth talker! You have been hugging me for too long!

He pulled back scratched his nape and looked away.

Ohhh are you embarrassed about it? Don't be shy! You have been training here for one month and you are still blushing huh?

He looked into her eyes bent down and whispered in her ear, You're the one who making me blush like this.

Kavin watched as Yazhini walked away, still grinning, but as she neared the door, she turned and gave him one last look, her expression softer this time.

"Alright, Kavin," she said with a small wave, "see you soon."

He lifted a hand, waving back. "Count on it, Coach."

As she exited, the gym suddenly felt emptier, and Kavin stood there for a moment, just processing. Shaking his head with a laugh, he thought to himself, She's something else.

Adjusting his bag on his shoulder, he made his way to the gym's front desk to check out. The receptionist gave him a knowing smile, and Kavin just chuckled, realizing his expression must be more obvious than he'd intended.

"Good session today?" the receptionist asked, raising an eyebrow.

"The best," he replied, still smiling. "I might even be looking forward to tomorrow's workout."

With one last glance around, he headed for the door, feeling the buzz of excitement for the upcoming café meet-up. As he stepped outside, he took a deep breath of the fresh evening air, a slight blush still lingering from the workout-and from the way Yazhini had made him feel.

Walking away from Iron Haven, he couldn't help but think about how she'd wiped his sweat, her laugh, and the way she'd looked at him when she admitted, even in her own playful way, that there might be something more between them.

He ran to his home and knocked on the door and his mother opened the door.

He came inside lifted his mother in the air and chuckled.

Kavin's mom: deiii eraki vidra! Enna da pandra? Enna aachi da?

(Hey lower me on the floor! What are you doing? What happened da?)

Kavin slowly lowered her on the floor and pinched her cheek.

Amma un marumaga seekirama veetuku Vara pora. Innniku Ava enna sonna theriyuma? (Amma your daughter in law will enter our house soon. Today she said something you know?)

His mother chuckled and dragged him and made him sit on the couch.

As Kavin plopped onto the couch, his mother looked at him with a curious smile.

Kavin's mom: "Dei, yen ipdi loose maari sirikira? (Hey, why are you grinning like a fool?) What did she say today?"

Kavin's eyes sparkled as he leaned forward, excitement written all over his face. "Amma, today Yazhini practically admitted her feelings! She brought me a protein shake and even wiped my sweat. And when I asked if it was love, she said, 'Aama, love thaan.' (Yes, it's love)."

His mother gasped, her face lighting up with joy. "Oh, appo idhu nalla vishayam da! Naa sonna maariye nee love panita, haan? (So, it's good news, huh! Just like I thought, you've fallen in love.)"

Kavin chuckled, scratching his head. "Yes, Amma! She was teasing me, but... it felt real. I think she likes me too."

She clasped her hands together, looking pleased. "Enaku theriyum da. Ava oru nalla ponnu. (I knew it. She's a good girl.) When is she coming home to meet me?"

Kavin hesitated, looking sheepish. "Not so fast, Amma! Let's take it slow... but I did ask her to meet me at the café this evening."

She nodded with a knowing smile. "Seri (okay) da, Go carefully, treat her well. And don't mess it up with all that 'Mr. Smooth Talker' style, okay?"

Kavin laughed, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. "You're my Amma, my biggest supporter! Don't worry, I'll be good."

She ruffled his hair affectionately. "Nalla shirt potutu kelambu, kanna. (Go and make a good impression, dear.) And come home with good news.

Kavin grinned, gave her a quick hug, and dashed upstairs feeling more certain than ever that something special was blossoming between him and Yazhini.
