Chapter 2753 - An Amazing Woman

Ye Futian cast a scrutinizing eye at the woman. The woman was wearing a white garment that was clean and simple. Her eyes were as clear and ethereal as the water of the lake. One look into her eyes was like bathing under the moonlight in a moon-lit night, and one couldn’t help but feel a sense of tranquility.

“I’m just taking a stroll around here. I’m sorry if I inadvertently disturbed the goddess.” The boat Ye Futian was on approached this side of the shore as he made a slight bow to the woman. Facing a woman like this, he couldn’t have any bad feelings toward her.

As he said spoke, the boat under his feet accelerated forward, followed by his figure falling gently on the shore by the lake. He glanced at the surrounding mountains and greenery. Earnestly, he said, “This is a true paradise, out of this world. The goddess cultivates here because you do not like to be disturbed by outside noise. I’m sorry to have disturbed you.” “Not at all. Other people come around here often,” the woman replied calmly as she was making her way back. The fluctuations above the huts had disappeared, and the woman walked into one of them. Ye Futian did not follow her inside but sat by the lake instead.

The woman didn’t seem to mind his presence but returned to the hut to give the girls their lessons and teach them cultivation. Sitting where he was, Ye Futian could hear the sound of reading from inside the hut.

Seeing this, Ye Futian shook his head with a wry smile. He then settled down quietly by the lake, lying down and feeling the tranquility.

The sun was slightly intoxicating, and Ye Futian immensely enjoyed this moment of rare tranquility. Slowly, he closed his eyes. He fell asleep unknowingly but peacefully.

“My name is Qiqi. The older sister gave it to me,” the girl said with a smile.

“Qiqi,” Ye Futian smiled and asked, “have you always studied here?”

“Un-huh,” the girl nodded, “I have been here ever since I was a kid, and I have been studying with older sister. Big brother, come quickly, or the fish soup will be cold.”

As the girl spoke, she stretched out her hand to pull on Ye Futian’s arm. Ye Futian got up with a smile, then took the girl’s hand as they walked back and came to the outside of the hut.

At the dining table outside the hut, the woman was serving soup to the girls and setting up the bowls and chopsticks. When she saw Ye Futian had arrived, she said in a low voice, “Let’s eat together.”

“Thank you,” Ye Futian nodded and sat down. The two didn’t talk much; they had only exchanged a couple of sentences until now.

“What’s your name, big brother? Why did you come here? Did you encounter danger outside as well?” Qiqi asked Ye Futian. There was a hint of curiosity in those pure and innocent eyes of hers.

“My name is Ye Futian, and it is true that I came here after having encountered a few things on the outside.” Ye Futian smiled lightly and said, “Why do you ask? Did everyone who came here have encountered dangers out there?”

“In the past, many people came here because they had encountered things that could not be resolved, so they came here to ask my sister for help.” Qiqi giggled and continued, “Older sister is awesome, and she can resolve anything. We have all been sent here by the others, looked after by older sister. I must focus on cultivation, and when I grow up, I will help others like my sister.”

“You are leaving?” the woman asked.

After speaking, the woman turned around and walked back to the huts.
