Chapter 4128 Demonwinds Of The Skies

Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4128 Demonwinds Of The Skies

In the valley near the edge of the southeastern end of the Verdant Vale Lower Realm, Fenren and the others watched Lereza leave them and chase after Calypsea.

"They left just like that?" Shentu, the tiger, blinked.

"Oh my, we're going to die..." Yufella's lips curled, her voice baked with surprise and amusement.

"Quick, retreat!"

Fenren waved his hand. Their flying ship began to turn around and leave.

"Not so fast!"

"Where do you think you're all going!?"

The seven Grand Elders from the Verdant Vale Sect, who were still alive, were horrified by the sudden appearance of apocalyptic flame manifestation, but they quickly reacted as they saw the others trying to leave.

"Die!"

One of them lunged forward, waving his hand.

A gust of green winds picked up. The aura around him grew oppressively large as he extended his hands into wings.

"Verdant Sky Gale Storm!"

This Grand Elder raised his hands, and his aura surged as though he had become one with the winds he summoned.

A colossal roc of emerald light materialized behind him, its wings spanning the sky. The roc screeched, its cry resonating with the valley as countless emerald wind blades formed around it. With a single beat of its massive wings, the blades shot forward in an overwhelming barrage, each one sharp enough to tear through mountains.

At the same time, four others also formed hand signs and circulated their energies, appearing to summon Divine Techniques as the heaven and earth energy above them rumbled.

"Tempest Phoenix Feather Storm"

The second Grand Elder chanted a series of incantations, and a majestic phoenix formed of wind in the form of flames emerged, its feathers crackling with destructive force. The phoenix flapped its wings, sending a whirlwind of flaming feathers spiraling toward the ship. Each feather burned with a fiery green glow that appeared to possess the property of nirvana.

"Cyclonic Wind Dragon Devastation" Nôv(el)B\\jnn

"You speak as though we could help him with our measly cultivation base. If the Realm Master can't handle it, then we can't. But oh well, if you don't want it... then I'll take it for myself..."

"Wait... where's the other two?" The Garuda Demonwind finally noticed.

It instantly made the others come to a stop and hurriedly check their surroundings. Their main focus was deep in the valley because those two Grand Elders could've rushed to take the loot, but then again, they suddenly disappeared from their senses when they realized it, causing them to be spooked beyond comparison as they found the situation ridiculous.

Just how can they suddenly disappear from their senses? Those two Grand Elders were weaker than them, the Demonwinds who carried the blood of the five Grand Sky Supreme Beasts. Although their bloodline was not strong in the Empyrean Stage because these beasts could not enter the Empyrean Beast Stage without evolving, it was still better than most types of winds.

*Rip!~*

Abruptly, one of their heads flew as a silhouette rushed past them.

A sharp claw ripped through the neck, and a pair of rabbit ears swayed before the figure disappeared again.

"Trash~"

A melodious voice resounded as a female voice insulted them.

"Who!?"

Suddenly, the atmosphere around them became misty, but they could see the silhouette of hundreds of flying ships, making their hearts sink.

They didn't hit the flying ship?

At this moment, a figure appeared in the center. Illumina showed herself as she glared at them with her crimson eyes. The four Grand Elders' scalp turned numb as they recalled her from the reports the Ghostly Crow Realm Master gave.

"None of you could see through my illusion. Where did you all get the courage to go against my master, the Divine Emperor of Death? I'm coming for you next, Phoenix Demonwind. Your blood would be a good souvenir for that useless Skylia."

"Wai-!"

Illumina had just uttered and didn't move, but Phoenix Demonwind's head was already flying into the air.

The other three barely managed to witness this scene before they turned around and fled in the same direction. After all, this was a valley. There were only two directions, and above them, a terrifying wind region where they could be caught.

Their speed was incredibly fast. However, how could they outrun Illumina?

The night sky was painted red as her figure flashed through the valley, and she beheaded the other Grand Elders in the next five seconds.
