He saw Stella wave at him before he saw the other ladies gaze at him disapprovingly.

"When were you going to say that Stella officially became our sister?" Mingzhi raised her brows.

Davis spread his hands, "I was going to, but you were all pretty pissed that I spent more than half a day with someone else, even going as far as to...."

"What happened?" Stella innocently asked.

"Aha~" Mingzhi wryly laughed, "Elder Sis was just frustrated and tried to do something crazy. There's no need to worry because I've been cured."

Davis panned his gaze and caught sight of Shirley, Lea, and Calypsea.

He nodded at them, causing them to nod back. Even Calypsea was more mature in her thoughts despite her small frame. She no longer troubled anyone, not even him, and kept her apocalyptic flames suppressed to the lid, not leaking a single iota of Divergent aura, according to Tia.

Honestly, he was surprised by Calypsea's rapid growth. Of course, she was pretty much stuck to Lea as they seemed to have bonded a lot during this period of time. He felt thankful to Lea for taking care of her in his stead.

'I guess Calypsea no longer needs me...'

Davis shook his head lightly.

Calypsea was her own person, and eventually, she would grow to be with Lea or leave them. At least, he owed her that much for creating her, but he would like her to stay with them as he wanted to protect her.

Calypsea also wanted to be with them as she didn't want to be abandoned by him, but looking at her now, it was like she didn't even know him.

"Calypsea, have you been a good girl?" He asked fondly.

"I've been a good girl, master~" Calypsea took out the lollipop from her mouth and giggled.

Davis couldn't believe she actually remembered the promise they made. He felt moved, understanding that she was holding back and not causing anyone trouble, even him, because of the promise they exchanged.

He walked towards her and spread his hands, "Come here."

A lollipop was suddenly airborne when Lea saw that Calypsea was no longer on her shoulder, seated like a spoiled child. Calypsea instantly rushed towards Davis and embraced him, looking so happy as she held onto his shoulders.

"Calypsea, my little destructive menace... I can't believe you still remember your master."

"Lea, I'm sorry." He reached out and grabbed her hands, "I have decided to give the Vast Nebula Orchid to Stella since her realm creation arts are more important for our survival. I hope you can understand."

"I understand." Lea's lips curled behind her veil.
