Chapter 2100
Summon Of The Sword
Kevinâs eyes were filled with disbelief!
He never imagined meeting such a lunatic!
âIf you have a grudge against the Lake family, go to the main players of the Lake family! Iâm just a nobody. Killing me wonât help you!â
Zander stepped forward and held up two fingers at Kevin.
âOne, your stupid son nearly hit us with his car yesterday...â
âTwo, your butler lost his mind today and went to Optimus Clinic to pick a fight...â
âWeâre here to toy with you and give the Lake family a warning. But weâre not in a rush. We have plenty of time and energy7 to toy with the Lake family. The Lake family is still in the dark so far.â
Kevin fell to his knees with a thump and begged Sean.
âDonât kill me, please! Iâll agree to whatever requests you have. All I want is for you to let me live!â
Sean sneered and glanced at Zander. âDo you have a coin?â
âI happened to have one left.â Zander tossed it at Sean.
Sean flicked the coin into the air. With a loud clunk, the coin landed and rolled right in front of Kevin.
âKevin Lake,â Sean said slowly.
âYes!â
âDidnât your butler call me a peasant? Isnât your woman disgusted at me for being broke? Iâm offering to buy your company for a dollar. Will you say yes?â
Kevin dared not say anything else at this point. He nodded repeatedly to Sean.
He stood up and said, âY-Yes. Iâll start drawing up the contract now.â
Seeing Kevinâs reaction, Sean chuckled indignantly.
âKevin.â
âYes...â
âYouâre still the chairman of the company, but you donât have any more power. Got it?â
âYes!â
âIâll send someone to keep an eye on you at all times. Iâll leave you to handle the Lake familyâs information and situation.
When I trample over the Lake family, I donât mind sparing you some profit if you have been good.â
âYes! Yes!â Kevin nodded.
Half an hour later, Sean left with his men. It was quite a spectacle when Kevin brought the whole company out to see them off.
As Seanâs minivan led more than 70 Hummers away, Kevin had mixed feelings.
He glanced at the man Sean had planted beside him and shuddered again.
He had lost his son overnight, became Seanâs prisoner, and had to be a spy in the Lake family. At this point, he could only pray that the day Sean overthrew the Lake family, Sean would fulfill his promise instead of killing him.
The woman beside him was pale. She was regretful.
If she had known Seanâs identity, she would never have dared to say such outrageous things to Sean.
However, there was no use crying over spilled milk.
She and Kevin were in this together now.
Kevin was still valuable, but what about her?
