Chapter 1312
Summon Of The Sword
However, the room was now empty.
None of the supplies Sean sent were left. Not even a bed.
âWellâ¦â
May gritted her teeth slightly as if she had something to say.
âAunt May, what are you not telling me?â
Caitlyn was aggrieved as she spoke.
When she took the children to breakfast this morning, she was going to bring out the milk and give each child a bottle.
However, she opened the door to find it empty with all the supplies gone.
When she asked May, May stammered and did not say anything.
It made Caitlyn uncomfortable.
âMadam Randall, you didnât secretly sell these things, did you?â
One of the caretakers asked, frowning.
The two caretakers were employees of the orphanage.
However, they did not see May as their boss because they were volunteers and did not receive a penny for their work.
They sincerely wanted to do something for the orphanage.
They felt uncomfortable when they saw it.
âI didnât.â
May whispered back, shaking her head.
âI believe Aunt May wonât do such a thing.
âIf she wanted to do that, she wouldnât have to wait until now.â
Caitlyn frowned slightly and said as she looked at the two caretakers.
She did not know where the supplies went.
However, she would never suspect May of selling them for money.
âWhere on earth did they go?â
âAlthough the orphanage doesnât belong to us, we have an obligation as volunteers to supervise everything here.â
âThe supplies Mr. Lennon sent over belong to no one but the orphanage.â
The two caretakers looked at Caitlyn as they spoke gravely.
âAunt May, tell us where they went.
âYou were alone in the orphanage yesterday. Donât you know where theyâve gone?â
Caitlyn asked helplessly, looking at May.
They did not think a thief came along and stolen the supplies, What place was this? It was an orphanage!
Those supplies were sent by charitable people.
Even people with the hardest lives would not steal the orphanageâs supplies if they had any conscience.
Therefore, they knew well that May must know the truth.
May must have known exactly where the supplies were going.
âStop asking.
âWe can survive without them.â
May was silent for a moment before letting out a long sigh. She waved her hand and prepared to enter the building.
Honk honk!
Just then, two car horns rang outside.
Caitlyn and her friendsâ heads turned at once to look outside the door.
They only saw Sean and Zander pull up, get out of the car, and hurry toward the orphanage.
âCatie, Aunt May, whatâs happened?â
Sean frowned slightly, a little nervous.
However, seeing Caitlyn and May safe and sound was a big relief for Sean.
âBrother Sean, the supplies are gone.â
Caitlyn was silent for two seconds before pointing to the empty warehouse after all.
âThe supplies are gone? What do you mean?â
Sean was confused for a second.
âMr. Lennon, the supplies you sent over have all disappeared.
âWe asked Madam Randall, and she said she didnât know why.â
One of the caretakers looked at May with a frown, speaking in an accusatory tone.
