Chapter 340
Summon Of The Sword
Chapter 340 âLet me see who dares to bully Quinn Corporation!â A cold snort rang, and no less than twenty bodyguards in black entered the meeting room. Then a young man dressed in a highâend suit and wearing a Constantin watch stepped in.
It was Quill!
He entered imposingly with his men as if he was a hero to the rescue.
Quill was also followed by some employees of Quinn Corporationâs branch office.
All the employees of Quinn Corporation were looking at Quill with anticipation.
The look in their eyes was as if they had seen their savior. For some reason, even Willow felt relieved when she saw Quill. 1 She had to admit that Quillâs identity and the Zimmer familyâs status in River City brought her some security. âQuill, what are you doing here?â As soon as Sean saw Quill, he realized something. He now strongly suspected that Quill might have arranged this. âWhat am I doing here?
âAm I just going to watch Willow get bullied if I donât come over?
âCould a loser like you protect Willow?â
Quill snorted coldly and asked Sean.
âWillow doesnât need your protection.â
Sean looked at Quill coldly.
âThen show me how you protect her!
âTell me, what can you do?â Quill asked Sean angrily as he pointed at the middleâaged men.
That swagger made the Quinn Corporation employees take Quillâs side.
Quillâs family was wellârespected and rich. Sean was no match for him.
â Sean, shut up!
Sean was about to say something, but Willow interrupted him with a frown.
âYoung Master Zimmer, what do you mean?â
The middleâaged man from Far Ocean Loan Company asked as he looked at Quill. âWhat do you mean?
âIâve heard everything. For your information, Quinn Corporation is under my protection!
âDonât tell me itâs in some black and white. What I say is better than that!â
Quill snorted coldly. His tone was forceful, giving off a domineering aura.
Quinn Corporationâs employees in the background looked at Quill with admiration. Quill was a hero to them. He was just like their savior! Willowâs heart also could not help feeling touched.
If only Sean said those words.
Willow would be at ease if Sean had an identity like Quill.
However, Sean could not do it.
âYoung Master Zimmer, we are willing to do you a favor. âBut you donât know the details of this. âThat guy called Sean Lennon did this, and weâre only here to reclaim our companyâs profits. âI admit that some loan companies are shady, but thatâs how we make a living. âItâs kind of inappropriate that you insist on getting involved in this, Young Master Zimmer.â The middleâaged man said as he narrowed his eyes at Quill slightly.
âThat loser did this?â
Quill frowned and glanced at Sean.
Willow was silent for a few seconds, but she nodded anyway. Quill flicked his wrist and said with a frown, âI donât care.
âNow that Iâm here, I canât watch you bully Willow.â
What Quill said was like a lifeline for Willow.
The middleâaged man of Far Ocean Loan Company looked at each other as if they were considering whether to offend the Zimmer family. A few seconds later, the middleâaged man nodded.
âSince Young Master Zimmer has said so, weâll do you a favor.
âWeâll go back first.
âI hope Ms. Quinn can take care of everything today. Weâll get back whatâs ours tomorrow.â
After the middleâaged man said that, he left with the rest of his men.
The employees at Quinn Corporationâs branch office let out a long sigh.
âYoung Master Zimmer, you couldnât have come at a better time.â
âThank you for helping us out, Young Master Zimmer. Youâre our savior!â Some employees, including senior executives, thanked Quill repeatedly. They also glared at Sean as they thanked Quill. It was upsetting that Quinn Corporation had to take the fall for the mess Sean created.
âYoung Master Zimmer, thank you.â Willow let out a sigh and thanked Quill.
âWillow, itâs fine.
âIâm gonna go back and find out whatâs going on.
âDonât worry. No one can bully you when Iâm around!â
Quill waved his hand slightly. He was about to leave immediately, without any hesitation.
It was a far cry from the way he used to be. Willow disliked Quill less when he did so. Quill then glanced meaningfully at Sean and turned to leave.
